Micah 2
1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, And contrive evil upon their beds; When the morning is light, they practise it, Because it is in the power of their hand.
¡Ay de los que maquinan iniquidad y en sus lechos preparan el mal! A la luz del día lo ponen por obra, porque tienen el poder en su mano.
2 They covet fields, and take them by violence; Houses, and take them from their owners. They defraud a man of his house; Yea, a man of his inheritance.
Codician campos y los roban, también casas, y se apoderan de ellas; oprimen al dueño y su casa, al propietario y su heredad.
3 Therefore, thus saith Jehovah: Behold, against this race do I meditate evil. From which ye shall not remove your necks, nor lift up your heads; For it shall be a time of evil.
Por eso, dice Yahvé: He aquí que tengo preparado contra esta raza un mal, del cual no podréis librar vuestras cervices; y no andaréis ya erguidos, porque será tiempo calamitoso.
4 In that day shall this song be uttered concerning thee. And this sad lamentation be made: “We are utterly laid waste; He hath changed the portion of my people; How hath he torn it from me! He hath taken away and distributed our fields.”
En aquel día se dirá sobre vosotros un proverbio, y se entonará una lamentación. Dirán: “Somos completamente asolados; (Dios) entrega a otros la herencia de mi pueblo. ¡Cómo me la quita a mí y reparte nuestros campos a los infieles!”
5 Behold, thou shalt have no one henceforth Who shall draw out a line for a portion, In the congregation of Jehovah.
Por eso ya no tendrás quien echando la cuerda (reparta) posesiones en la congregación de Yahvé.
6 “Prophesy not,” [[say they, ]] “O ye that prophesy!” If they prophesy not concerning these things, The shame will not depart.
“¡No profeticéis!”, así dicen ellos. Pero si no se les profetiza, no se apartará (de ellos) el oprobio.
7 O ye that are called the house of Jacob, Is the spirit of Jehovah impatient? Are these his doings? Are not my words kind to him that walketh uprightly?
Dice la casa de Jacob: “¿Se ha disminuido el espíritu de Yahvé? ¿Son estas sus obras?” ¿Acaso mis palabras no son buenas para los que andan por el recto camino?
8 But long since hath my people risen against me, as an enemy; Ye strip the mantle from the garment of those that pass by securely, as men returning from war.
Hace tiempo que el pueblo mío se ha levantado (contra Mí) como enemigo; después de la ropa robáis el manto; hacéis la guerra a los que van pasando confiados.
9 The women of my people ye cast out from their pleasant abodes; Ye deprive their children forever of the glory which I gave them.
A las mujeres de mi pueblo las arrojáis de sus queridas casas, y a sus pequeñuelos les quitáis mi loor para siempre.
10 Arise and depart; This land is not your rest! On account of its pollution shall it be wasted, And given to utter destruction.
Levantaos y marchad, pues no es este el lugar de vuestro descanso; porque es inmundo, será devastado con terrible tormento.
11 If a man follow wind, and invent falsehood, and say, “I will prophesy to thee of wine and strong drink!” He will be the prophet for this people.
Si uno anda tras el viento y tras la mentira, (diciendo): “Yo te profetizo vino y bebida embriagante”, este es el profeta de este pueblo.
12 Yet will I fully gather thee, O Jacob, I will surely assemble the residue of Israel! I will put them together like sheep in a fold; Like a flock in their fold shall they be in a tumult on account of the multitude of men.
Yo te juntaré todo entero, oh Jacob; recogeré los restos de Israel, los pondré juntos como ovejas en un aprisco, cual hato en medio del pastizal, y habrá un ruido grande por (la multitud) de gente.
13 He that forceth a way goeth before them; They force their way, and pass through the gate, And go forth by it; And their king goeth before them, Even Jehovah at the head of them.
Va delante de ellos aquel que les abre camino; irrumpen y fuerzan la puerta, y salen por ella; y delante de ellos marcha su rey, y Yahvé a su frente.
