Matthew 1
1 The genealogy of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham.
| ئەمە ڕەچەڵەکی عیسای مەسیحە، کوڕی داود، کوڕی ئیبراهیم: |
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judah and his brothers.
| ئیبراهیم باوکی ئیسحاق بوو، ئیسحاق باوکی یاقوب بوو، یاقوب باوکی یەهودا و براکانی بوو، |
3 And Judah begat Pharez and Zarah, by Tamar. And Pharez begat Hezron; and Hezron begat Ram;
| یەهودا باوکی پێرێز و زەرەح بوو کە تامار دایکیان بوو، پێرێز باوکی حەسرۆن بوو، حەسرۆن باوکی ڕام بوو، |
4 and Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon; and Nahshon begat Salmon;
| ڕام باوکی عەمیناداب بوو، عەمیناداب باوکی نەحشۆن بوو، نەحشۆن باوکی سەلمۆن بوو، |
5 and Salmon begat Boaz by Rahab. And Boaz begat Obed by Ruth. And Obed begat Jesse;
| سەلمۆن باوکی بۆعەز بوو کە ڕاحاب دایکی بوو، بۆعەز باوکی عوبێد بوو کە ڕائووس دایکی بوو، عوبێد باوکی یەسا بوو، |
6 and Jesse begat David the king. And David begat Solomon by the wife of Uriah.
| یەسا باوکی داودی پاشا بوو. داود باوکی سلێمان بوو لەو ژنەی کە پێشتر ژنی ئوریا بوو، |
7 And Solomon begat Rehoboam; and Rehoboam begat Abijah; and Abijah begat Asa;
| سلێمان باوکی ڕەحەڤەعام بوو، ڕەحەڤەعام باوکی ئەبیا بوو، ئەبیا باوکی ئاسا بوو، |
8 and Asa begat Jehoshaphat; and Jehoshaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Uzziah;
| ئاسا باوکی یەهۆشافات بوو، یەهۆشافات باوکی یەهۆرام بوو، یەهۆرام باوکی عوزیا بوو، |
9 and Uzziah begat Jotham; and Jotham begat Ahaz; and Ahaz begat Hezekiah;
| عوزیا باوکی یۆتام بوو، یۆتام باوکی ئاحاز بوو، ئاحاز باوکی حەزقیا بوو، |
10 and Hezekiah begat Manasseh; and Manasseh begat Amon; and Amon begat Josiah;
| حەزقیا باوکی مەنەشە بوو، مەنەشە باوکی ئامۆن بوو، ئامۆن باوکی یۆشیا بوو، |
11 and Josiah begat Jeconiah and his brothers, at the time of the removal to Babylon.
| یۆشیا باوکی یەهۆیاکین و براکانی بوو، لە کاتی ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل. |
12 And after the removal to Babylon, Jeconiah begat Shealtiel; and Shealtiel begat Zerubbabel;
| لەدوای ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل، یەهۆیاکین باوکی شەئەلتیێل بوو، شەئەلتیێل باوکی زروبابل بوو، |
13 and Zerubbabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
| زروبابل باوکی ئەبیهود بوو، ئەبیهود باوکی ئەلیاقیم بوو، ئەلیاقیم باوکی ئازور بوو، |
14 and Azor begat Zadok; and Zadok begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
| ئازور باوکی سادۆق بوو، سادۆق باوکی ئەکیم بوو، ئەکیم باوکی ئەلیهود بوو، |
15 and Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
| ئەلیهود باوکی ئەلعازار بوو، ئەلعازار باوکی مەتان بوو، مەتان باوکی یاقوب بوو، |
16 and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
| یاقوب باوکی یوسفی مێردی مریەم بوو، ئەوەی عیسای لێبوو، کە بە مەسیح ناودەبردرێت. |
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the removal to Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the removal to Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
| بەم شێوەیە هەموو نەوەکان لە ئیبراهیمەوە هەتا داود چواردە نەوەن، لە داودەوە هەتا ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل چواردە نەوەن، لە ڕاپێچکردنەکەشەوە بۆ بابل هەتا مەسیح چواردە نەوەن. |
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was in this manner. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.
| لەدایکبوونی عیسای مەسیح بەم شێوەیە بوو: کاتێک مریەمی دایکی دەستگیرانی یوسف بوو، پێش ئەوەی بگوازرێتەوە، دەرکەوت کە بەهۆی ڕۆحی پیرۆزەوە سکی پڕبووە. |
19 Then Joseph her husband, being righteous, and not willing to expose her to shame, purposed to put her away privately.
| یوسفی دەستگیرانی کە پیاوێکی چاک بوو، نەیویست ئابڕووی ببات، بڕیاری دا بە نهێنی دەستی لێ هەڵبگرێت. |
20 But while he thought on these things, lo! an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit.
| کاتێک بیری لەم شتانە دەکردەوە، فریشتەیەکی یەزدان هاتە خەونی و پێی فەرموو: «ئەی یوسفی نەوەی داود، مەترسە لەوەی مریەم بهێنیت، چونکە ئەوەی ئەو سکی پێی هەیە لە ڕۆحی پیرۆزە. |
21 And she will bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he will save his people from their sins.
| کوڕێکی دەبێت ناوی دەنێیت عیسا، چونکە گەلەکەی لە گوناهەکانیان ڕزگار دەکات.» |
22 Now all this took place, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
| ئەمانە هەمووی ڕوویدا تاکو ئەوەی یەزدان لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەرەکە فەرموویەتی بێتە دی: |
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel;” that is, when interpreted, God-is with-us.
| ﴿ئەوەتا پاکیزەیەک سکی دەبێت و کوڕێکی دەبێت، ناوی لێ دەنێن ئیمانوێل،﴾ کە بە واتای خودا لەگەڵمانە دێت. |
24 Then Joseph, on waking up from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took to him his wife;
| کاتێک یوسف لە خەو هەستا، ئەوەی فریشتەکەی یەزدان فەرمانی پێدابوو ئەنجامی دا و ژنەکەی گواستەوە. |
25 and he knew her not till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name Jesus.
| بەڵام هەتا کوڕەکەی نەبوو لەگەڵی جووت نەبوو، ئینجا ناوی لێنا عیسا. |
