Matthew 24
1 And Jesus went out, and was going from the temple; and his disciples came to him, to show him the buildings of the temple.
౧యేసు దేవాలయం నుండి వెళ్తూ ఉండగా, ఆయన శిష్యులు ఆ దేవాలయం కట్టడాలను ఆయనకు చూపించారు.
2 And he answering said to them, See ye not all these? Truly do I say to you, There will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.
౨అందుకాయన, “మీరు ఇవన్నీ చూస్తున్నారు గదా. నేను కచ్చితంగా చెప్పేదేమంటే, ఇక్కడ రాయి మీద రాయి ఒక్కటి కూడా నిలిచి ఉండకుండా అన్నీ కూలదోస్తారు” అని వారితో అన్నాడు.
3 And as he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the signs of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (aiōn g165)
౩ఆయన ఒలీవ కొండమీద కూర్చుని ఉండగా శిష్యులు ఆయన దగ్గరికి ఏకాంతంగా వచ్చి, “నువ్వు చెప్పిన విషయాలు ఎప్పుడు జరుగుతాయి? నీ రాకడకూ, లోకాంతానికీ సంకేతాలు మాకు చెప్పు” అని అడిగారు. (aiōn g165)
4 And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one deceive you.
౪యేసు వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “ఎవరూ మిమ్మల్ని మోసం చేయకుండా చూసుకోండి.
5 For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.
౫చాలామంది నా నామంలో వచ్చి ‘నేనే క్రీస్తుని’ అని చెప్పి అనేకమంది దారి తప్పేలా చేస్తారు.
6 And ye are to hear of wars, and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled; for these things must come to pass; but not yet is the end.
౬అంతే గాక మీరు యుద్ధాల గురించి వింటారు. వాటి గురించిన వార్తలు వింటారు. అప్పుడు కలవరపడవద్దు. ఇవన్నీ జరిగి తీరవలసిందే గాని అంతం వెంటనే రాదు.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and earthquakes in divers places.
౭జనం మీదికి జనమూ, రాజ్యం మీదికి రాజ్యమూ లేస్తాయి. అక్కడక్కడ కరువులూ భూకంపాలూ వస్తాయి.
8 But all these things are the beginning of travail-pains.
౮ఇవన్నీ కష్టాలకు ఆరంభం మాత్రమే.
9 Then will they deliver you up to distress, and will kill you; and ye will be hated by all nations on account of my name.
౯“అప్పుడు మనుషులు మిమ్మల్ని హింసలకు గురి చేస్తారు, చంపుతారు. నా నామం కారణంగా మనుషులంతా మిమ్మల్ని ద్వేషిస్తారు.
10 And then will many fall away; and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
౧౦ఆ కాలంలో చాలామంది వెనక్కి జారిపోతారు, ఒకరినొకరు ద్వేషించుకుని ఒకరినొకరు శత్రువులకు పట్టిస్తారు.
11 And many false prophets will arise, and will deceive many.
౧౧అధిక సంఖ్యలో కపట ప్రవక్తలు వచ్చి అనేకమందిని మోసగిస్తారు.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of the many will wax cold.
౧౨అన్యాయం పెరిగిపోయి, దాని ఫలితంగా చాలామందిలో ప్రేమ చల్లారిపోతుంది.
13 But he that endureth to the end will be saved.
౧౩కానీ అంతం వరకూ ఎవరు నిలిచి ఉంటారో వారికే విమోచన లభిస్తుంది.
14 And these glad tidings of the kingdom will be published throughout the whole world for a testimony to all the nations; and then will come the end.
౧౪రాజ్యం గురించిన సువార్త మానవులందరికీ సాక్ష్యంగా లోకమంతటా వినబడుతుంది. ఆ తరువాత అంతం వస్తుంది.
15 When, therefore, ye see the abomination of desolation, spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that readeth understand, )
౧౫“కాబట్టి దేవుడు దానియేలు ప్రవక్త ద్వారా చెప్పిన ‘వినాశకారి అయిన హేయ వస్తువు’ అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలో నిలవడం మీరు చూడగానే (చదివేవాడు గ్రహిస్తాడు గాక),
16 then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains;
౧౬యూదయలో ఉన్నవారు కొండలకు పారిపోవాలి.
17 let not him that is on the house-top go down to take away the things belonging to his house;
౧౭మిద్దెలపై ఉన్నవారు కింద ఇంట్లో నుండి దేనినైనా తీసుకుపోవడానికి దిగి రాకూడదు.
18 and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his garment.
౧౮పొలాల్లో ఉన్నవాడు తన బట్టలు తీసుకోడానికి ఇంటికి వెళ్ళకూడదు.
19 And woe to the women with child, and to those with children at the breast, in those days!
౧౯అయ్యో, ఆ రోజులు గర్భవతులకూ చంటిపిల్లల తల్లులకూ కష్టకాలం.
20 And pray that your flight be not in winter, nor on a sabbath.
౨౦అప్పుడు మహా బాధలు కలుగుతాయి. కాబట్టి మీరు పారిపోయే సమయం చలికాలంలో గానీ విశ్రాంతిదినాన గానీ రాకూడదని ప్రార్థన చేసుకోండి.
21 For there will then be great distress, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor shall ever be.
౨౧ఎందుకంటే అంతటి ఉపద్రవం లోకం పుట్టింది మొదలు ఇప్పటివరకూ రాలేదు, ఇక ముందు రాదు.
22 And were not those days to shortened, no flesh would be saved; but, for the sake of the chosen, these days will be shortened.
౨౨ఆ రోజులను దేవుడు తగ్గించకపోతే శరీరంతో ఉన్న ఏ ఒక్కడూ తప్పించుకోలేడు. అయితే, ఆయన ఎన్నుకున్న వారి నిమిత్తం ఆ రోజులను దేవుడు తక్కువ చేస్తాడు.
23 Then if any one say to you, Lo! here is the Christ; or there, believe him not.
౨౩“ఆ కాలంలో ఎవరైనా, ‘ఇదిగో, క్రీస్తు ఇక్కడ ఉన్నాడు, అక్కడ ఉన్నాడు’ అని చెబితే నమ్మవద్దు.
24 For there will rise up false Christs, and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders, so that, if possible, even the chosen will be deceived.
౨౪కపట క్రీస్తులు, కపట ప్రవక్తలు వచ్చి, సాధ్యమైతే దేవుడు ఎన్నుకున్న వారిని కూడా మోసగించడానికి గొప్ప సూచక క్రియలూ, అద్భుతాలూ జరిగిస్తారు.
25 Lo! I have told you beforehand.
౨౫ఇదిగో, ఇవన్నీ నేను ముందుగానే మీతో చెప్పాను.
26 If therefore they say to you, Lo! he is in the wilderness; go not forth; lo! he is in the private chambers; believe them not.
౨౬కాబట్టి ఎవరైనా ‘ఇదిగో, క్రీస్తు అరణ్యంలో ఉన్నాడు’ అని చెప్పినా, ‘ఇదిగో, ఈ గది లోపల ఉన్నాడు’ అని చెప్పినా మీరు నమ్మవద్దు. వారి వెంట వెళ్ళవద్దు.
27 For as the lightning cometh from the east, and shineth even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
౨౭“మెరుపు తూర్పు వైపున పుట్టి పడమర వైపుకు ఏవిధంగా కనిపిస్తుందో, ఆ విధంగా మనుష్య కుమారుడి రాక కూడా ఉంటుంది.
28 Wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
౨౮శవం ఎక్కడ ఉంటే అక్కడ రాబందులు పోగవుతాయి.
29 And immediately after the distress of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
౨౯“ఆ బాధలన్నీ అయిపోగానే సూర్యుణ్ణి చీకటి కమ్ముతుంది. చంద్రుడు కాంతిని కోల్పోతాడు. ఆకాశం నుండి నక్షత్రాలు రాలిపోతాయి. ఆకాశంలోని శక్తులు చెల్లాచెదరౌతాయి.
30 And then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and will see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
౩౦అప్పుడు మనుష్య కుమారుడి సూచన ఆకాశంలో కనిపిస్తుంది. అప్పుడు మనుష్య కుమారుడు మహా మహిమా ప్రభావాలతో ఆకాశ మేఘాలపై రావడం చూసి, భూమి మీద ఉన్న అన్ని జాతుల ప్రజలు గుండెలు బాదుకుంటారు.
31 And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet, and they will gather his chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
౩౧ఆయన గొప్ప బూర ధ్వనులతో తన దూతలను పంపుతాడు. వారు ఆకాశం ఆ కొన నుండి ఈ కొన వరకూ నలుదిక్కుల నుండీ ఆయన ఎన్నుకున్న వారిని సమకూర్చుతారు.
32 And from the fig-tree learn its parable. When its branch hath now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that summer is near.
౩౨“అంజూరు చెట్టు గురించిన ఉపమానం నేర్చుకోండి. దాని కొమ్మలు చిగిరించి లేత కొమ్మలు వేసేటప్పుడు వసంత కాలం దగ్గర పడిందని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.
33 So also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is near, at the doors.
౩౩అదే విధంగా ఈ సంగతులన్నీ జరగడం చూసినప్పుడు ఆయన మీకు సమీపంలోనే, ద్వారం దగ్గరే ఉన్నాడని తెలుసుకోండి.
34 Truly do I say to you, This generation will not pass away, till all these things take place.
౩౪ఇవన్నీ జరిగే వరకూ ఈ జాతి అంతరించదని నేను మీతో కచ్చితంగా చెబుతున్నాను.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
౩౫ఆకాశమూ భూమీ గతించిపోతాయి గాని నా మాటలు ఎన్నటికీ గతించవు.
36 But that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
౩౬“అయితే ఆ రోజు, ఆ గంట ఎప్పుడో తండ్రికి మాత్రమే తెలుసు గానీ ఏ మనిషికీ తెలియదు. చివరికి పరలోకంలోని దూతలకు, కుమారుడికి కూడా తెలియదు.
37 But as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
౩౭నోవహు రోజుల్లో ఎలా ఉండేదో మనుష్య కుమారుడి రాకడ కూడా అలా ఉంటుంది.
38 For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
౩౮జలప్రళయం రాక ముందు నోవహు ఓడలోకి వెళ్ళిన రోజు వరకూ, మనుషులు తింటూ, తాగుతూ, పెళ్ళిళ్ళు చేసుకుంటూ, ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకుంటూ ఉన్నారు.
39 and knew not, until the flood came, and took them all away, so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
౩౯జలప్రళయం వచ్చి వారంతా కొట్టుకునిపోయే వరకూ వారికి తెలియలేదు. ఆ విధంగానే మనుష్య కుమారుడి రాకడ ఉంటుంది.
40 Then will two men be in the field; one will be taken, and one left.
౪౦ఆ రోజు, పొలంలో ఇద్దరు పురుషులు ఉంటే, ఒకడు వెళ్ళిపోతాడు, మరొకడు అక్కడే ఉండిపోతాడు.
41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one left.
౪౧ఇద్దరు స్త్రీలు తిరుగలి విసురుతూ ఉంటే, ఒకామె వెళ్ళిపోతుంది, మరొకామె ఉండిపోతుంది.
42 Watch, therefore, for ye know not on what day your Lord is coming.
౪౨ఏ రోజున మీ ప్రభువు వస్తాడో మీకు తెలియదు కాబట్టి మెలకువగా ఉండండి.
43 But be sure of this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.
౪౩దొంగ ఏ గంటలో వస్తాడో ఇంటి యజమానికి ముందే తెలిస్తే అతడు మేలుకుని ఉండి దొంగతనం చేయనివ్వడు కదా!
44 Therefore be ye also ready; for at an hour when ye think not, the Son of man cometh.
౪౪మీరు ఎదురు చూడని గంటలో మనుష్య కుమారుడు వస్తాడు కాబట్టి మీరు కూడా సిద్ధంగా ఉండండి.
45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord placed over his household, to give them their food in due season?
౪౫“ఒక యజమాని తన ఇంట్లో పనివారికి వేళకు భోజనం పెట్టడానికి నియమించిన నమ్మకమైన, తెలివైన దాసుడు ఎవరు?
46 Happy is that servant whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.
౪౬యజమాని ఇంటికి వచ్చినప్పుడు ఏ దాసుడు ఆ విధంగా చేస్తుండడం గమనిస్తాడో ఆ దాసుడు ధన్యుడు.
47 Truly do I say to you, that he will place him in charge of all his substance.
౪౭ఆ యజమాని తన యావదాస్తి మీదా ఆ దాసుని నియమిస్తాడని నేను మీతో కచ్చితంగా చెబుతున్నాను.
48 But if the bad servant say in his heart, My lord is tarrying long;
౪౮కానీ ఆ దాసుడు చెడ్డవాడైతే, ‘నా యజమాని ఆలస్యంగా వస్తాడులే’ అని తన మనసులో అనుకుని
49 and begin to beat his fellow-servants, and eat and drink with the drunken,
౪౯తన సాటి సేవకులను కొడుతూ, తాగుబోతులతో కలిసి తింటూ, తాగుతూ ఉంటే,
50 the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for it, and at an hour when he is not aware;
౫౦అతడు ఎదురు చూడని రోజున, అనుకోని గంటలో వాని యజమాని వస్తాడు.
51 and will cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
౫౧వాణ్ణి రెండు ముక్కలుగా నరికించి కపట వేషధారులతో బాటు వాడిని శిక్షిస్తాడు. అక్కడ ఏడుపూ పండ్లు కొరకడమూ ఉంటాయి.”
