Matthew 18
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
၁ထိုအခါ တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ချဉ်းကပ်၍ ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်၌ အဘယ်သူသည်သာ၍ကြီးမြတ် ပါအံ့နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြသော်၊
2 And he called a child to him, and set him in the midst of them,
၂သူငယ်တယောက်ကိုခေါ်တော်မူ၍၊ တပည့်တော်တို့အလယ်၌ထားပြီးမှ၊
3 and said, Truly do I say to you, Unless ye are changed, and become as children, ye will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
၃ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည်ပြောင်းလဲ၍ သူငယ်ကဲ့သို့မဖြစ်လျှင် ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သို့ မ ရောက်ရကြ။
4 Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
၄ထို့ကြောင့် အကြင်သူသည် ဤသူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ မိမိကိုမိမိနှိမ့်ချအံ့၊ ထိုသူသည် ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်၌ သာ၍ကြီးမြတ်လိမ့်မည်။
5 And whoever receiveth one such child in my name, receiveth me.
၅အကြင်သူသည် ငါ့မျက်နှာကိုထောက်၍ ဤကဲ့သို့သောသူငယ်တစုံတယောက်ကို လက်ခံ၏၊ ထိုသူ သည် ငါ့ကိုပင်လက်ခံ၏။
6 But whoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe in me to fall away, it were better for him to have a great millstone hung round his neck, and be swallowed up in the depth of the sea.
၆ငါ့ကိုယုံကြည်သော ဤသူငယ်တစုံတယောက်ကို အကြင်သူသည်မှားယွင်းစေ၏၊ ထိုသူသည် လည် ပင်း၌ ကြိတ်ဆုံကျောက်ကိုဆွဲ၍ နက်နဲသောပင်လယ်၌ နှစ်မြှုပ်ခြင်းကို ခံရလျှင်အနေသာ၍ကောင်း၏။
7 Woe to the world because of stumbling-blocks! For it must needs be that stumbling-blocks come; but woe to the man through whom the stumbling-block cometh!
၇မှားယွင်းစရာအကြောင်းများရှိသောကြောင့် လောကီသားတို့သည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ မှားယွင်းစရာ အကြောင်းရှိရမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း မှားယွင်းစရာအကြောင်းကို ဖြစ်စေသောသူသည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
8 And if thy hand or thy foot is causing thee to fall, cut it off, and cast it from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed or lame, than having two hands, or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
၈သင်၏လက်ခြေသည် သင့်ကို မှားယွင်းစေလျှင် လက်ခြေကိုဖြတ်ပစ်လော့။ လက်ခြေအစုံနှင့် ထာဝရ မီးထဲသို့ချခြင်းကို ခံရသည်ထက် အင်္ဂါချို့တဲ့၍ အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းသို့ ဝင်စားသော်သာ၍ကောင်း၏။ (aiōnios g166)
9 And if thine eye is causing thee to fall, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire. (Geenna g1067)
၉သင်၏မျက်စိသည်လည်း သင့်ကိုမှားယွင်းစေလျှင်၊ မျက်စိကိုထုတ်ပစ်လော့။ မျက်စိနှစ်ဘက်စုံနှင့် ငရဲမီးထဲသို့ချခြင်းကို ခံရသည်ထက် မျက်စိတဘက်နှင့် အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းသို့ဝင်စားသော် သာ၍ကောင်း၏။ (Geenna g1067)
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that their angels in heaven continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
၁၀သင်တို့သည် ဤသူငယ်ကို တစုံတယောက်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်မပြုမည်အကြောင်း သတိရှိကြလော့။ ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ သူတို့၏ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ရှိတော်မူသော ငါ့အဘ၏မျက်နှာတော်ကိုအစဉ် မပြတ်ဖူးမြင်ကြ၏။
၁၁ထိုမှတပါး လူသားသည်ပျောက်သောသူတို့ကို ကယ်တင်အံ့သောငှာ ကြွလာသတည်း။
12 What think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them hath gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety-nine upon the mountains, and go and seek that which hath gone astray?
၁၂အဘယ်သို့ထင်ကြသနည်း။ သိုးတရာရှိသောသူ၌ သိုးတကောင်သည်လမ်းလွဲ၍ပျောက်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူ သည် ကိုးဆယ်ကိုးကောင်သောသိုးတို့ကို တောင်ပေါ်မှာထားခဲ့ပြီးမှ၊ လမ်းလွဲ၍ပျောက်သော သိုးတကောင်ကို သွား၍ရှာတတ်သည် မဟုတ်လော။
13 And if it happen that he find it, truly do I say to you, he rejoiceth over it more than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
၁၃တွေ့ပြီးလျှင်၊ လမ်းမလွဲ၍ပျောက်သောသိုး ကိုးဆယ်ကိုးကောင်၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိသည်ထက်၊ ထိုသိုး တကောင်၌ သာ၍ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိသည်ဟု ငါအမှန်ဆို၏။
14 Thus it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
၁၄ထိုနည်းတူ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ရှိတော်မူသော သင်တို့အဘသည် ဤသူငယ်တယောက်ကိုမျှ ပျက်စီးစေ ခြင်းငှာ အလိုတော်မရှိ။
15 Moreover, if thy brother sin, go and reprove him between thee and him alone. If he listen to thee, thou hast gained thy brother;
၁၅ထို့ကြောင့် သင်၏ညီအစ်ကိုသည် သင့်ကိုပြစ်မှားလျှင်၊ သူ့ဆီသို့သွား၍ နှစ်ယောက်တည်းချင်း သူ၏ အပြစ်ကိုပြ၍ ဆုံးမလော့။ သူသည် သင်၏စကားကိုနားထောင်လျှင် ညီအစ်ကို ကိုရပြီ။
16 but if he do not listen, take with thee one or two more; that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
၁၆သို့မဟုတ် သင်၏စကားကိုနားမထောင်လျှင်။ လူနှစ်ဦးသုံးဦး သက်သေခံ၍စကားရှိသမျှတို့ကို တည် စေခြင်းငှာ ကိုယ်နှင့်အတူ လူတဦးနှစ်ဦးကိုခေါ်ဦးလော့။
17 And if he disregard them, tell the matter to the church; but if he disregard the church also, let him be to thee as a heathen and a publican.
၁၇ထိုသူတို့၏စကားကို နားမထောင်လျှင် အသင်းတော်အားကြားပြောလော့။ အသင်းတော်၏စကားကို နားမထောင်လျှင်၊ သာသနာပလူကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ အခွန်ခံကဲ့သို့၎င်း ထိုသူကိုမှတ်လော့။
18 Truly do I say to you, Whatever ye shall bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever ye shall loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
၁၈ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာသင်တို့ ချည်နှောင်သမျှသည် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ချည်နှောင်လျက် ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာဖြည်လွှတ်သမျှသည် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ဖြည်လွှတ်လျက်ရှိလိမ့်မည်။
19 Again, I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on earth concerning any thing that they shall ask, it will be done for them by my Father o who is in heaven.
၁၉တဖန်ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ သင်တို့တွင်နှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် သဘောချင်းတူ၍ ဆုတောင်း လျှင်၊ တောင်းသမျှသောဆုတို့ကို ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော ငါ၏ခမည်းတော်သည် ပေးတော်မူလတံ့။
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
၂၀အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အကြင်အရပ်၌ လူနှစ်ဦးသုံးဦးတို့သည် ငါ၏နာမကိုထောက်၍စည်းဝေးကြ၏၊ ထိုအရပ်၌ သူတို့အလယ်မှာ ငါရှိသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
21 Then came Peter, and said to him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?
၂၁ထိုအခါ ပေတရုသည်ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊ သခင်၊ ညီအစ်ကိုသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုပြစ်မှား၍ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သူ၏ အပြစ်ကို ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ်လွှတ်ရပါအံ့နည်း။ ခုနှစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် လွှတ်ရပါအံ့လောဟု မေးလျှောက်သော်၊ ယေရှုက၊ ခုနှစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင်လွှတ်ရမည် ငါမဆို။
22 Jesus saith to him, I say not to thee, until seven times, but until seventy times seven.
၂၂အကြိမ်ခုနှစ်ဆယ် ခုနှစ်လီမြောက်အောင် လွှတ်ရမည် ငါဆို၏။
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is likened to a king, who would settle accounts with his servants.
၂၃ထို့ကြောင့် ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သည်၊ မိမိကျွန်များတို့ကိုစာရင်းယူခြင်းငှာ အလိုရှိသောမင်းကြီး တ ဦးနှင့်တူ၏။
24 And when he had begun to reckon, there was brought to him one, who owed him ten thousand talents.
၂၄စာရင်းယူစဉ်တွင်၊ ငွေအခွက်တသိန်းကြွေးတင်သောသူတယောက်ကို ရှေ့တော်သို့ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
25 But as he was unable to pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, and his wife and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
၂၅ထိုသူသည် ကြွေးဆပ်ရန်မရှိသောကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်မှစ၍ သားမယားဥစ္စာရှိသမျှတို့ကိုရောင်း၍ ကြွေးကို ဆပ်စေဟု သူ၏သခင်စီရင်၏။
26 Then that servant fell down and did obeisance to him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
၂၆ထိုကျွန်သည်ညွတ်ပြပ်ဝပ်တွားလျက်၊သခင်၊ ကျွန်တော်ကိုသည်းခံတော်မူပါ။ ကြွေးရှိသမျှကို ဆပ်ပါ မည်ဟုလျှောက်လျှင်၊
27 And the lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
၂၇သူ၏သခင်သည် သနားခြင်းရှိသဖြင့် ကြွေးရှိသမျှကိုလွှတ်၍ချမ်းသာပေးလေ၏။
28 But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him a hundred denaries; and he laid hold of him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay what thou owest.
၂၈ထိုကျွန်သည်ထွက်သွားရာတွင် မိမိငွေဒေနာရိတရာကြွေးတင်သော ကျွန်ချင်းတယောက်ကိုတွေ့လျှင်၊ လည်ပင်းကိုကိုင်ညှစ်၍ ငါ့ငွေကိုဆပ်ပေးလော့ဟုဆို၏။
29 His fellow-servant then fell down and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee.
၂၉ထိုကျွန်ချင်းသည် ကျွေးရှင်၏ခြေရင်း၌ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက် ကျွန်တော်ကိုသည်းခံတော်မူပါ။ ကြွေးရှိသမျှကို ဆပ်ပါမည်ဟု တောင်းပန်သော်လည်း၊
30 And he would not; but went away and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
၃၀ငွေရှင်သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲသွား၍ ကြွေးကိုမဆပ်မှီတိုင်အောင် သူ့ကိုထောင်ထဲမှာလှောင်ထား၏။
31 Then his fellow-servants, seeing what was done, were greatly grieved; and went and told their lord all that had been done.
၃၁ထိုအမှုအရာကို အခြားသောကျွန်ချင်းတို့သည် မြင်လျှင် အလွန်နာကြည်းသောစိတ်နှင့်သွား၍၊ ပြုလေ သမျှတို့ကို မိမိတို့သခင်၌ ကြားလျှောက်ကြ၏။
32 Then his lord, having called him, saith to him, Thou wicked servant! All that debt I forgave thee because thou didst beseech me;
၃၂ထိုအခါ သခင်သည်ထိုကျွန်ကိုခေါ်၍၊ ဟယ် ဆိုးညစ်သောကျွန်၊ သင်သည်ငါ့ကိုတောင်းပန်သော ကြောင့် သင်၌တင်သမျှသောကြွေးကို ငါရှင်းလင်းစေ၏။
33 shouldst not thou also have had pity on thy fellow-servant, even as I had pity on thee?
၃၃ငါသည်သင့်ကိုသနားသကဲ့သို့ သင်သည်လည်း ကျွန်ချင်းကို မသနားအပ်သလောဟု ဆိုလျက်၊
34 And his lord was enraged, and delivered him to the inflicters of punishment, till he should pay all that was due to him.
၃၄အမျက်ထွက်၍ ကြွေးရှိသမျှကို မဆပ်မှီတိုင်အောင် အာဏာသားတို့လက်ကိုအပ်လေ၏။
35 So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.
၃၅သင်တို့သည်လည်း ညီအစ်ကိုအချင်းချင်းတို့ကို စိတ်နှလုံးပါလျက်အပြစ်မလွှတ်လျှင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော ငါ၏အဘသည် ထိုနည်းတူ သင်တို့ကိုစီရင်တော်မူလတံ့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
