Mark 1
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ;
Principio del evangelio de Jesu Cristo, Hijo de Dios.
2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “Lo! I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way;”
Como está escrito en los profetas: He aquí, yo envío a mi mensajero delante de tu faz, que apareje tu camino delante de ti.
3 “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths!”
Voz del que clama en el desierto: Aparejád el camino del Señor: hacéd derechas sus veredas.
4 John the Baptizer appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Bautizaba Juan en el desierto, y predicaba el bautismo de arrepentimiento para remisión de pecados.
5 And there went out to him all the country of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem and were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
Y salía a él todo el país de Judea, y los de Jerusalem; y eran todos bautizados por él en el río del Jordán, confesando sus pecados.
6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a leathern girdle about his loins, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
Y Juan andaba vestido de pelos de camello, y con un cinto de cuero al rededor de sus lomos; y comía langostas, y miel montés.
7 And he preached, saying, There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.
Y predicaba, diciendo: Viene en pos de mí el que es más poderoso que yo, al cual no soy digno de desatar encorvado la correa de sus zapatos.
8 I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.
Yo a la verdad os he bautizado con agua; mas él os bautizará con el Espíritu Santo.
9 And it came to pass that in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
Y aconteció en aquellos días, que Jesús vino de Nazaret de Galilea, y fue bautizado por Juan en el Jordán.
10 And immediately on coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens parted, and the Spirit descending as a dove upon him.
Y luego, subiendo del agua, vio abrirse los cielos, y al Espíritu, como paloma, que descendía sobre él.
11 And there was a voice from the heavens, “Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased.”
Y vino una voz de los cielos, que decía: Tú eres mi Hijo amado: en ti tomo contentamiento.
12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness.
Y luego el Espíritu le impele al desierto.
13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
Y estuvo allí en el desierto cuarenta días; y era tentado de Satanás; y estaba con las fieras; y los ángeles le servían.
14 But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the glad tidings of God,
Mas después que Juan fue entregado, Jesús vino a Galilea, predicando el evangelio del reino de Dios,
15 [[saying, ]] The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe the glad tidings.
Y diciendo: El tiempo es cumplido; y el reino de Dios está cerca: Arrepentíos, y creéd al evangelio.
16 And as he was passing along by the lake of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon dragging a net in the lake; for they were fishers.
Y andando junto a la mar de Galilea, vio a Simón, y a Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar, porque eran pescadores.
17 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will cause you to become fishers of men.
Y les dijo Jesús: Veníd en pos de mí, y haré que seáis pescadores de hombres.
18 And immediately they left their nets, and followed him.
Y luego, dejadas sus redes, le siguieron.
19 And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending the nets;
Y pasando de allí un poco más adelante, vio a Santiago, hijo de Zebedeo, y a Juan su hermano, también ellos en la nave, que aderezaban las redes.
20 and immediately he called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men, they went after him.
Y luego los llamó; y dejando a su padre Zebedeo en la nave con los jornaleros, fueron en pos de él.
21 And they enter Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath he was teaching in the synagogue.
Y entraron en Capernaum; y luego los sábados entrando en la sinagoga enseñaba.
22 And they were astonished at his teaching; for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
Y se pasmaban de su doctrina; porque los enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los escribas.
23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
Y había en la sinagoga de ellos un hombre con espíritu inmundo, el cual dio voces,
24 saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Thou hast come to destroy us; we know who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Diciendo: ¡Ah! ¿Qué tenemos nosotros que ver contigo, Jesús Nazareno? ¿Has venido a destruirnos? Te conozco quien eres, eres el Santo de Dios.
25 And Jesus rebuked him, [[saying, ]] Be silent, and come out of him.
Y riñóle Jesús, diciendo: Enmudece, y sal de él.
26 And the unclean spirit convulsing him, and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him.
Y haciéndole pedazos el espíritu inmundo, y clamando a gran voz, salió de él.
27 And they were all amazed, so that they questioned each other, saying, What is this? New teaching with authority; even the unclean spirits doth he command, and they obey him!
Y todos se maravillaron, de tal manera que inquirían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto? ¿Qué nueva doctrina es esta, que con autoridad aun a los espíritus inmundos manda, y le obedecen?
28 And immediately his fame spread abroad everywhere through the whole surrounding country of Galilee.
Y luego se divulgó su fama por todo el país al derredor de la Galilea.
29 And having come out of the synagogue, they immediately entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
Y luego salidos de la sinagoga, vinieron a casa de Simón y de Andrés, con Santiago y Juan.
30 And Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever; and they immediately speak to him about her.
Y la suegra de Simón estaba acostada con calentura; y le dijeron luego de ella.
31 And he went to her, and took her by the hand, and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she waited on them.
Entonces llegando él, la tomó de su mano, y la levantó; y luego la dejó la calentura, y les servía.
32 And in the evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all that were sick, and those who were possessed by demons;
Y cuando fue la tarde, como el sol se puso, traían a él todos los que tenían mal, y endemoniados.
33 and the whole city was assembled at the door.
Y toda la ciudad se juntó a la puerta.
34 And he healed many that were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.
Y sanó a muchos que estaban enfermos de diversas enfermedades; y echó fuera muchos demonios; y no dejaba hablar a los demonios porque le conocían.
35 And rising early, long before day, he went out, and withdrew into a desert place, and there prayed.
Y levantándose muy de mañana, aun muy oscuro, salió, y se fue a un lugar desierto, y allí oraba.
36 And Simon and those with him went in search of him,
Y le siguió Simón, y los que estaban con él.
37 and found him. And they say to him, All people are in search of thee.
Y hallándole, le dicen: Todos te buscan.
38 And he saith to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighboring towns, that I may preach there also; for, for this I came forth.
Y les dice: Vamos a las aldeas vecinas, para que predique también allí; porque para esto he venido.
39 And he went, preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out the demons.
Y predicaba en las sinagogas de ellos en toda la Galilea, y echaba fuera los demonios.
40 And there cometh a leper to him beseeching him, and kneeling down, saying to him, If thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me.
Y un leproso vino a él, rogándole; e hincada la rodilla, le dice: Si quieres, puedes limpiarme.
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith, I will; be thou cleansed.
Y Jesús teniendo misericordia de él, extendió su mano, y le tocó, y le dice: Quiero, sé limpio.
42 And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
Y habiendo él dicho esto, luego la lepra se fue de él, y fue limpio.
43 And sternly charging him, he immediately sent him away,
Y le encargó estrechamente, y luego le echó,
44 saying to him, See that thou say nothing to any one; but go, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
Y le dice: Mira que no digas a nadie nada; sino vé, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza lo que Moisés mandó para que les conste.
45 But he went away, and began to publish it constantly, and to spread the matter abroad, so that Jesus could no more enter a city openly, but was without in desert places; and they came to him from every quarter.
Y él salido, comenzó a publicar, y a divulgar grandemente el negocio, de manera que ya Jesús no podía entrar manifiestamente en la ciudad; mas estaba fuera en los lugares desiertos, y venían a él de todas partes.
