Mark 1
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ;
神の子イエス、キリストの福音の始。
2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “Lo! I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way;”
預言者イザヤの書に、『視よ、我なんぢの顏の前に、わが使を遣す、彼なんぢの道を設くべし。
3 “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths!”
荒野に呼はる者の聲す、「主の道を備へ、その路すぢを直くせよ」』と録されたる如く、
4 John the Baptizer appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
バプテスマのヨハネ出で、荒野にて罪の赦を得さする悔改のバプテスマを宣傳ふ。
5 And there went out to him all the country of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem and were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
ユダヤ全國またエルサレムの人々、みな其の許に出で來りて罪を言ひあらはし、ヨルダン川にてバプテスマを受けたり。
6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a leathern girdle about his loins, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
ヨハネは駱駝の毛織を著、腰に皮の帶して、蝗と野蜜とを食へり。
7 And he preached, saying, There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.
かれ宣傳へて言ふ『我よりも力ある者、わが後に來る。我は屈みてその鞋の紐をとくにも足らず、
8 I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.
我は水にて汝らにバプテスマを施せり。されど彼は聖 靈にてバプテスマを施さん』
9 And it came to pass that in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
その頃イエス、ガリラヤのナザレより來り、ヨルダンにてヨハネよりバプテスマを受け給ふ。
10 And immediately on coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens parted, and the Spirit descending as a dove upon him.
かくて水より上るをりしも、天さけゆき、御靈、鴿のごとく己に降るを見 給ふ。
11 And there was a voice from the heavens, “Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased.”
かつ天より聲 出づ『なんぢは我が愛しむ子なり、我なんぢを悦ぶ』
12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness.
かくて御靈ただちにイエスを荒野に逐ひやる。
13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
荒野にて四十 日の間サタンに試みられ、獸とともに居給ふ、御使たち之に事へぬ。
14 But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the glad tidings of God,
ヨハネの囚はれし後、イエス、ガリラヤに到り、神の福音を宣傳へて言ひ給ふ、
15 [[saying, ]] The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe the glad tidings.
『時は滿てり、神の國は近づけり、汝ら悔改めて福音を信ぜよ』
16 And as he was passing along by the lake of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon dragging a net in the lake; for they were fishers.
イエス、ガリラヤの海にそひて歩みゆき、シモンと其の兄弟アンデレとが、海に網うちをるを見 給ふ。かれらは漁人なり。
17 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will cause you to become fishers of men.
イエス言ひ給ふ『われに從ひきたれ、汝 等をして人を漁る者とならしめん』
18 And immediately they left their nets, and followed him.
彼ら直ちに網をすてて從へり。
19 And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending the nets;
少し進みゆきて、ゼベダイの子ヤコブとその兄弟ヨハネとを見 給ふ、彼らも舟にありて網を繕ひゐたり。
20 and immediately he called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men, they went after him.
直ちに呼び給へば、父ゼベダイを雇人とともに舟に遺して從ひゆけり。
21 And they enter Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath he was teaching in the synagogue.
かくて彼らカペナウムに到る、イエス直ちに安息 日に會堂にいりて教へ給ふ。
22 And they were astonished at his teaching; for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
人々その教に驚きあへり。それは學者の如くならず、權威ある者のごとく教へ給ふゆゑなり。
23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
時にその會堂に、穢れし靈に憑かれたる人あり、叫びて言ふ
24 saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Thou hast come to destroy us; we know who thou art, the Holy One of God.
『ナザレのイエスよ、我らは汝と何の關係あらんや、汝は我らを亡さんとて來給ふ。われは汝の誰なるを知る、神の聖者なり』
25 And Jesus rebuked him, [[saying, ]] Be silent, and come out of him.
イエス禁めて言ひ給ふ『默せ、その人を出でよ』
26 And the unclean spirit convulsing him, and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him.
穢れし靈その人を痙攣けさせ、大聲をあげて出づ。
27 And they were all amazed, so that they questioned each other, saying, What is this? New teaching with authority; even the unclean spirits doth he command, and they obey him!
人々みな驚き相 問ひて言ふ『これ何事ぞ、權威ある新しき教なるかな、穢れし靈すら命ずれば從ふ』
28 And immediately his fame spread abroad everywhere through the whole surrounding country of Galilee.
ここにイエスの噂あまねくガリラヤの四方に弘りたり。
29 And having come out of the synagogue, they immediately entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
會堂をいで、直ちにヤコブとヨハネとを伴ひて、シモン及びアンデレの家に入り給ふ。
30 And Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever; and they immediately speak to him about her.
シモンの外姑、熱をやみて臥しゐたれば、人々ただちに之をイエスに告ぐ。
31 And he went to her, and took her by the hand, and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she waited on them.
イエス往きて、その手をとり、起し給へば、熱さりて女かれらに事ふ。
32 And in the evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all that were sick, and those who were possessed by demons;
夕となり、日いりてのち、人々すべての病ある者・惡鬼に憑かれたる者をイエスに連れ來り、
33 and the whole city was assembled at the door.
全町こぞりて門に集る。
34 And he healed many that were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.
イエスさまざまの病を患ふ多くの人をいやし、多くの惡鬼を逐ひいだし、之に物 言ふことを免し給はず、惡鬼イエスを知るに因りてなり。
35 And rising early, long before day, he went out, and withdrew into a desert place, and there prayed.
朝まだき暗き程に、イエス起き出でて、寂しき處にゆき、其處にて祈りゐたまふ。
36 And Simon and those with him went in search of him,
シモン及び之と偕にをる者ども、その跡を慕ひゆき、
37 and found him. And they say to him, All people are in search of thee.
イエスに遇ひて言ふ『人みな汝を尋ぬ』
38 And he saith to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighboring towns, that I may preach there also; for, for this I came forth.
イエス言ひ給ふ『いざ最寄の村々に往かん、われ彼處にも教を宣ぶべし、我はこの爲に出で來りしなり』
39 And he went, preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out the demons.
遂にゆきて、徧くガリラヤの會堂にて教を宣べ、かつ惡鬼を逐ひ出し給へり。
40 And there cometh a leper to him beseeching him, and kneeling down, saying to him, If thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me.
一人の癩病人みもとに來り、跪づき請ひて言ふ『御意ならば、我を潔くなし給ふを得ん』
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith, I will; be thou cleansed.
イエス憫みて、手をのべ彼につけて『わが意なり、潔くなれ』と言ひ給へば、
42 And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
直ちに癩病さりて、その人きよまれり。
43 And sternly charging him, he immediately sent him away,
やがて彼を去らしめんとて、嚴しく戒めて言ひ給ふ
44 saying to him, See that thou say nothing to any one; but go, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
『つつしみて誰にも語るな、唯ゆきて己を祭司に見せ、モーセが命じたる物を汝の潔のために献げて、人々に證せよ』
45 But he went away, and began to publish it constantly, and to spread the matter abroad, so that Jesus could no more enter a city openly, but was without in desert places; and they came to him from every quarter.
されど彼いでて此の事を大に述べつたへ、徧く弘め始めたれば、この後イエスあらはに町に入りがたく、外の寂しき處に留りたまふ。人々 四方より御許に來れり。
