< Mark 7 >
1 And there come together to him the Pharisees, and some of the scribes, who came from Jerusalem;
VaFarisi navamwe vavadzidzisi vomurayiro vakanga vauya kuJerusarema vakaungana pana Jesu
2 and seeing some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed hands,
vakaona vamwe vavadzidzi vake vachidya zvokudya namaoko akanga ane “tsvina,” ndiko kuti, asina kushambwa.
3 (for the Pharisees, and all the Jews, unless they wash their hands often, do not eat, holding fast the tradition of the elders;
VaFarisi navaJudha vose havadyi kunze kwokunge vamboshamba maoko avo, vachichengeta tsika dzavakuru.
4 and on coming from the marketplace, unless they bathe, they do not eat; and there are many other things which they have received to hold, the dipping of cups, and pitchers, and brazen vessels; )
Pavanenge vadzoka kumusika, havadyi kunze kwokunge vashamba. Uye vanocherechedza dzimwe tsika zhinji, dzakadai sokushambidza mikombe, matende, nemidziyo yokuvirisa mvura.
5 then the Pharisees and scribes ask him, Why do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with defiled hands?
Saka vaFarisi navadzidzisi vomurayiro vakabvunza Jesu vakati, “Seiko vadzidzi venyu vachirega kurarama zviri maererano netsika dzavakuru, zvavanodya zvokudya zvavo ‘namaoko ane tsvina’?”
6 And he said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “This people honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Akapindura akati, “Isaya akataura zvakanaka paakaprofita pamusoro penyu imi vanyengeri; sezvazvakanyorwa zvichinzi: “‘Vanhu ava vanondikudza nemiromo yavo, asi mwoyo yavo iri kure neni.
7 But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
Vanondinamata pasina; dzidziso dzavo dzinongova mirayiro inodzidziswa navanhu.’
8 Laying aside, the commandment of God, ye hold fast the tradition of men.
Makasiya mirayiro yaMwari mukachengetedza tsika dzavanhu.”
9 And he said to them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition!
Uye akati kwavari, “Mune nzira chaiyo yokuisa parutivi nayo mirayiro yaMwari kuitira kuti mucherechedze tsika dzenyuwo!
10 For Moses said, “Honor thy father and thy mother;” and, “He that curseth father or mother, let him surely die.”
Nokuti Mozisi akati, ‘Kudza baba vako namai vako,’ uye ‘Munhu upi zvake achatuka baba vake kana mai vake anofanira kuurayiwa.’
11 But ye say, If a man say to his father or mother, Whatever thou mightst receive in aid from me is Corban, that is, a gift to God, [[he is not bound by the command. Thus]]
Asi imi munoti, kana munhu akati kuna baba kana mai vake, ‘Rubatsiro rupi zvarwo rwamungadaro makagamuchira kubva kwandiri iKobhani’ (ndiko kuti, chipo chakapirwa kuna Mwari),
12 ye suffer him no longer to do anything for his father or his mother;
ipapo hamuchamuregi achiitira baba kana mai vake chinhu chipi zvacho.
13 making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have handed down; and many such things ye do.
Nokudaro munoparadza shoko raMwari nokuda kwetsika dzenyu dzamakachengeta kusvika zvino. Uye munoita zvinhu zvizhinji zvakadaro.”
14 And again calling the multitude to him, he said to them, Hearken to me all of you, and understand.
Jesu akadanazve kwaari vanhu vazhinji akati kwavari, “Nditeererei, imi mose, uye munzwisise izvi.
15 Nothing that entereth into a man from without can defile him; but the things that come out of him are what defile a man.
Hakuna chinhu chinobva kunze ‘chinosvibisa’ munhu nokupinda maari. Asi icho chinobuda mumunhu ndicho chinoita kuti ‘asvibe.’
Kana munhu ane nzeve dzokunzwa, ngaanzwe.”
17 And when he had gone into the house from the crowd, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
Zvino akati abva pavanhu vazhinji uye apinda mumba, vadzidzi vake vakamubvunza pamusoro pomufananidzo uyu.
18 And he saith to them, Are ye too so without discernment? Do ye not understand that whatever thing from without entereth into a man, cannot defile him?
Akati, “Hamunzwisisi seiko? Hamuoni kuti hakuna chinhu chinopinda mumunhu chichibva kunze chinogona ‘kumusvibisa’?
19 because it entereth not into his heart, but into the stomach; and goeth out into the drain, which cleanseth all kinds of food.
Nokuti hazvipindi mumwoyo make asi mudumbu make, uyezve zvichizobuda mumuviri wake.” Nokutaura uku, Jesu akati zvokudya zvose zvakanaka.
20 And he said, That which cometh out of a man, that defileth a man.
Akaenderera mberi achiti, “Zvinobuda mumunhu ndizvo zvinomusvibisa.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, come forth evil thoughts, fornications,
Nokuti kubva mukati, kubva mumwoyo yavanhu ndimo munobuda mirangariro yakaipa, upombwe, kuba, kuuraya, ufeve,
22 thefts, murders, adulteries, covetousness, iniquities, deceit, wantonness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
ruchiva, nouipi, kunyengera, utere, godo, kureva, manyawi noupenzi.
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile a man.
Zvakaipa izvozvi zvose zvinobuda kubva mukati uye ‘zvinosvibisa munhu.’”
24 And rising up, he departed thence into the borders of Tyre; and entering into a house, he desired that no one should know it; but he could not escape notice.
Jesu akabva panzvimbo iyo akaenda pedyo neTire. Akapinda mumba akasada kuzivikanwa nomunhu; asi akanga asingagoni kuzvivanza.
25 But a woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, immediately hearing of him, came in, and fell at his feet.
Zvakaitika ndezvokuti, paakangonzwa nezvake, mukadzi aiva nomwanasikana akanga akabatwa nomweya wetsvina akauya akawira patsoka dzake.
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast out the demon from her daughter.
Mukadzi uyu aiva muGiriki, akaberekerwa muFonishia yomuSiria. Akakumbirisa Jesu kuti adzinge dhimoni mumwanasikana wake.
27 And he said to her, Let the children be filled first; for it is not well to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.
Jesu akati kwaari, “Vana vanofanira kutanga kudya zvavanoda, nokuti hazvina kunaka kutora chingwa chavana uchichikandira kumbwa dzavo.”
28 But she answered, and saith to him, Yea, Lord; even the little dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
Iye akapindura akati, “Hongu Ishe, asi kunyange imbwa dziri pasi petafura dzinodya zvimedu zvezvokudya zvavana wani.”
29 And he said to her, For this saying go thy way; the demon hath gone out of thy daughter.
Ipapo akati kwaari, “Nokuda kwemhinduro yakadai, enda hako; dhimoni rabva pamwanasikana wako.”
30 And going away to her house, she found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out.
Akadzokera kumba kwake akawana mwana wake avete pamubhedha, uye dhimoni raenda.
31 And again leaving the borders of Tyre, he came through Sidon to the lake of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of Decapolis.
Ipapo Jesu akabva kunzvimbo yeTire akaenda nokuSidhoni, akaburukira kuGungwa reGarirea uye nokudunhu reDhekapori.
32 And they bring to him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech, and beseech him to lay his hand upon him.
Ikoko vamwe vanhu vakauya kwaari nomurume akanga ari matsi uye asingagoni kunyatsotaura, uye vakamukumbira kwazvo kuti aise ruoko rwake pamusoro pomurume uyu.
33 And taking him aside from the multitude, he put his fingers into his ears, and having spit, touched his tongue;
Akati aenda naye parutivi, kure noruzhinji, Jesu akaisa minwe yake munzeve dzake. Ipapo akapfira mate akabata rurimi rwomurume uya.
34 and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
Akatarisa kudenga uye nokugomera kukuru akati kwaari, “Efata!” (kureva kuti, “Dziuka!”)
35 And his ears were opened; and the string of his tongue was immediately loosed, and he spoke plain.
Pakarepo, nzeve dzomurume uya dzakadziuka, rurimi rwake rukasunungurwa uye akatanga kutaura zvakanaka.
36 And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more did they publish it.
Jesu akavarayira kuti varege kutaurira kana munhu. Asi paakanyanya kuita izvozvo, ndipo pavakanyanya kutaura nezvazvo.
37 And they were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Vanhu vakashamiswa zvikuru kwazvo. Vakati, “Akaita zvinhu zvose nenzira yakanaka. Anoita kuti kunyange matsi dzinzwe uye nembeveve dzitaure.”
