< Mark 5 >
1 And they came to the other side of the lake, into the country of the Gerasenes.

6 And seeing Jesus afar off, he ran and bowed down before him,
Na akaabhoneje a Yeshu kwaataliya, gwabhabhutushile, gwapite kwaatindibhalila.
7 and cried out with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, do not torment me.
Kwa lilobhe lya utiya nigwashite, “Nkumbinga nndi mmwe a Yeshu bhanabhabho a Nnungu bha kunani kaje? Shonde shonde, kwa lina lya a Nnungu nnamboteshe!”
8 For he was saying to him, Unclean spirit, come out from the man.

9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he saith to him, Legion is my name; for we are many.
Bhai, a Yeshu gubhammushiye, “Bhandu bhakuushemanga gani?” Gwajangwile, “Lina lyangu ‘Likundi’ pabha putuli tubhabhagwinji.”
10 And he besought him much not to send them out of the country.
Lioka jwangali jwa mmbone jula, gwabhashondelesheye a Yeshu bhanaabhinganganje nshilambo mula.
11 Now there was there, by the mountain, a great herd of swine feeding.
Pa tome jakwe lyashinkupagwa likundi lya ngulubhe ilipitalya nshitumbi.
12 And they besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Bhai, ashimaoka bhala gubhaashondelesheyenje a Yeshu bhalinkutinji, “Ntupeleshe ku ngulubhe kula tukaajinjilanje.”
13 And he gave them leave. And the unclean spirits coming out, entered into the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep into the lake, about two thousand, and were drowned in the lake.
A Yeshu gubhaaleshilenje, nigubhapite kwaajinjilanga ashingulubhe bhala. Na likundi lyowe lya ngulubhe lya ishila elupu ibhili, guieleleshele nnikote shibhutuka mpaka guitumbushile nnitanda.
14 And they that fed them fled, and told the news in the city and in the country. And they came to see what had been done.

15 And they come to Jesus, and see him who had been possessed by demons, sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, —him who had had the legion; and they were afraid.

19 And he did not permit him, but said to him, Go to thy house to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and that he hath had compassion on thee.
Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhakanile. Ikabhe gubhammalanjile, “Ujende kunngwako, ukaabhalanjilanje ashaalongo ajako yowe ibhakutendele Bhakulungwa na shibhashite kukubhonela shiya.”
20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him; and all wondered.

A Yeshu bhakajombosheje na ntumbwi kubhuja kung'ambu, lugwinjili lukulungwa lwa bhandu lukwaagumbalilaga, gubhajimi nnyenje litanda.
22 And there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and seeing him, he fell at his feet,
Penepo gubhaishe bhakulungwa bhamo bha shinagogi bhashemwaga a Yailo. Bhakaabhoneje a Yeshu gubhaigwishiye pa makongono gabho,
23 and besought him much, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death; I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be saved and live.
gubhaashondelesheye bhalinkuti, “Mwali jwangu jwannung'una nnwele tome nawa. Shonde twende nkammishile makono genugo nkupinga alame.”
24 And he went with him; and a great multitude followed him, and pressed upon him.
Bhai, a Yeshu gubhalongene nabho. Na bhandunji bhabhagwinji gubhaakagwilenje, akuno bhalinokolananga nkwaabhandishila.
25 And a woman, who had had an issue of blood twelve years,

Bhashinkutenda nneyo, pabha bhashinkwiibheleketela bhayene kuti, “Ngwayape nngubho jabho, shiname.”
29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she perceived in her body that she was cured of her plague.
Shangupe nsholosholo gula ukupumulaga, gubhaibhweni nshiilu shabho kuti bhalamile shilwele shabho shila.
30 And Jesus immediately perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, turned round in the crowed, and said, Who touched my garments?
A Yeshu gubhaimanyi kuti gashikwashoka mashili. Bhai gubhalutendebhushile lugwinjili lula, gubhabhushiye, “Gani angwashiye nngubho jangu?”
31 And his disciples said to him, Thou seest the multitude pressing on thee, and dost thou say, Who touched me?
Bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaajangulenje, “Nnilola bhandunji shibhakuti kunngumbalila, nkubhuya bhuli gani ankwashiye?”
32 And he looked round to see her who had done this.
Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhapundile kuloleya bhammone atendile shenesho.
33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee well; go in peace, and be recovered from thy plague.
A Yeshu gubhaabhalanjile, “A mwali, ngulupai jenu jinnamiye. Njende kwa ulele, na shilwele shenu nnamile.”
35 While he was yet speaking, there came from the house I of the ruler of the synagogue some who said, Thy daughter is dead; why dost thou trouble the Teacher any further?
A Yeshu bhakanabhe pumula kubheleketa, bhandunji kukopoka kumui kwa a Yailo bhala gubhaikengene, nikwaalugulila, “Mwali jwenu awile. Ga bhuli kupunda kwaabhuya Bhaajiganya?”
36 And Jesus, overhearing those words, saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not; only believe.
Ikabheje a Yeshu bhakapilikaneje gubhabheleketenje gala, gubhaabhalanjile a Yailo, “Nnajogope, mmwe nkulupalilepe.”
37 And he suffered no one to follow him except Peter and James, and John the brother of James.

39 And going in, he saith to them, Why do ye make this confusion and weeping? The child is not dead, but is sleeping.
Gubhajinjile nnyumba, gubhaalugulilenje, “Pakubha nnajobhelanga na guta? Mwali jwangawa, ashigonape.”
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But putting them all out, he taketh the father of the child, and the mother, and those who were with him, and entereth where the child was.
Ikabheje bhalabhonji gubhaeshilenje. Bhai, gubhaakopoyenje bhowe palanga, gubhaatolile ainagwe na akwabhe mwali jula na bhaajiganywa bhabho bhatatu bhala, gubhajinjilenje kukati kwagonile mwali.

42 And immediately the damsel arose and walked; for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were greatly astonished.

43 And he charged them strictly that no one should know it, and bade that something should be given her to eat.
