Mark 5
1 And they came to the other side of the lake, into the country of the Gerasenes.
ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲘⲎⲢ ⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲈⲦⲬⲰⲢⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲄⲈⲢⲄⲈⲤⲎⲚⲞⲤ
2 And when he had come out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϤϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ
3 who had his dwelling in the tombs; and not even with a chain could any one bind him any longer;
ⲅ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤⲘⲀⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲔⲈϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲤⲞⲚϨϤ
4 because he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been snapped asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces; and no one could master him;
ⲇ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲀⲨⲤⲞⲚϨϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲞⲠ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲠⲈⲆⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤⲰⲖⲠ ⲚⲚⲒϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϦⲞⲘϦⲈⲘ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲠⲈⲆⲎⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲢⲆⲀⲘⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ
5 and continually, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself, with stones.
ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲈϪⲰⲢϨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϢⲰⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲰⲚⲒ.
6 And seeing Jesus afar off, he ran and bowed down before him,
ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϨⲒⲪⲞⲨⲈⲒ ⲀϤϬⲞϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ
7 and cried out with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, do not torment me.
ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲤⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀϦⲞⲔ ⲚⲈⲘⲎⲒ ϨⲰⲔ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦϬⲞⲤⲒ ϮⲦⲀⲢⲔⲞ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϮϬⲖⲀⲔ ⲚⲎⲒ.
8 For he was saying to him, Unclean spirit, come out from the man.
ⲏ̅ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲀⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he saith to him, Legion is my name; for we are many.
ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲈⲔⲢⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲖⲈⲄⲒⲰⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ
10 And he besought him much not to send them out of the country.
ⲓ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲬⲰⲢⲀ.
11 Now there was there, by the mountain, a great herd of swine feeding.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲚⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲈⲖⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲢⲒⲢ ⲈⲤⲞϢ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲤⲘⲞⲚⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ
12 And they besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒⲢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ
13 And he gave them leave. And the unclean spirits coming out, entered into the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep into the lake, about two thousand, and were drowned in the lake.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲀⲨϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲈϢⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϨⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲄⲈⲖⲎ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϪⲀϪⲢⲒⲘ ⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲈⲨⲈⲢ ϢⲞ ⲤⲚⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲰϪϨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲒⲞⲘ.
14 And they that fed them fled, and told the news in the city and in the country. And they came to see what had been done.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲨⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲪⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϪⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚϮⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲔⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ.
15 And they come to Jesus, and see him who had been possessed by demons, sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, —him who had had the legion; and they were afraid.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ϨⲀ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲈϤϨⲈⲘⲤⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲰⲤ ⲦⲞⲒ ϨⲒⲰⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤϨⲎⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲞϮ.
16 And they who saw it told them how it befell him that was possessed by the demons, and concerning the swine.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲒⲢⲒⲢ
17 And they began to beseech him to depart from their borders.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞϢ
18 And when he was going on board the boat, he that had been possessed by the demons besought him that be might be with him.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲀⲖⲎⲒ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ
19 And he did not permit him, but said to him, Go to thy house to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and that he hath had compassion on thee.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲬⲀϤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈⲔⲎⲒ ϨⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲀⲦⲀⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈⲀϤⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲀⲔ
20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him; and all wondered.
ⲕ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲰⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲘⲎϮ ⲚϮⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲀϤⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ
21 And when Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the ether side, a great multitude gathered about him; and he was by the lake.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲞⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲘⲎⲢ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲀⲨⲐⲰⲞⲨϮ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤⲞϢ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ⲠⲈ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ
22 And there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and seeing him, he fell at his feet,
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲒⲀⲒⲢⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲀϤϨⲒⲦϤ ϦⲀⲢⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ
23 and besought him much, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death; I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be saved and live.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲦⲀϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲀⲤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲪⲘⲞⲨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲬⲀ ⲦⲈⲔϪⲒϪ ⲈϪⲰⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲤⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲤⲰⲚϦ
24 And he went with him; and a great multitude followed him, and pressed upon him.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤⲞϢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲠⲈ.
25 And a woman, who had had an issue of blood twelve years,
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲀⲤⲈⲢ ⲒⲂ ⲚⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲚⲞϤ ϦⲀⲢⲞⲤ.
26 and had undergone much at the hands of many physicians, and spent all that she had, and was not at all benefited, but rather grew worse,
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϬⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲎⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϬⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈⲤϪⲈⲘϨⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲀⲤⲦϨⲞ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ.
27 having heard about Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲀⲤⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲪⲀϨⲞⲨ ⲀⲤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈϤϨⲂⲞⲤ
28 For she said, If I touch even his garments, I shall be made well.
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲚⲀⲤϪⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲚ ⲀⲒϢⲀⲚϬ ⲒⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲰⲤ ϮⲚⲀⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ.
29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she perceived in her body that she was cured of her plague.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲤ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϪⲈϮⲘⲞⲨⲘⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲤⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲈⲘⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲤⲤⲰⲘⲀ ϪⲈ ⲀⲤⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ϮⲘⲀⲤⲦⲒⲄⲜ
30 And Jesus immediately perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, turned round in the crowed, and said, Who touched my garments?
ⲗ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲈⲘⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚϦⲢⲎ ⲒⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲈϮϪⲞⲘ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲪⲞⲚϨϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲀϨⲂⲰⲤ
31 And his disciples said to him, Thou seest the multitude pressing on thee, and dost thou say, Who touched me?
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎ ⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲬⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲎⲒ.
32 And he looked round to see her who had done this.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ
33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ϮⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲤⲐⲈⲢⲦⲈⲢ ⲈⲤⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲤⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϨⲒⲦⲤ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲀⲢⲀⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲀϤ
34 And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee well; go in peace, and be recovered from thy plague.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲠⲈⲚⲀϨϮ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀϨⲘⲒ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲈϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎ ⲚⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲦⲈⲘⲀⲤⲦⲒⲄⲜ.
35 While he was yet speaking, there came from the house I of the ruler of the synagogue some who said, Thy daughter is dead; why dost thou trouble the Teacher any further?
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲈⲦⲒ ⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲨⲒ ϨⲀ ⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲦⲈⲔϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲈⲔϮϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ
36 And Jesus, overhearing those words, saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not; only believe.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲘⲞⲚⲞⲚ ⲚⲀϨϮ
37 And he suffered no one to follow him except Peter and James, and John the brother of James.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲬⲀ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲈϤⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲤⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ
38 And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he seeth a tumult, and people weeping and wailing greatly.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲠⲎⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϢⲐⲈⲢⲐⲰⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲢⲒⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨϢⲖⲎⲖⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ.
39 And going in, he saith to them, Why do ye make this confusion and weeping? The child is not dead, but is sleeping.
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲦⲈⲢⲐⲰⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲢⲒⲘⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲤⲚⲔⲞⲦ
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But putting them all out, he taketh the father of the child, and the mother, and those who were with him, and entereth where the child was.
ⲙ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲰⲂⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤϨⲒ ⲠⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀϤⲰⲖⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲘⲪⲒⲰⲦ ⲚϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈⲤⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲬⲎ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
41 And taking hold of the hand of the child, he saith to her, Talitha, kum; which is, when interpreted, Damsel, I say to thee, arise!
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦϪⲒϪ ⲚϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀⲖⲒⲐⲀ ⲔⲞⲨⲘ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲀⲒϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲞ ⲦⲰⲚⲒ
42 And immediately the damsel arose and walked; for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were greatly astonished.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲤ ⲀⲤⲦⲰⲚⲤ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲀⲤϦⲈⲚ ⲒⲂ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ
43 And he charged them strictly that no one should know it, and bade that something should be given her to eat.
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϮⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲚⲀⲤ.
