Mark 3
1 And he entered again into a synagogue; and there was a man there having a withered hand;
[Jesus] entrou outra vez numa sinagoga; e estava ali um homem que tinha uma mão definhada.
2 and they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him.
E prestavam atenção nele, se o curaria no sábado, para o acusarem.
3 And he saith to the man having the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
E [Jesus] disse ao homem que tinha a mão definhada: Levanta-te, e vem para o meio.
4 And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent.
E disse-lhes: É lícito no sábado fazer o bem, ou o mal? Salvar uma pessoa, ou matá-la? E mantiveram-se calados.
5 And looking round on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.
E olhando ao redor para eles com indignação, sentindo pena da dureza dos seus corações, disse ao homem: Estende a mão. E ele estendeu; e sua mão foi restaurada.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately had a consultation with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
Assim que os fariseus saíram, tiveram reunião com os herodianos contra ele, para combinarem sobre como o matariam.
7 And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake; and a great multitude from Galilee, and from Judaea followed;
E Jesus retirou-se com os seus discípulos para o mar; e seguiu-o uma grande multidão da Galileia, da Judeia,
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond the Jordan, and the people about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard what great things he was doing, came to him.
de Jerusalém, da Idumeia, dalém do Jordão, e das proximidades de Tiro e de Sidom; uma grande multidão, tendo ouvido quão grandes coisas fazia, vieram a ele.
9 And he gave direction to his disciples, that a boat should be in readiness for him because of the multitude, that they might not throng him.
E disse aos seus discípulos que um barquinho ficasse continuamente perto dele, por causa das multidões; para que não o apertassem.
10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon him to touch him.
Pois havia curado muitos, de maneira que todos quantos tinham algum mal lançavam-se sobre ele a fim de tocá-lo.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
E os espíritos imundos, quando o viam, prostravam-se diante dele, e exclamavam: Tu és o Filho de Deus.
12 And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.
Mas [Jesus] os repreendia muito, para que não manifestassem quem ele era.
13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth to him whom he would; and they came to him.
Ele subiu ao monte, e chamou para si os que quis; então vieram a ele.
14 And he appointed twelve to be with him, and whom he might send forth to preach,
E constituiu doze para que estivessem com ele, para enviá-los a pregar,
15 and to have authority to cast out demons. And he appointed the twelve,
para que tivessem poder de expulsar os demônios.
16 and Simon he surnamed Peter;
Eram eles: Simão, a quem pôs por nome Pedro;
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder;
Tiago [filho] de Zebedeu, e João, irmão de Tiago; e pôs-lhes por nome Boanerges, que significa “filhos do trovão”;
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon of Cana,
e André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé; Tiago [filho] de Alfeu; Tadeu; Simão o zelote;
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And he cometh into the house.
e Judas Iscariotes, o que o traiu.
20 And again a multitude cometh together, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
Quando [Jesus] foi para uma casa, outra vez se ajuntou uma multidão, de maneira que nem sequer podiam comer pão.
21 And his relations hearing of it went out to lay hold of him; for they said, He is beside himself.
Os seus [familiares], ao ouvirem isso, saíram para detê-lo, porque diziam: “Ele stá fora de si”.
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul; and, He casteth out the demons through the prince of the demons.
E os escribas que haviam descido de Jerusalém diziam: Ele tem Belzebu, e é pelo chefe dos demônios que expulsa demônios.
23 And calling them to him, he said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?
Então [Jesus] os chamou, e lhes disse por parábolas: Como pode Satanás expulsar Satanás?
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
Se algum reino estiver dividido contra si mesmo, tal reino não pode durar;
25 and if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;
e se alguma casa estiver dividida contra si mesma, tal casa não pode durar firme.
26 and if Satan rise up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end.
E se Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, e for dividido, não pode durar, mas tem fim.
27 Moreover, no one can enter into a strong man's house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
Ninguém pode roubar os bens do valente, quando se entra na casa dele, se antes não amarrar ao valente; depois disso roubará a sua casa.
28 Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme;
Em verdade vos digo que todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, e todas as blasfêmias com que blasfemarem;
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Pois diziam: “Ele tem espírito imundo”.
31 And his mother and his brothers came; and, standing without, sent to him, to call him.
Então chegaram a sua mãe e os seus irmãos; e estando de fora, mandaram chamá-lo.
32 And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say to him, Lo! thy mother and thy brothers and thy sisters are without, seeking for thee.
A multidão estava sentada ao redor dele. Então disseram-lhe: Eis que a tua mãe, os teus irmãos, e as tuas irmãs estão lá fora a te procurar.
33 And he answering saith to them, Who is my mother, and my brothers?
Ele lhes respondeu: Quem é a minha mãe e os meus irmãos?
34 And looking round on those who sat about him, he saith, Behold my mother and my brothers.
E, olhando em redor aos que estavam sentados perto dele, disse: Eis aqui minha mãe e meus irmãos.
35 Whoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Quem fizer a vontade de Deus, esse é meu irmão, irmã, e mãe.
