Mark 3
1 And he entered again into a synagogue; and there was a man there having a withered hand;
૧ઈસુ ફરી સભાસ્થાનમાં આવ્યા; અને ત્યાં એક માણસ હતો જેનો હાથ સુકાઈ ગયેલો હતો.
2 and they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him.
૨તે વિશ્રામવારે તેને સાજો કરશે કે નહિ, તે વિષે તેઓએ તેમના પર સતત નજર રાખી, એ માટે કે તેઓ તેમના પર દોષ મૂકી શકે.
3 And he saith to the man having the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
૩પેલા સુકાયેલા હાથવાળા માણસને ઈસુએ કહ્યું કે, ‘વચમાં ઊભો થા.’”
4 And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent.
૪અને તેમણે કહ્યું કે, ‘વિશ્રામવારે સારું કરવું કે ખોટું કરવું જોઈએ? જીવને બચાવવો કે મારી નાખવો, કયું ઉચિત છે?’ પણ તેઓ મૌન રહ્યા.
5 And looking round on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.
૫તેઓના હૃદયની કઠોરતાને લીધે તે દિલગીર થઈને ગુસ્સાસહિત ચોતરફ તેઓને જોઈને તે માણસને કહ્યું કે, ‘તારો હાથ લાંબો કર.’” તેણે તે લાંબો કર્યો; અને તેનો હાથ સાજો થયો.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately had a consultation with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
૬શી રીતે ઈસુને મારી નાખવા તે વિષે ફરોશીઓએ બહાર જઈને તરત હેરોદીઓની સાથે તેમની વિરુદ્ધ મનસૂબો કર્યો.
7 And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake; and a great multitude from Galilee, and from Judaea followed;
૭અને ઈસુ પોતાના શિષ્યો સહિત નીકળીને સમુદ્રની નજીકમાં ગયા; અને ગાલીલમાંથી ઘણાં લોકો તેમની પાછળ ગયા; તેમ જ યહૂદિયામાંથી
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond the Jordan, and the people about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard what great things he was doing, came to him.
૮તથા યરુશાલેમમાંથી, અદુમમાંથી, યર્દનને પેલે પારથી, તૂર તથા સિદોનની આસપાસના ઘણાં લોકો તેમણે જે જે કાર્યો કર્યા હતાં તે વિષે સાંભળીને તેમની પાસે આવ્યા.
9 And he gave direction to his disciples, that a boat should be in readiness for him because of the multitude, that they might not throng him.
૯લોકોથી પોતે દબાય નહિ, માટે તેમણે ભીડના કારણે પોતાને સારુ હોડી તૈયાર રાખવાનું પોતાના શિષ્યોને કહ્યું;
10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon him to touch him.
૧૦કેમ કે તેમણે ઘણાંને સાજાં કર્યાં હતાં અને તેથી જેટલાં માંદા હતાં તેટલાં તેમને અડકવા સારુ તેમના પર પડાપડી કરતાં હતાં.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
૧૧અશુદ્ધ આત્માઓએ જયારે તેમને જોયા ત્યારે તેઓ તેમને પગે પડ્યા તથા પોકારીને બોલ્યા કે, ‘તમે ઈશ્વરના દીકરા છો.’”
12 And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.
૧૨તેમણે તેઓને હુકમ કર્યો કે, ‘તમારે મને પ્રગટ કરવો નહિ.’”
13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth to him whom he would; and they came to him.
૧૩ઈસુ પહાડ પર ચઢ્યાં અને જેઓને તેમણે પસંદ કર્યા તેઓને તેમણે બોલાવ્યા; અને તેઓ તેમની પાસે આવ્યા.
14 And he appointed twelve to be with him, and whom he might send forth to preach,
૧૪ઈસુએ બાર પ્રેરિતોને નીમ્યા એ માટે કે તેઓ તેમની સાથે રહે અને તે તેઓને પ્રચાર કરવા મોકલે,
15 and to have authority to cast out demons. And he appointed the twelve,
૧૫અને તેઓ અધિકાર પામીને દુષ્ટાત્માઓને કાઢે.
16 and Simon he surnamed Peter;
૧૬સિમોનનું નામ તેમણે પિતર પાડ્યું.
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder;
૧૭તથા ઝબદીનો દીકરો યાકૂબ તથા યાકૂબનો ભાઈ યોહાન તેઓનું નામ તેમણે ‘બને-રગેસ’ પાડ્યું, એટલે કે ‘ગર્જનાના દીકરા;’
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon of Cana,
૧૮અને આન્દ્રિયા, ફિલિપ, બર્થોલ્મી, માથ્થી, થોમા, અલ્ફીનો દીકરો યાકૂબ, થદી, સિમોન જે અતિ ઝનૂની માણસ હતો
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And he cometh into the house.
૧૯તથા તેમને ધરપકડ કરનાર યહૂદા ઇશ્કારિયોત; એ બારને તેમણે નીમ્યા.
20 And again a multitude cometh together, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
૨૦પછી તે એક ઘરમાં આવ્યા જ્યાં એટલા બધા લોકો ભેગા થયા કે તેઓ રોટલી પણ ખાઈ ન શક્યા.
21 And his relations hearing of it went out to lay hold of him; for they said, He is beside himself.
૨૧તેમના સગાંઓ તે સાંભળીને તેમને પકડવા બહાર નીકળ્યાં; કેમ કે તેઓએ કહ્યું કે ‘તે અસ્થિર થઈ ગયો છે.’”
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul; and, He casteth out the demons through the prince of the demons.
૨૨જે શાસ્ત્રીઓ યરુશાલેમથી આવ્યા હતા તેઓએ કહ્યું કે, ‘તેનામાં બાલઝબૂલ છે અને દુષ્ટાત્માઓનાં સરદારની મદદથી તે દુષ્ટાત્માઓને કાઢે છે.’”
23 And calling them to him, he said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?
૨૩તેમણે તેઓને પાસે બોલાવીને દ્રષ્ટાંતોમાં કહ્યું કે, ‘શેતાન શેતાનને કેવી રીતે હાંકી કાઢશે?
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
૨૪જો કોઈ રાજ્ય પોતામાં ભાગલો પડે, તો તે રાજ્ય સ્થિર રહી શકતું નથી.
25 and if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;
૨૫જો કોઈ ઘરમાં ભાગલા પડે, તો તે ઘર સ્થિર રહી શકશે નહિ.
26 and if Satan rise up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end.
૨૬જો શેતાન પોતાની ખુદની સામે થયો હોય અને તેનામાં ફૂટ પડી હોય, તો તે નભી શકતો નથી; પણ તેનો અંત આવ્યો જાણવું.
27 Moreover, no one can enter into a strong man's house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
૨૭બળવાનના ઘરમાં પેસીને જો કોઈ પહેલાં તે બળવાનને ન બાંધે તો તે તેનો સામાન લૂંટી શકતો નથી; પણ તેને બાંધ્યા પછી તે તેને લૂંટી શકશે.
28 Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme;
૨૮હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, માણસોના દીકરાઓને અપરાધોની તથા જે દુર્ભાષણો તેઓ કરે તેની માફી મળશે.
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
૩૦કેમ કે તેઓ કહેતાં હતા કે તેને અશુદ્ધ આત્મા વળગેલો છે.
31 And his mother and his brothers came; and, standing without, sent to him, to call him.
૩૧ત્યારે તેમના ભાઈઓ તથા તેમની મા આવ્યાં અને બહાર ઊભા રહીને તેમને બોલાવવા તેમની પાસે માણસ મોકલ્યો.
32 And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say to him, Lo! thy mother and thy brothers and thy sisters are without, seeking for thee.
૩૨ઘણાં લોકો તેમની આસપાસ બેઠેલા હતા; અને તેઓએ તેમને કહ્યું કે, ‘જો તમારી મા તથા તમારા ભાઈઓ બહાર ઊભા છે અને તમને શોધે છે.’”
33 And he answering saith to them, Who is my mother, and my brothers?
૩૩તેમણે તેઓને ઉત્તર આપતાં કહ્યું કે, ‘મારી મા તથા મારા ભાઈઓ કોણ છે?’”
34 And looking round on those who sat about him, he saith, Behold my mother and my brothers.
૩૪જેઓ તેમની આસપાસ બેઠા હતા તેઓ તરફ ચારેબાજુ જોઈને તે કહે છે કે, ‘જુઓ, મારી મા તથા મારા ભાઈઓ.
35 Whoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
૩૫કેમ કે જે કોઈ ઈશ્વરની ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે કરશે તે જ મારો ભાઈ તથા મારી બહેન તથા મા છે.’”
