< Mark 3 >
1 And he entered again into a synagogue; and there was a man there having a withered hand;
ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ϣⲟⲩ⳿ⲱⲟⲩ.
2 and they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him.
ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲓⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
3 And he saith to the man having the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ϣⲟⲩ⳿ⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲛⲕ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏϯ.
4 And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent.
ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲥϣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ϣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲥ ϣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲑⲃⲉⲥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ.
5 And looking round on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲑⲱⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛⲥ ⲁⲥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately had a consultation with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲎ̇ⲣⲱⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲥ ϧⲁⲣⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ.
7 And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake; and a great multitude from Galilee, and from Judaea followed;
ⲍ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲛⲁⲭⲱⲣⲓⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲥⲕⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉϥⲟϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϯⲄⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉ⳿ⲁ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ⲁⲕⲟⲗⲟⲩⲑⲓⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲒⲟⲩⲇⲉ⳿ⲁ.
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond the Jordan, and the people about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard what great things he was doing, came to him.
ⲏ̅ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϨⲩⲇⲟⲩⲙⲉ⳿ⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲓⲙⲏⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲒⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕⲉⲙⲏϣ ⲉϥⲟϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁ Ⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧⲤⲓⲇⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ.
9 And he gave direction to his disciples, that a boat should be in readiness for him because of the multitude, that they might not throng him.
ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩϫⲟⲓ ⲙⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙϩⲉϫϩⲱϫϥ.
10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon him to touch him.
ⲓ̅ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁϥⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩϭⲓⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϣⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ Ⲡ̇ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲪϯ.
12 And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth to him whom he would; and they came to him.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩ⳿ⲁϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ.
14 And he appointed twelve to be with him, and whom he might send forth to preach,

15 and to have authority to cast out demons. And he appointed the twelve,
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲡⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϩⲓ ⲇⲉⲙⲱⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
16 and Simon he surnamed Peter;
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲤⲓⲙⲱⲛ ϫⲉ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ.
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder;
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲌⲉⲃⲉⲇⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲒⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ Ⲃⲟ⳿ⲁⲛⲉⲣⲅⲉⲥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯϧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲓ.
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon of Cana,

19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And he cometh into the house.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲡⲓⲒⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲱⲧⲏⲥ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ.
20 And again a multitude cometh together, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
ⲕ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲉⲙ ⲱⲓⲕ.
21 And his relations hearing of it went out to lay hold of him; for they said, He is beside himself.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁ ⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⲥⲓϩⲓ.
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul; and, He casteth out the demons through the prince of the demons.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲃⲉⲗⲍⲉⲃⲟⲩⲗ ⲉⲑⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲇⲉⲙⲱⲛ ⲁϥϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲇⲉⲙⲱⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
23 And calling them to him, he said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ϫⲉ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲫⲱϣ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲁⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
25 and if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;

26 and if Satan rise up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end.

27 Moreover, no one can enter into a strong man's house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.

28 Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme;

29 but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath no forgiveness forever, but is exposed to everlasting sin.— (aiōn , aiōnios )

30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
