Mark 2
1 And after some days he again entered Capernaum; and it was reported that he was in the house.
І знов увійшов у Капернаум через кілька днів; і розголошено, що Він у господї.
2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, even at the door; and he was speaking the word to them.
І зараз назбиралось багато, так що не було місця анї перед дверима, І проповідував Він їм слово.
3 And they come to him, bringing one that was palsied, borne by four men.
І приходять до Него, несучи розслабленого; несло його четверо.
4 And not being able to bring him to him on account of the crowd, they took off the roof where he was; and when they had broken an opening, they let down the bed whereon the palsied man lay.
І, не можучи приступити до Него за народом, розкрили стелю, де був; і, проламавши, спустили ліжко, в котрому лежав розслаблений.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith, saith to the palsied man, Son, thy sins are forgiven.
Бачивши ж Ісус віру їх, рече до розслабленого: Сину, оставляють ся тобі гріхи твої.
6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,
Були ж деякі з письменників, то там сиділи, і казали в серцях своїх:
7 Why doth this man speak thus? He blasphemeth; who can forgive sins but God only?
Шо за хулу сей так говорить? хто може оставляти гріхи, як тільки один Бог?
8 And Jesus immediately perceiving in his spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, saith to them, Why do ye reason thus in your hearts?
І зараз, постерігши Ісус духом своїм, що так мислять собі, рече до дих: На що се кажете в серцях ваших?
9 Which is easier? to say to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven? or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed and go?
Що легше? сказати розслабленому: Оставляють ся тобі гріхи твої, або сказати: Устань, і візьми постіль твою, та й ходи.
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, —he saith to the palsied man, —
От же, щоб ви знали, що Син чоловічий мав власть оставляти на землі гріхи, до розслабленого:
11 I say to thee, Arise, take up thy bed and go to thy house.
Тобі глаголю: Устань, і візьми постіль твою, та й іди до дому твого.
12 And he arose, and immediately took up the bed and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and gave glory to God, saying, We never saw it thus.
І встав зараз, і взявши постіль, вийшов перед усїма; так що здивувались усї, і прославляли Бога, говорячи: Що нїколи такого не бачили.
13 And he went forth again to the lake; and all the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
І вийшов знов над море; а ввесь народ пійшов до Него, й навчав їх.
14 And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the custom-house; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
І, йдучи мимо, побачив Левію Алфєєвого, сидячого на митниці, і рече йому: Йди слїдом за мною. І, вставши, пійшов слїдом за Ним.
15 And it happened that he was reclining at table in his house; and many publicans and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and scribes of the Pharisees were also following him.
І сталось, як сидів Він за столом у господі в него, посідало з Ісусом і учениками Його й багато митників та грішників; було бо їх багато, і йшли слїдом за Ним.
16 And when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
І бачивши письменники та Фарисеї, що Він їсть із митниками та грішниками, казали до учеників Його: Як се, що Він з митниками та грішниками їсть і пє?
17 And Jesus hearing it, saith to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick. I came not to call righteous men, but sinners.
І почувши Ісус, рече до них: Не треба здоровим лїкаря, а недужим. Не прийшов я звати праведників, а грішників до покаяння;
18 And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples fast not?
А були ученики Йоанові та Фарисеискі постниками; й приходять і кажуть Йому: Чого ученики Йоанові та Фарисейські постять, Твої ж ученики не постять?
19 And Jesus said to them, Can the companions of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
І рече їм Ісус: Чи можуть синове весїльні постити, як жених з ними? Доки мають із собою жениха, не можуть постити.
20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then will they fast in that day.
Прийдуть же дні, коли візьметься від них жених, і тоді постити муть в ті дні.
21 No one seweth a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment; for the new piece teareth away from the old garment, and a worse rent is made.
І ніхто не пришивав латки з нової тканини до старої одежини, ато нова латка урве старого, й гірша буде дїрка.
22 And no one putteth new wine into old skins; for the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins.
І ніхто не наливав нового вина в старі бурдюки, ато нове вино порозривав бурдюки, й вино витече й бурдюки пропадуть; нове ж вино в нові бурдюки наливати.
23 And it came to pass, that he was going through the grain-fields on the sabbath, and his disciples began, as they went along, to pluck the ears of grain.
І довелось переходити Йому в суботу через засіви; й почали ученики Його дорогу верстати, рвучи колоссє.
24 And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?
І казали до Него Фарисеї: Дивись, чого вони роблять у суботу, що не годить ся?
25 And he saith to them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, himself and they who were with him?
А Він рече до них: Чи нїколи не читали ви, що зробив Давид, як був у нужді і голодував він і ті, що були з ним?
26 how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high-priest, and ate the show-bread, which it is lawful for none but the priests to eat, and gave also to those who were with him?
Як увійшов він у Божий дом за Авиятара архиєрея, та й їв хлїби показні, що не годилось їсти, як тільки священикам, і дав і тим, що були з ним?
27 And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
І рече до них: Субота ради чоловіка постала, не чоловік задля суботи.
28 So that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
Тим Син чоловічий - Господь і суботи.
