Mark 2
1 And after some days he again entered Capernaum; and it was reported that he was in the house.
Και μεθ' ημέρας πάλιν εισήλθεν εις Καπερναούμ και ηκούσθη ότι είναι εις οίκον.
2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, even at the door; and he was speaking the word to them.
Και ευθύς συνήχθησαν πολλοί, ώστε δεν εχώρουν πλέον αυτούς ουδέ τα πρόθυρα· και εκήρυττεν εις αυτούς τον λόγον.
3 And they come to him, bringing one that was palsied, borne by four men.
Και έρχονται προς αυτόν φέροντες παραλυτικόν, βασταζόμενον υπό τεσσάρων·
4 And not being able to bring him to him on account of the crowd, they took off the roof where he was; and when they had broken an opening, they let down the bed whereon the palsied man lay.
και μη δυνάμενοι να πλησιάσωσιν εις αυτόν εξ αιτίας του όχλου, εχάλασαν την στέγην όπου ήτο, και διατρυπήσαντες καταβιβάζουσι τον κράββατον, εφ' ου κατέκειτο ο παραλυτικός.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith, saith to the palsied man, Son, thy sins are forgiven.
Ιδών δε ο Ιησούς την πίστιν αυτών, λέγει προς τον παραλυτικόν· Τέκνον, συγκεχωρημέναι είναι εις σε αι αμαρτίαι σου.
6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,
Ήσαν δε τινές των γραμματέων εκεί καθήμενοι και διαλογιζόμενοι εν ταις καρδίαις αυτών·
7 Why doth this man speak thus? He blasphemeth; who can forgive sins but God only?
Διά τι ούτος λαλεί τοιαύτας βλασφημίας; τις δύναται να συγχωρή αμαρτίας ειμή εις, ο Θεός;
8 And Jesus immediately perceiving in his spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, saith to them, Why do ye reason thus in your hearts?
Και ευθύς νοήσας ο Ιησούς διά του πνεύματος αυτού ότι ούτω διαλογίζονται καθ' εαυτούς, είπε προς αυτούς· Διά τι διαλογίζεσθε ταύτα εν ταις καρδίαις σας;
9 Which is easier? to say to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven? or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed and go?
τι είναι ευκολώτερον, να είπω προς τον παραλυτικόν, Συγκεχωρημέναι είναι αι αμαρτίαι σου, ή να είπω, Σηκώθητι και έπαρε τον κράββατόν σου και περιπάτει;
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, —he saith to the palsied man, —
αλλά διά να γνωρίσητε ότι έξουσίαν έχει ο Υιός του ανθρώπου επί της γης να συγχωρή αμαρτίας λέγει προς τον παραλυτικόν·
11 I say to thee, Arise, take up thy bed and go to thy house.
Προς σε λέγω, Σηκώθητι και έπαρε τον κράββατόν σου και ύπαγε εις τον οίκόν σου.
12 And he arose, and immediately took up the bed and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and gave glory to God, saying, We never saw it thus.
Και ηγέρθη ευθύς και σηκώσας τον κράββατον, εξήλθεν ενώπιον πάντων, ώστε εξεπλήττοντο πάντες και εδόξαζον τον Θεόν, λέγοντες ότι ουδέποτε είδομεν τοιαύτα.
13 And he went forth again to the lake; and all the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
Και εξήλθε πάλιν παρά την θάλασσαν· και πας ο όχλος ήρχετο προς αυτόν, και εδίδασκεν αυτούς.
14 And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the custom-house; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
Και διαβαίνων είδε Λευΐν τον του Αλφαίου καθήμενον εις το τελώνιον, και λέγει προς αυτόν· Ακολούθει με. Και σηκωθείς ηκολούθησεν αυτόν.
15 And it happened that he was reclining at table in his house; and many publicans and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and scribes of the Pharisees were also following him.
Και ενώ εκάθητο εις την τράπεζαν εν τη οικία αυτού, συνεκάθηντο και πολλοί τελώναι και αμαρτωλοί μετά του Ιησού και των μαθητών αυτού· διότι ήσαν πολλοί, και ηκολούθησαν αυτόν.
16 And when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
Οι δε γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι, ιδόντες αυτόν τρώγοντα μετά των τελωνών και αμαρτωλών, έλεγον προς τους μαθητάς αυτού· Διά τι μετά των τελωνών και αμαρτωλών τρώγει και πίνει;
17 And Jesus hearing it, saith to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick. I came not to call righteous men, but sinners.
Και ακούσας ο Ιησούς, λέγει προς αυτούς· Δεν έχουσι χρείαν ιατρού οι υγιαίνοντες, αλλ' οι πάσχοντες· δεν ήλθον διά να καλέσω δικαίους αλλά αμαρτωλούς εις μετάνοιαν.
18 And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples fast not?
Οι μαθηταί δε του Ιωάννου και οι των Φαρισαίων ενήστευον. Και έρχονται και λέγουσι προς αυτόν· Διά τι οι μαθηταί του Ιωάννου και οι των Φαρισαίων νηστεύουσιν, οι δε μαθηταί σου δεν νηστεύουσι;
19 And Jesus said to them, Can the companions of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
Και είπε προς αυτούς ο Ιησούς· Μήπως δύνανται οι υιοί του νυμφώνος, ενόσω ο νυμφίος είναι μετ' αυτών, να νηστεύωσιν; όσον καιρόν έχουσι τον νυμφίον μεθ' εαυτών, δεν δύνανται να νηστεύωσι·
20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then will they fast in that day.
θέλουσιν όμως ελθεί ημέραι, όταν αφαιρεθή απ' αυτών ο νυμφίος, και τότε θέλουσι νηστεύσει εν εκείναις ταις ημέραις.
21 No one seweth a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment; for the new piece teareth away from the old garment, and a worse rent is made.
Και ουδείς ράπτει επίρραμμα αγνάφου πανίου επί ιμάτιον παλαιόν· ει δε μη, το αναπλήρωμα αυτού το νέον αφαιρεί από του παλαιού, και γίνεται σχίσμα χειρότερον.
22 And no one putteth new wine into old skins; for the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins.
Και ουδείς βάλλει οίνον νέον εις ασκούς παλαιούς· ει δε μη, ο οίνος ο νέος διασχίζει τους ασκούς, και ο οίνος εκχέεται και οι ασκοί φθείρονται· αλλά πρέπει οίνος νέος να βάλληται εις ασκούς νέους.
23 And it came to pass, that he was going through the grain-fields on the sabbath, and his disciples began, as they went along, to pluck the ears of grain.
Και ότε διέβαινεν εν σαββάτω διά των σπαρτών, οι μαθηταί αυτού, ενώ ώδευον, ήρχισαν να ανασπώσι τα αστάχυα.
24 And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?
Και οι Φαρισαίοι έλεγον προς αυτόν· Ιδού, διά τι πράττουσιν εν τοις σάββασιν εκείνο, το οποίον δεν συγχωρείται;
25 And he saith to them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, himself and they who were with him?
Και αυτός έλεγε προς αυτούς· Ποτέ δεν ανεγνώσατε τι έπραξεν ο Δαβίδ, ότε έλαβε χρείαν και επείνασεν αυτός και οι μετ' αυτού;
26 how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high-priest, and ate the show-bread, which it is lawful for none but the priests to eat, and gave also to those who were with him?
πως εισήλθεν εις τον οίκον του Θεού επί Αβιάθαρ του αρχιερέως, και έφαγε τους άρτους της προθέσεως, τους οποίους δεν είναι συγκεχωρημένον ειμή εις τους ιερείς να φάγωσι, και έδωκε και εις τους όντας μετ' αυτού;
27 And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
Και έλεγε προς αυτούς· το σάββατον έγεινε διά τον άνθρωπον, ουχί ο άνθρωπος διά το σάββατον·
28 So that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
ώστε ο Υιός του ανθρώπου κύριος είναι και του σαββάτου.
