< Mark 2 >
1 And after some days he again entered Capernaum; and it was reported that he was in the house.
2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, even at the door; and he was speaking the word to them.
Aƒea me yɔ ale gbegbe be nɔƒe aɖeke meganɔ ʋɔtrua nu hã o.
3 And they come to him, bringing one that was palsied, borne by four men.
Sẽe la, ŋutsu ene aɖewo kɔ lãmetututɔ aɖe ɖe aba dzi gbɔna Yesu gbɔe.
4 And not being able to bring him to him on account of the crowd, they took off the roof where he was; and when they had broken an opening, they let down the bed whereon the palsied man lay.
Ke le amewo ƒe agbɔsɔsɔ ta la, womete ŋu ɖo egbɔ o. Le esia ta woyi ɖaɖe do ɖe xɔ si me Yesu nɔ la tame, heɖiɖi dɔnɔ la kple eƒe aba ɖe ekɔme.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith, saith to the palsied man, Son, thy sins are forgiven.

6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,
Ke Yudatɔwo ƒe agbalẽfiala siwo nɔ afi ma la gblɔ le woƒe dzi me be,
7 Why doth this man speak thus? He blasphemeth; who can forgive sins but God only?
“Nu ka! Ame sia gblɔ busunya! Ɖe wòbu be Mawue yenyea? Menya be Mawu ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ koe ate ŋu atsɔ nu vɔ̃wo ake oa?”
8 And Jesus immediately perceiving in his spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, saith to them, Why do ye reason thus in your hearts?
9 Which is easier? to say to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven? or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed and go?
Kae bɔbɔ wu, be woagblɔ na lãmetututɔ la be, ‘Wotsɔ wò nu vɔ̃wo ke wò loo alo woagblɔ nɛ be, “Tso, kɔ wò aba ne nàzɔ azɔli?”’
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, —he saith to the palsied man, —
Be miadze sii be wona ŋusẽ Amegbetɔ Vi la be wòatsɔ nu vɔ̃ ake le anyigba dzi.” Egblɔ na lãmetututɔ la be,
11 I say to thee, Arise, take up thy bed and go to thy house.
“Mele egblɔm na wò be tsi tre! Ŋlɔ wò aba nàyi aƒe me!”
12 And he arose, and immediately took up the bed and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and gave glory to God, saying, We never saw it thus.
Ŋutsu la tso enumake, kɔ eƒe aba, eye wòzɔ to ameawo dome dzo. Ameawo katã ƒe nu ku. Wokafu Mawu, eye wogblɔ be, “Míekpɔ naneke teƒe alea kpɔ o!”
13 And he went forth again to the lake; and all the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
Yesu gado go yi ƒuta, eye wòfia nu ameha si kplɔe ɖo la.
14 And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the custom-house; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
Esi wòzɔ yina la, eva ke ɖe Levi, Alfeo ƒe vi ŋu wònɔ anyi ɖe dugadzɔƒe. Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Va dze yonyeme.” Levi tso enumake, eye wòdze Yesu yome.
15 And it happened that he was reclining at table in his house; and many publicans and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and scribes of the Pharisees were also following him.
Le fiẽ me la, Levi kpe Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo be woava ɖu nu le yeƒe aƒe me. Dugadzɔlawo kple nu vɔ̃ wɔla geɖewo hã nɔ ame siwo wòkpe la dome, elabena ame siawo ƒomevi hã nɔ Yesu yome.
16 And when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
17 And Jesus hearing it, saith to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick. I came not to call righteous men, but sinners.
Menye ame dzɔdzɔewo ta meva ɖo o, ke boŋ nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo ta, be woadzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ.”
18 And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples fast not?
Yohanes ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo kple Farisitɔwo tsia nu dɔna ɣe aɖewo ɣi. Gbe ɖeka esi wogatsi nu dɔ alea la, ame aɖewo va Yesu gbɔ va bia nu si ta eya ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo metsia nu dɔna o ɖo.
19 And Jesus said to them, Can the companions of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ɖe wòle be ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ xɔlɔ̃wo natsi nu adɔ, agbe nuɖuɖu le eƒe srɔ̃ɖekplɔ̃ ŋua? Gbeɖe, zi ale si ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la le wo gbɔ ko la, womatsi nu adɔ o
20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then will they fast in that day.
Gake ŋkeke aɖe li gbɔna, esi wole ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la kplɔ ge le wo gbɔ, ale woatsi nu adɔ.
21 No one seweth a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment; for the new piece teareth away from the old garment, and a worse rent is made.

22 And no one putteth new wine into old skins; for the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins.

23 And it came to pass, that he was going through the grain-fields on the sabbath, and his disciples began, as they went along, to pluck the ears of grain.
Gbe ɖeka le Dzudzɔgbe dzi esi Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo zɔ to bligble aɖe me yina la, nusrɔ̃lawo ŋe bli aɖewo heɖu.
24 And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?

25 And he saith to them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, himself and they who were with him?
Eɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ɖe miexlẽ nu si David kple eŋumewo wɔ, esi dɔ wu wo, eye woɖo xaxa me kpɔ oa?

Esi Abiata nye nunɔlagã la, David yi ɖe Mawu ƒe aƒe la me eye wòtsɔ abolo tɔxɛ si wotsɔ ɖo Mawu ŋkume la, eye eya kple etɔwo mae heɖu, togbɔ be mele se nu be ame aɖeke naɖu abolo sia o, negbe nunɔlawo ko.”
27 And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
Egblɔ yi edzi be, “Dzudzɔgbe ŋkekea la, ɖe woɖoe anyi be wòaɖe vi na ame, menye be ame nazu kluvi na Dzudzɔgbe ŋkeke la o.
28 So that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
