Mark 16
1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
Şabat Günü geçince, Mecdelli Meryem, Yakup'un annesi Meryem ve Salome gidip İsa'nın cesedine sürmek üzere baharat satın aldılar.
2 And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb at the rising of the sun.
Haftanın ilk günü sabah çok erkenden, güneşin doğuşuyla birlikte mezara gittiler.
3 And they said to one another, Who will roll away for us the stone from the door of the tomb?
Aralarında, “Mezarın girişindeki taşı bizim için kim yana yuvarlayacak?” diye konuşuyorlardı.
4 And looking up they see that the stone had been rolled back; for it was very large.
Başlarını kaldırıp bakınca, o kocaman taşın yana yuvarlanmış olduğunu gördüler.
5 And they entered the tomb, and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
Mezara girip sağ tarafta, beyaz kaftan giyinmiş genç bir adamın oturduğunu görünce çok şaşırdılar.
6 But he saith to them, Be not affrighted; ye seek Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified; he hath risen; he is not here; behold the place where they laid him.
Adam onlara, “Şaşırmayın!” dedi. “Çarmıha gerilen Nasıralı İsa'yı arıyorsunuz. O dirildi, burada yok. İşte O'nu yatırdıkları yer.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he is going before you into Galilee; there ye will see him, as he said to you.
Şimdi öğrencilerine ve Petrus'a gidip şöyle deyin: ‘İsa sizden önce Celile'ye gidiyor. Size bildirdiği gibi, kendisini orada göreceksiniz.’”
8 And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and amazement had seized them, and they said nothing to any one; for they were terrified.
Kadınlar mezardan çıkıp kaçtılar. Onları bir titreme, bir şaşkınlık almıştı. Korkularından kimseye bir şey söylemediler.

10 She went and reported it to those who had been with him, who were mourning and weeping.
Meryem gitti, İsa'yla bulunmuş olan, şimdiyse yas tutup gözyaşı döken öğrencilerine haberi verdi.
11 And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, did not believe.
Ne var ki onlar, İsa'nın yaşadığını, Meryem'e göründüğünü duyunca inanmadılar.
12 After this, he manifested himself in another form to two of them as they walked, going into the country.
Bundan sonra İsa kırlara doğru yürümekte olan öğrencilerinden ikisine değişik bir biçimde göründü.
13 And they went and reported it to the rest; and even them they did not believe.
Bunlar geri dönüp öbürlerine haber verdiler, ama öbürleri bunlara da inanmadılar.
14 Afterward he manifested himself to the eleven themselves, as they were reclining at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
İsa daha sonra, sofrada otururlarken Onbirler'e göründü. Onları imansızlıklarından ve yüreklerinin duygusuzluğundan ötürü azarladı. Çünkü kendisini diri görenlere inanmamışlardı.
15 And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the glad tidings to the whole creation.
İsa onlara şöyle buyurdu: “Dünyanın her yanına gidin, Müjde'yi bütün yaratılışa duyurun.
16 He that believeth and is baptized will be saved; but he that doth not believe will be condemned.
İman edip vaftiz olan kurtulacak, iman etmeyen ise hüküm giyecek.
17 And these signs will accompany believers: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
İman edenlerle birlikte görülecek belirtiler şunlardır: Benim adımla cinleri kovacaklar, yeni dillerle konuşacaklar, yılanları elleriyle tutacaklar. Öldürücü bir zehir içseler bile, zarar görmeyecekler. Ellerini hastaların üzerine koyacaklar ve hastalar iyileşecek.”
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.
19 So then, the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down on the right hand of God;
Rab İsa, onlara bu sözleri söyledikten sonra göğe alındı ve Tanrı'nın sağında oturdu.
20 and they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs which followed it.]]
Öğrencileri de gidip Tanrı sözünü her yere yaydılar. Rab onlarla birlikte çalışıyor, görülen belirtilerle sözünü doğruluyordu.
