Mark 16
1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
Ko je šabat minil, so Marija Magdalena in Marija, Jakobova mati in Salóma kupile prijetne dišave, da bi lahko prišle ter ga pomazilile.
2 And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb at the rising of the sun.
In zelo zgodaj zjutraj, prvega dne v tednu, so ob sončnem vzhodu prišle k mavzoleju.
3 And they said to one another, Who will roll away for us the stone from the door of the tomb?
In med seboj so govorile: »Kdo nam bo odvalil kamen proč izpred vrat mavzoleja?«
4 And looking up they see that the stone had been rolled back; for it was very large.
Ko pa so pogledale, so videle, da je bil kamen odvaljen proč, kajti bil je zelo velik.
5 And they entered the tomb, and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
In vstopajoč v mavzolej, so zagledale mladeniča, ki je sedel na desni strani, oblečenega v dolgo belo obleko; in bile so zgrožene.
6 But he saith to them, Be not affrighted; ye seek Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified; he hath risen; he is not here; behold the place where they laid him.
On pa jim reče: »Ne bodite zgrožene. Ve iščete Jezusa Nazarečana, ki je bil križan. Obujen je, ni ga tukaj. Poglejte prostor, kamor so ga položili.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he is going before you into Galilee; there ye will see him, as he said to you.
Toda pojdite svojo pot, povejte njegovim učencem in Petru, da gre pred vami v Galilejo; tam ga boste videli, kakor vam je rekel.«
8 And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and amazement had seized them, and they said nothing to any one; for they were terrified.
In hitro so odšle ven in pobegnile od mavzoleja, kajti trepetale so in bile osuple niti niso ničesar povedale nobenemu človeku, kajti bile so prestrašene.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) (The remaining twelve verses, according to Tischendorf and others, made originally no part of Mark's Gospel. As the passage was added very early, however, since it is referred to by Irenaeus in the latter part of the second century, it is here given, as an appendix.) [[And having risen early, on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary the Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons.

10 She went and reported it to those who had been with him, who were mourning and weeping.
In odšla je ter povedala tem, ki so bili z njim, ki so žalovali in jokali.
11 And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, did not believe.
In ko so slišali, da je bil živ in da ga je videla, niso verovali.
12 After this, he manifested himself in another form to two of them as they walked, going into the country.
Nató se je v drugi obliki prikazal dvema izmed njih, ki sta hodila in šla na deželo.
13 And they went and reported it to the rest; and even them they did not believe.
In odšla sta ter to povedala preostalim. Niti njima niso verovali.
14 Afterward he manifested himself to the eleven themselves, as they were reclining at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Potem se je prikazal enajsterim, ko so sedeli pri obedu in jih oštel zaradi njihove nevere in trdote srca, ker niso verjeli tem, ki so ga videli potem, ko je bil obujen.
15 And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the glad tidings to the whole creation.
In rekel jim je: »Pojdite po vsem svetu in oznanite evangelij vsakemu ustvarjenemu bitju.
16 He that believeth and is baptized will be saved; but he that doth not believe will be condemned.
Kdor veruje in je krščen, bo rešen; toda kdor ne veruje, bo obsojen.
17 And these signs will accompany believers: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
In ta znamenja bodo spremljala tiste, ki verujejo: ›V mojem imenu bodo izganjali hudiče, govorili bodo z novimi jeziki,
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.
dvigali bodo kače in če popijejo kakršnokoli smrtonosno stvar, jim ta ne bo škodila; polagali bodo roke na bolne in ti bodo ozdraveli.‹«
19 So then, the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down on the right hand of God;
Tako je bil potem, ko jim je Gospod govoril, sprejet gor v nebo in je sédel na Božjo desnico.
20 and they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs which followed it.]]
Oni pa so šli naprej ter povsod oznanjali in Gospod je delal z njimi in besedo potrjeval s spremljajočimi znamenji. Amen.
