Luke 9
1 And he called together the twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
၁တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသော တပည့် တော်တို့ကို စုဝေး စေတော်မူပြီးမှ ၊ နတ်ဆိုး အပေါင်း တို့ကို နိုင်သောတန်ခိုး နှင့် အနာ ရောဂါတို့ကို ငြိမ်း စေခြင်းငှာအခွင့် တန်ခိုးကို ပေး တော်မူ၏။
2 And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal.
၂ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော်အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြော စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း ၊ လူနာ တို့ကို ချမ်းသာ စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်းစေလွှတ် တော်မူ၍ ၊
3 And he said to them, Take nothing for the journey, neither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money, nor have two coats apiece.
၃သင်တို့သည် လမ်း ခရီးဘို့ အဘယ် အရာကိုမျှမယူ ကြနှင့်။ တောင်ဝေး ၊ လွယ်အိတ် ၊ မုန့် ၊ ငွေ ကိုမ ယူကြ နှင့်။ အင်္ကျီ နှစ် ထည်ကိုလည်း မ ပါ စေကြနှင့်။
4 And into whatever house ye enter, there abide, and from it take your departure.
၄မည်သည့် အိမ် သို့ ဝင် လျှင် ထို အိမ်တွင် ထို အရပ်မှမထွက် မသွားမှီတိုင်အောင်နေ ကြလော့။ အကြင်သူ တို့သည် သင် တို့အားဧည့်သည် ဝတ်ကို မ ပြုဘဲနေ၏။
5 And whoever shall not receive you, shake off, when ye leave that city, even the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.
၅ထို သူတို့နေရာမြို့ မှ ထွက်သွား စဉ်၊ သူ တို့တစ်ဘက် ၌ သက်သေ ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှာ သင် တို့၏ခြေဘဝါး မှ မြေမှုန့် ကို ခါ လိုက်ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
6 And they departed, and went through the towns publishing the glad tidings, and performing cures everywhere.
၆တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ထွက်သွား ၍ ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို ဟောလျက် ၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရပ် တို့၌ အနာ ရောဂါကိုငြိမ်းစေလျက်၊ မြို့ရွာ တို့တွင် ဒေသစာရီ လှည့်လည် ကြ၏။7
7 And Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was taking place, and was perplexed; because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead;
၇ယေရှုပြု တော်မူသမျှ တို့ကို စော်ဘွား ဟေရုဒ် သည်ကြား လျှင် တွေးတော သောစိတ်ရှိ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ လူအချို့ က၊ ယောဟန် သည် သေ ခြင်းမှ ထမြောက် လေပြီဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
8 and by some, that Elijah had appeared; and by others, that one of the old prophets had risen.
၈အချို့ ကဧလိယ ပေါ်ထွန်း ပြီဟု ဆိုကြ၏။ အချို့ ကရှေး ပရောဖက် တပါးပါး ထ ပြန်ပြီဟုဆိုကြ၏။
9 But Herod said, John I beheaded; but who is this, about whom I hear such things? And he sought to see him.
၉ဟေရုဒ် မင်းကလည်း ၊ ယောဟန် ၏လည်ပင်း ကို ငါ ဖြတ်လေပြီ။ ဤမျှလောက် သောသိတင်း ကို ငါကြား ရသော ဤ သူကား အဘယ်သူ နည်းဟုဆိုလျက်ယေရှု ကို မြင် ခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ ၏။
10 And the apostles returned and told him what they had done; and taking them with him, he withdrew privately to a city called Bethsaida.
၁၀တမန်တော် တို့သည် အထံ တော်သို့ပြန်လာ ၍ မိမိတို့ပြု သမျှ တို့ကို ကြားလျှောက် ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် သူ တို့ကိုခေါ် ၍ ၊ ဗက်ဇဲဒ မြို့နယ် အတွင်း တော၌ဆိတ်ကွယ် ရာအရပ်သို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏။ လူ အစုအဝေးတို့ သည် သိ လျှင် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏။
11 But the multitudes, when they knew it, followed him; and he welcomed them, and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.
၁၁ထိုလူ များကို လက်ခံ တော်မူလျက် ၊ ဘုရားသခင့် နိုင်ငံ တော်၏အကြောင်း ကို ဟောပြော ၍၊ နာ သော သူ တို့ကို ချမ်းသာ ပေးတော်မူ၏။
12 And when the day began to decline, the twelve came and said to him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages around, and the open country, and lodge, and get food; for we are here in a desert place.
၁၂မိုဃ်း ချုပ် သောအခါ တကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသောသူ တို့သည် ချဉ်းကပ် လျက်၊ လူ များတို့သည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ရွာ ဇနပုဒ် သို့ သွား ၍ ၊ အိပ်ရာ ၊ စားစရာ ကို ရှာ စေခြင်းငှာ အခွင့် ပေးတော်မူပါ။ ဤ အရပ်သည် တော အရပ် ဖြစ် ပါ၏ ဟု လျှောက် ကြလျှင် ၊
13 But he said to them, Do ye give them food. And they said, We have not more than five loaves and two fishes, unless we ourselves should go and buy food for l all these people.
၁၃ကိုယ်တော်က၊ သူ တို့စားစရာ ဘို့ သင် တို့ပေး ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့ကလည်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည်သွား ၍ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့စားစရာ ဘို့ မ ဝယ် လျှင် ၊ မုန့် ငါး လုံးနှင့် ငါး နှစ် ကောင်မှတပါး အဘယ် စားစရာမျှ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၌ မရှိ ပါဟုလျှောက် ကြ၏။
14 They were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them lie down in companies of fifty.
၁၄ထိုသို့လျှောက်သည်အကြောင်း ကား၊ လူ ငါးထောင် ခန့် မျှရှိ သတည်း။ ထိုအခါ လူ များတို့ကို တစ်စုလျှင် ငါးဆယ် စီ အစုစု လျောင်း ကြစေ ဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိ၏။
15 And they did so, and made them all lie down.
၁၅တပည့် တော်တို့သည် အမိန့်တော်အတိုင်း ပြု ၍ ၊ လူအပေါင်း တို့ကို လျောင်း စေပြီးလျှင် ၊
16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and broke and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.
၁၆ယေရှုသည် မုန့် ငါး လုံးနှင့် ငါး နှစ် ကောင်ကိုယူ ၍ ကောင်းကင် သို့ ကြည့်မျှော် လျက်၊ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှ မုန့်ကိုဖဲ့ ၍ လူ များရှေ့၌ ထည့် စေခြင်းငှာတပည့် တော်တို့အားပေး တော်မူ၏။
17 And they ate, and were all filled; and what remained to them of fragments was taken up, twelve baskets.
၁၇လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် စား ၍ ဝ ကြပြီးမှ ကြွင်းရစ် သောအကျိုးအပဲ့ ကိုကောက်သိမ်း ၍ တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ် တောင်း အပြည့်ရကြ၏။
18 And it came to pass as he was in a private place praying, that his disciples were with him; and he asked them, saying, Who do the multitudes say that I am?
၁၈တရံရောအခါ ၊ ယေရှု သည် တပည့် တော်တို့နှင့်တကွ ဆိတ်ကွယ် ရာအရပ်၌ ဆုတောင်း တော်မူစဉ်၊ လူ များတို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုအဘယ်သူ ဖြစ် သည်ကို ဆို ကြသနည်း ဟု မေးမြန်း တော်မူလျှင် ၊
19 And they answering said, John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and others, that one of the old prophets hath risen.
၁၉လူအချို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဗတ္တိဇံ ဆရာ ယောဟန် ဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အချို့ က၊ ဧလိယ ဖြစ်သည် ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အချို့ က၊ ရှေး ပရောဖက် တပါးပါးထ ပြန်သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ဆို ကြပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် ကြသော်၊
20 And he said to them, But who do ye say that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
၂၀သင် တို့လည်း ငါ့ ကို အဘယ်သူ ဖြစ် သည်ဆို ကြသနည်း ဟု မေးမြန်း တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ပေတရု က၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ခရစ်တော် ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
21 But he strictly charged them, and commanded them to tell this to no one;
၂၁ထို အကြောင်းကို အဘယ်သူ အားမျှ မပြော စိမ့်သောငှာတပည့် တော်တို့ကို ကြပ်တည်း စွာ ပညတ် တော်မူ၏။
22 saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be put to death, and rise again on the third day.
၂၂ထိုမှတပါး၊ လူ သား သည် များစွာ ခံရ မည်။ လူ အကြီးအကဲ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့၏ ငြင်းပယ် ခြင်းကို၎င်း ၊ အသေ သတ်ခြင်းကို၎င်းခံရမည်။ သုံး ရက်မြောက်သောနေ့ ၌ ထမြောက် လိမ့်မည် ဟူသော အကြောင်း များတို့ကို မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
23 And he said to all, If any one chooseth to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
၂၃ထိုမှတစ်ပါး ၊ လူအပေါင်း တို့အား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ ၌ဆည်းကပ် လို သောသူ ဖြစ် လျှင်ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် ငြင်းပယ် ရမည်။ ကိုယ် လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် ကို နေ့တိုင်း ထမ်း ၍ ငါ့ နောက်သို့လိုက် ရမည်။
24 For whoever chooseth to save his life, will lose it; and whoever loseth his life for my sake, he will save it.
၂၄အကြင်သူ သည် မိမိ အသက် ကို ကယ်ဆယ် ခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ ၏။ ထိုသူသည် အသက် ရှုံး လိမ့်မည်။ အကြင်သူ သည် ငါ့ ကြောင့် အသက် ရှုံး ၏၊ ထိုသူ သည် မိမိအသက် ကို ကယ်ဆယ် လိမ့်မည်။
25 For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit himself?
၂၅ဤ စကြဝဠာ ကို အကြွင်းမဲ့ အစိုးရ ၍ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် ဆုံးရှုံး သောသူ သည် အဘယ် ကျေးဇူး ရှိသနည်း။
26 For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when be cometh in his glory, and that of his Father, and of the holy angels.
၂၆အကြင်သူ သည် ငါ့ ကို၎င်း ၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို၎င်းရှက် ၏၊ လူ သား သည် မိမိ ဘုန်း၊ မိမိအဘ ခမည်းတော်၏ ဘုန်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း သောကောင်းကင် တမန်တို့၏ဘုန်း ကို ဆောင် လျက်ကြွလာ သောအခါ ၊ ထို သူကို ရှက် တော်မူလတံ့။
27 And I tell you in truth, that there are some of those standing here who will not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God.
၂၇ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ဤ အရပ်၌ရှိ သော သူ အချို့ တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော်ကို မ မြင် မှီ သေ ခြင်းသို့ မ ရောက် ရကြ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28 And it came to pass about eight days after this discourse, that he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up into the mountain to pray.
၂၈ထိုသို့ မိန့် တော်မူသည်နောက် ၊ ရှစ် ရက် လောက် လွန်သောအခါ ၊ ယေရှုသည်ပေတရု ၊ ယောဟန် ၊ ယာကုပ် တို့ကိုခေါ် ၍ ဆုတောင်း ခြင်းငှာတောင် ပေါ်သို့ တက်ကြွ တော်မူ၏။
29 And while he was praying, the appearance of his countenance was changed, and his raiment became white and glistening.
၂၉ဆုတောင်း တော်မူစဉ် တွင်မျက်နှာ တော်သည် ထူးခြား သောအဆင်း အရောင်ရှိ၍ ၊ အဝတ် တော်လည်း ပြောင်ပြောင် လက်လက်ဖြူ ၏။
30 And lo! two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah;
၃၀မောရှေ နှင့် ဧလိယ တည်းဟူသောလူ နှစ် ယောက်တို့သည် ဘုန်း အသရေနှင့် ထင်ရှား ၍၊
31 who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem.
၃၁ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်အတူဆွေးနွေး လျက် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ စုတေ့ တော်မူမည်အကြောင်းအရာကို ပြော ကြ၏။
32 But Peter and those who were with him were weighed down with sleep. But when they awoke, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
၃၂ပေတရု နှင့် သူ ၏အဘော် တို့သည် မျက်စိလေးလံ သဖြင့် တငိုက်ငိုက် ရှိ ကြ၏၊ နိုး သောအခါ ဘုန်း အသရေတော်ကို၎င်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် ရပ် နေသောလူ နှစ် ယောက်ကို၎င်း မြင် ကြ၏။
33 And it came to pass as they were parting from him, that Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tents, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah; —not knowing what he said.
၃၃ထိုသူ တို့သည် အထံ တော်မှ သွား ကြစဉ် ၊ ပေတရု က၊ သခင် ၊ ဤ အရပ်၌နေ ဘွယ်ကောင်း ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် ဘို့တဲတစ် ဆောင်၊ မောရှေ ဘို့တစ် ဆောင်။ ဧလိယ ဘို့တစ် ဆောင်၊ တဲ သုံး ဆောင်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဆောက်လုပ် ပါရစေဟု ယောင်ယမ်း ၍ လျှောက် လေ၏။
34 But as he was saying this, there came a cloud and overshadowed them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
၃၄ထိုသို့ လျှောက် ပြီးမှ မိုဃ်းတိမ် သည် သူ တို့ကိုလွှမ်းမိုး ၍ ၊ မောရှေ နှင့် ဧလိယသည်တိမ် ထဲသို့ ဝင် သည်ကို တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ကြောက် ခြင်းရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊
35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, “This is my chosen Son; hear him.”
၃၅ဤ သူကားငါ ၏ချစ်သား ပေတည်း ။ သူ ၏ စကားကိုနားထောင် ကြလော့ဟု မိုဃ်းတိမ် က အသံ တော် ဖြစ် လေ၏။
36 And when the voice had come, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it secret, and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.
၃၆ထို အသံ တော်ဖြစ် သည် ခဏခြင်းတွင်၊ ယေရှု သည် တစ်ယောက်တည်း ရှိ တော်မူ၏။ တပည့် တော်တို့သည်မိမိတို့မြင် သောအရာ ကိုဝှက်ထား ၍ ၊ ထို ကာလ ၌ အဘယ်သူ အားမျှမကြား မပြောဘဲနေကြ၏။
37 And it came to pass that on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a great multitude met him.
၃၇နက်ဖြန် နေ့၌ တောင် ပေါ် ကဆင်း ကြပြီးလျှင်၊ များစွာ သောလူ အစုအဝေးသည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ခရီးဦးကြိုပြု ၏။
38 And lo! a man from the multitude cried out, saying, Teacher, I beseech thee, look upon my son, for he is my only child;
၃၈လူအစုအဝေး ၌ ပါသောသူ တစ်ယောက်က၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏သား ကို ကြည့်ရှု တော်မူမည် အကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တောင်းပန် ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ သား တစ်ယောက်တည်းရှိ ပါ၏။
39 and lo! a spirit seizeth him, and suddenly crieth out, and convulseth him so that he foameth, and it departeth from him hardly, taking away all his strength.
၃၉နတ် ဘမ်းစား သဖြင့် သူသည်ရုတ်ခနဲ အော်ဟစ် ၍ ၊ အမြှုတ် ထွက်လျက် တောင့်မာ ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ် ပါ၏။ ထိုသို့နာကျင် စွာနှိပ်စက်ပြီးမှနတ်သည်အလွန် သွား ခဲ ၏။
40 And I besought thy disciples to cast it out, and they could not.
၄၀ထိုနတ် ကို နှင်ထုတ် ပါမည်အကြောင်း တပည့် တော်တို့အား အကျွန်ုပ်တောင်းပန် သော်လည်း သူတို့သည်မ တတ်နိုင် ကြပါဟု အော်ဟစ် လျက် လျှောက် လေ၏။
41 And Jesus answering said, O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and bear with you? Bring thy son hither.
၄၁ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ယုံကြည် ခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဖောက်ပြန် သောအမျိုး ၊ ငါသည်သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ အဘယ်မျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံးနေ ရမည်နည်း။ သင် တို့ကို အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံးသည်းခံ ရမည်နည်း။ သင် ၏သား ကို ငါ့ထံသို့ယူခဲ့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
42 And while he was yet coming, the demon threw him down, and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him to his father.
၄၂သူငယ်လာ စဉ် ပင်နတ်ဆိုး သည် မြေပေါ်မှာလှဲ ၍ တောင့်မာ စေ၏။ ယေရှု သည် ညစ်ညူး သောနတ် ကို ဆုံးမ ၍ ထို သူငယ် ကို ချမ်းသာ စေပြီးမှ အဘ အား အပ်ပေး တော်မူ၏။
43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they were all wondering at all the things which he did, he said to his disciples,
၄၃လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ မဟာ တန်ခိုးတော်ကို မြင်၍ မိန်းမောတွေဝေခြင်း ရှိကြ၏။
44 As for you, let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men.
၄၄ထိုသို့ယေရှုပြု တော်မူသမျှ ကို လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် အံ့ဩ ချီးမွမ်းကြစဉ် တပည့် တော်တို့အား ၊ သင် တို့ သည် ငါ့စကား ကို နားထောင် မှတ်မိ ကြလော့။ လူ သား ကို လူ တို့လက် သို့ အပ်နှံ ရသောအချိန်နီး ပြီဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
45 But they knew not the meaning of these words, and it was hidden from them, that they might not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask him about these words.
၄၅ထို စကား တော်၏အနက် မထင်ရှားသဖြင့် တပည့်တော်တို့သည် နားမလည် မရိပ်မိဘဲနေကြ၏။ အနက် ကိုလည်း မ မေး မလျှောက်ဝံ့ကြ။
46 And there arose a reasoning among them, which of them was greatest.
၄၆ထိုအခါ အဘယ်သူ သည် သာ၍ ကြီးမြတ်အံ့နည်း ဟု တပည့်တော်တို့သည်အချင်းချင်း ငြင်းခုံ ကြ၏။
47 And Jesus knowing the reasoning of their heart, took a child and set him by his side,
၄၇ယေရှု သည် သူ တို့အကြံအစည် ကို သိမြင် လျှင် ၊ သူငယ် တစ်ယောက်ကိုယူ ၍ မိမိ အနား ၌ထား ပြီးမှ ၊
48 and said to them, Whoever receiveth this child in my name, receiveth me; and whoever receiveth me, receiveth him who sent me. For he that is least among you all, he is great.
၄၈အကြင်သူ သည် ငါ့ မျက်နှာ ကိုထောက်၍ဤ သူငယ် ကိုလက်ခံ ၏၊ ထိုသူသည် ငါ့ ကိုပင်လက်ခံ ၏။ ငါ့ ကို လက်ခံ သောသူ သည်လည်း ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ ကိုပင်လက်ခံ ၏။ သင် တို့တွင် အငယ်ဆုံး သောသူသည် သာ၍ကြီးမြတ် သော သူ ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
49 And John answering said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name, and we forbade him, because he doth not follow in our company.
၄၉ယောဟန် ကလည်း ၊ သခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ နာမ ကို အမှီပြု ၍ နတ်ဆိုး တို့ကို နှင်ထုတ် သောသူ တစ် ယောက်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ တွေ့ပါ၏။ သူ သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့နှင့်အတူ မ လိုက် သောကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တားမြစ် ကြပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် သော်၊
50 But Jesus said to him, Forbid him not; for he that is not against you is for you.
၅၀ယေရှု က၊ ထိုသူ ကို မ မြစ်တား ကြနှင့်။ သင် တို့ ရန်သူ ဘက်၌မ ရှိ သောသူ သည် သင် တို့ဘက် ၌ရှိ သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
51 And it came to pass, when the time was near for his being received up, that he himself steadily set his face to go to Jerusalem.
၅၁ကောင်းကင် သို့ဆောင်ယူခြင်းကို ခံတော်မူသောအချိန် ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ တူရူ ကြွ အံ့သောငှာသဘောထား တော်မူ၏။
52 And he sent messengers before him; and they went and entered a city of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
၅၂ရှေ့ တော်သို့ တမန်တော် တို့ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ၏အဘို့ကို ပြင်ဆင် ခြင်းငှာ သွား ၍ ရှမာရိ ရွာ တရွာသို့ ဝင်ကြ ၏။
53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as if he were going to Jerusalem.
၅၃ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ သွား အံ့သောအခြင်းအရာကို ထိုရွာသားတို့သည် ထောက်၍လက် မ ခံကြ။
54 And the disciples James and John, on seeing it, said, Lord, wilt thou have us bid fire come down from heaven, and consume them?
၅၄ထိုအကြောင်းကို တပည့် တော်ယာကုပ် ၊ ယောဟန် တို့သည်မြင် လျှင် ၊ သခင် ၊ ဧလိယပြုသကဲ့သို့အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင် မှ မီး ကျ စေ၍ ထိုသူ တို့ကို လောင် စေခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ တော်မူသလောဟု လျှောက် ကြသော်၊
55 But he turned and rebuked them.
၅၅ယေရှုသည် လှည့်ကြည့် ၍ ၊ သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်စိတ် သဘော ကို ကိုယ်မသိကြ၊ လူသား သည် လူတို့ ၏ အသက်ကို သတ်အံ့ သောငှာ ကြွလာသည် မဟုတ်။ ကယ်တင် အံ့သောငှာ ကြွလာ သည် ဟု ဆုံးမ တော်မူပြီးမှ ၊
56 And they went to another village.
၅၆အခြား သောရွာ သို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏။
57 And as they were traveling on the way, one said to him, I will follow thee wherever thou goest.
၅၇လမ်း ၌ သွား ကြစဉ် လူတစ်ဦး က၊ သခင် ကိုယ်တော်ကြွ တော်မူရာအရပ်ရပ် သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်လိုက် ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
58 And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have lodging-places; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
၅၈ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ မြေခွေး သည်မြေတွင်း ရှိ ၏၊ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်၌ ကျင်လည်သော ငှက် သည် နားနေရာ အရပ်ရှိ၏။ လူ သား မူကား ခေါင်း ချ ရာမျှမ ရှိ ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
59 And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Suffer me first to go and bury my father.
၅၉အခြား သောသူကို၊ ငါ့ နောက် သို့လိုက်လော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ထိုသူက၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အဘ ကို ရှေးဦးစွာ သွား ၍ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ရသောအခွင့် ကို ပေးတော်မူပါဟုလျှောက် လေသော်၊
60 And he said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead; but go thou and carry the tidings of the kingdom of God.
၆၀ယေရှုက၊ လူသေ တို့သည် မိမိ လူသေ တို့ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ပါလေစေ။ သင် မူကား သွား ၍ ဘုရားသခင့် နိုင်ငံ တော်၏အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြော လော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
61 And another also said, I will follow thee, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to those who are in my house.
၆၁အခြား သောသူကလည်း ၊ သခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် နောက် သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်လိုက်ပါမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ် အိမ် ၌ ရှိရစ်သောသူ တို့ကို အရင် သွား၍ အခွင့်ပန် ပါရစေဟု လျှောက် လျှင် ၊
62 And Jesus said to him, No one who looketh back after putting his hand to the plough is fit for the kingdom of God.
၆၂ယေရှု က၊ ထွန်ကိုင်း ကို ကိုင် လျက်နောက် သို့လှည့် ၍ ကြည့်သောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော်နှင့် မ ထိုက် မတန် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
