Luke 6
1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he was going through grain-fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of grain, and ate them, rubbing them with their hands.
Es geschah aber auf einen Sabbath, den zweiten nach dem ersten, daß Er durch das Saatfeld hindurchging, und Seine Jünger rauften die Ähren aus und aßen sie und zerrieben dieselben mit den Händen.
2 And some of the Pharisees said, Why are ye doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath?
Etliche aber der Pharisäer sprachen zu ihnen: Was tut ihr, das nicht erlaubt ist, an den Sabbathen zu tun?
3 And Jesus answering them, said, Have ye not even read what David did, when he was himself hungry, and they who were with him?
Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr nicht auch das gelesen, was David tat, da ihn hungerte und die mit ihm waren.
4 how he went into the house of God, and took and ate the show-bread, and gave it also to those who were with him, which it is not lawful for any to eat but the priests alone?
Wie er in das Haus Gottes einging und die Schaubrote nahm und aß, und auch denen, die mit ihm waren, gab, die doch niemandem als den Priestern allein erlaubt ist zu essen?
5 And he said to them, The Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Des Menschen Sohn ist Herr auch des Sabbaths.
6 And it came to pass on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue, and taught; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered.
An einem anderen Sabbath aber geschah, daß Er in die Synagoge einging und lehrte. Und da war ein Mensch, und dessen rechte Hand war verdorrt.
7 And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching whether he would heal on the sabbath, that they might find an accusation against him.
Die Schriftgelehrten und die Pharisäer aber hielten auf Ihn, ob Er am Sabbathe heilen würde, auf daß sie eine Anklage gegen Ihn fänden.
8 But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man having the withered hand, Rise, and stand up in the midst. And he arose, and stood up.
Er aber wußte ihre Gedanken und sprach zu dem Menschen, der die verdorrte Hand hatte: Richte dich auf und stelle dich in die Mitte! Und er stand auf und stand da.
9 And Jesus said to them, I ask you whether it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil; to save life, or to kill?
Nun sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Ich frage euch: Was ist erlaubt an Sabbathen zu tun, Gutes tun oder Böses tun, das Leben zu retten oder zu verderben?
10 And looking round on them all, he said to him, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so; and his hand was restored.
Und Er blickte auf sie alle umher und sprach zu dem Menschen: Strecke deine Hand aus! Er aber tat also, und seine Hand war wiederhergestellt, gesund, wie die andere.
11 But they were filled with madness, and conferred with one another as to what they should do to Jesus.
Sie aber waren ganz von Sinnen, und besprachen sich untereinander, was sie mit Jesus tun wollten.
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God.
In diesen Tagen aber geschah es, daß Er auf den Berg hinausging, zu beten; und Er war die ganz Nacht hindurch im Gebete zu Gott.
13 And when it was day, he called to him his disciples; and he chose from them twelve, whom he also named apostles;
Und da es Tag ward, rief Er Seine Jünger zu Sich und erwählte aus ihnen zwölf, die Er auch Apostel benannte.
14 Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip and Bartholomew,
Simon, den Er auch Petrus benannte, und seinen Bruder Andreas, Jakobus und Johannes, Philippus und Bartholomäus;
15 and Matthew and Thomas, and James the Son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the zealot,
Matthäus und Thomas, Jakobus, den Sohn des Alphäus, und Simon, den man Zelotes hieß;
16 and Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
Judas, des Jakobus Sohn, und Judas Iskarioth, der auch zum Verräter wurde.
17 And he came down with them, and stood on a level place with a great multitude of his disciples, and a great crowd of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem and the sea-coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases.
Und mit ihnen stieg Er hinab und stand auf einem ebenen Platz, und ein Gedränge Seiner Jünger und eine große Menge des Volkes aus ganz Judäa und Jerusalem und der Meeresküste von Tyrus und Sidon,
18 And they that were harassed with unclean spirits were cured.
Die gekommen waren, Ihn zu hören und von ihren Krankheiten zu gesunden, und die von unreinen Geistern bedrängt waren, und sie wurden geheilt.
19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him, because power went out of him and healed all.
Und all das Gedränge suchte Ihn zu berühren; denn es ging eine Kraft von Ihm aus und machte alle gesund.
20 And raising his eyes toward his disciples, he said, Blessed are ye poor; for yours is the kingdom of God.
Und Er hob Seine Augen auf über Seine Jünger und sprach: Selig seid ihr Armen; denn das Reich Gottes ist euer.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now; for ye will be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now; for ye will laugh.
Selig seid ihr, die ihr jetzt hungert; denn ihr sollt gesättigt werden. Selig seid ihr, die ihr jetzt weinet; denn ihr sollt lachen.
22 Blessed are ye when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man.
Selig seid ihr, wenn euch die Menschen hassen und wenn sie euch von sich ausscheiden und schmähen und euren Namen als übel verwerfen um des Menschen Sohnes willen.
23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy; for lo! your reward is great in heaven; for thus their fathers did to the prophets.
Freuet euch am selbigen Tage und hüpfet; denn siehe, eures Lohnes ist viel in dem Himmel; denn also haben ihre Väter den Propheten getan.
24 But woe to you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
Wehe dagegen euch Reichen; denn ihr habt euren Trost dahin.
25 Woe to you that are full now! for ye will hunger. Woe to you that laugh now! for ye will mourn and weep.
Wehe euch, ihr jetzt völlig Gesättigten; denn ihr werdet hungern. Wehe euch, die ihr jetzt lachet; denn ihr werdet trauern und weinen.
26 Woe, when all men speak well of you! for so did their fathers of the false prophets.
Wehe euch, wenn alle Menschen schön von euch sprechen; denn so taten ihre Väter den falschen Propheten.
27 But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you;
Euch aber sage Ich, die ihr höret: Liebet eure Feinde; tut wohl denen, die euch hassen;
28 bless those who curse you; pray for those who are spiteful to you.
Segnet, die euch fluchen. Betet für die, so euch beleidigen.
29 To him that smiteth thee on one cheek, offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also.
Dem, der dich schlägt auf den Backen, biete den andern auch dar; und dem, der dir das Oberkleid nimmt, wehre auch den Rock nicht!
30 Give to every one that asketh of thee; and from him that taketh away thy goods, demand them not again.
Gib jedem, der dich bittet. Und nimmt dir einer das Deine, so fordere es nicht wieder ab.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also in like manner to them.
Und wie ihr wollet, daß euch die Menschen tun, tut auch ihr ihnen desgleichen.
32 And if ye love those who love you, what thanks do ye deserve? for sinners also love those who love them.
Und so ihr liebet, die euch lieben, was für Dank habt ihr davon? Denn auch die Sünder lieben die, so sie lieben.
33 For if ye do good to those who do good to you, what thanks do ye deserve? even sinners do the same.
Und so ihr Gutes tut denen, die euch Gutes tun, was für Dank habt ihr davon? Dasselbe tun ja auch die Sünder.
34 And if ye lend to those from whom ye expect to receive, what thanks do ye deserve? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much in return.
Und so ihr leihet denen, von denen ihr es wieder zu empfangen hoffet, was für Dank habt ihr? Denn auch die Sünder leihen den Sündern, auf daß sie das gleiche wieder empfangen.
35 But love your enemies, and do good and lend, despairing of no one; and your reward will be great, and ye will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the unthankful and wicked.
Liebet vielmehr eure Feinde und tut Gutes und leihet, wo ihr nichts dafür hoffet, und eures Lohnes wird viel sein, und ihr werdet Söhne des Höchsten sein; denn Er ist gütig auch gegen die Undankbaren und Schlechten.
36 Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.
Darum seid mitleidig, wie auch euer Vater mitleidig ist.
37 And judge not, and ye will not be judged; and condemn not, and ye will not be condemned; forgive, and ye will be forgiven;
Und richtet nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht gerichtet. Verurteilt nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht verurteilt. Erlasset, so wird auch euch erlassen.
38 give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will men give into your bosom; for with what measure ye mete, it will be measured to you in return.
Gebet, so wird euch gegeben. Ein gut, gedrückt und gerüttelt und überflüssig Maß wird man in den Schoß euch geben; denn mit demselben Maß, womit ihr messet, wird man euch wieder messen.
39 And he spoke also a parable to them: Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a ditch?
Er sagte ihnen aber ein Gleichnis: Kann auch ein Blinder einem Blinden den Weg weisen? Werden nicht beide in die Grube fallen?
40 A disciple is not above his teacher; but every one when fully instructed will be as his teacher.
Ein Jünger ist nicht über seinem Lehrer; ist er aber ganz unterrichtet, so wird er sein gleich wie sein Lehrer.
41 And why dost thou look at the mote in thy brother's eye, and not perceive the beam that is in thine own eye?
Was blickst du aber auf den Splitter in deines Bruders Auge, gewahrst aber nicht des Balkens im eigenen Auge?
42 How canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me take out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself perceivest not the beam in thine own eye? Hypocrite! first cast the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to take out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
Oder wie kannst du zu deinem Bruder sagen: Bruder, laß mich, ich will dir den Splitter in deinem Auge herausziehen, und du erblickst den Balken in deinem Auge nicht? Du Heuchler, ziehe zuvor den Balken aus deinem Auge heraus, und dann wirst du recht sehen, wie du den Splitter aus deines Bruders Auge herausziehst.
43 For there is no good tree that beareth bad fruit; and again, there is no bad tree that beareth good fruit.
Denn es ist kein guter Baum, der faule Frucht bringt, noch ein fauler Baum, der gute Frucht bringt.
44 For every tree is known by its own fruit; for from thorns men do not gather figs, nor from a bramble-bush do they gather grapes.
Denn ein jeglicher Baum wird an seiner eigenen Frucht erkannt; denn von Dornen sammelt man nicht Feigen, noch liest man Trauben vom Dornbusch.
45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil; for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaketh.
Der gute Mensch bringt Gutes hervor aus dem guten Schatz seines Herzens, und der schlechte Mensch bringt Schlechtes hervor aus dem schlechten Schatz seines Herzens; denn aus dem Überfließen des Herzens redet der Mensch.
46 But why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Was heißet ihr Mich aber: Herr, Herr! und tuet nicht, was Ich sage?
47 Every one that cometh to me and heareth my sayings and doeth them, I will show you whom he is like.
Wer zu Mir kommt und höret Meine Worte und tut sie, von dem will Ich euch zeigen, wem er ähnlich ist.
48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid its foundation on a rock; and when a flood arose, the stream dashed against that house, and could not shake it; because it was well built.
Er ist ähnlich einem Menschen, der ein Haus baute, der ausgrub und tief ging und legte den Grund auf den Felsen. Da aber eine Überschwemmung ward und der Strom sich an selbigem Hause brach, vermochte er es nicht zu erschüttern; denn es war auf den Felsen gegründet.
49 But he that heareth and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream dashed, and it fell at once, and the ruin of that house was great.
Wer aber hört und nicht tut, der ist ähnlich einem Menschen, der sein Haus ohne Grund auf die Erde baute. An ihm brach sich der Strom, und es fiel alsobald, und der Bruch selbigen Hauses ward groß.
