< Luke 5 >
1 And it came to pass, as the multitude was pressing upon him and hearing the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,

9 For he and all that were with him were amazed at the draught of fishes, which they had taken;
10 and so were also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.

17 And it came to pass on a certain day, that he was teaching, and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every town of Galilee and Judea, and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present that he might heal.

19 And not finding any way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the house-top, and let him down through the tiling with the couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And seeing their faith, he said, Man, thy sins have been forgiven thee.

24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, —he said to the palsied man, —I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go to thy house.
25 And he immediately rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and went away to his house, giving glory to God.
Aiboiꞌ ma, atahori naa fela nambariiꞌ sia atahori hetar mata nara, de haꞌi nala radꞌat na. Boe ma ana lao baliꞌ no koa-kio Lamatualain.

31 And Jesus answering said to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick.
Te Yesus nafadꞌe se nae, “Atahori mamahedꞌiꞌ memaꞌ parlu doter. Te atahori nda mamahedꞌiꞌ ra sa, nda parlu sa.
32 I have not come to call righteous men, but sinners to repentance.
Au uma fo mete-seꞌu atahori nda maloleꞌ ra sa. Te nda uma fo mete-seꞌu atahori mana duꞌa rae sira aon ndoo-tetuꞌ ena.”

34 But Jesus said to them, Can ye make the companions of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

36 And he spoke also a parable to them: No one taketh a patch from a new garment and putteth it upon an old one; for then both the new garment would be rent, and the patch from the new garment would not match with the old.
Basa ma, Yesus nafadꞌe nekendandaaꞌ esa fai nae, “Nda hambu atahori haꞌi teme feuꞌ eꞌetuꞌ esa, fo tanda neu badꞌu mbara manasikaꞌ sa. Te mete ma safe badꞌu a, na teme feuꞌ naa kukundu ma badꞌu a boe sika.

38 But new wine must be put into new skins.
39 And no one, having drunk old wine, desireth new; for he saith, The old is good.
