Luke 5
1 And it came to pass, as the multitude was pressing upon him and hearing the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,
੧ਇਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਗਨੇਸਰਤ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ।
2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone out of them, and had washed the nets.
੨ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੋ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਮਾਛੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਲ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
3 And going into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And sitting down in the boat, he taught the multitudes.
੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਦੀ ਸੀ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਕੰਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਹਟਾ ਲੈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
4 And when he had done speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into deep water, and let down your nets for a draught.
੪ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਚੱਲੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫੜਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਲ਼ ਪਾਓ।
5 And Simon answering said, Master, we toiled all night, and took nothing; but at thy word I will let down the nets.
੫ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਫੜਿਆ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਲ਼ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
6 And having done this, they inclosed great multitude of fishes; and their nets began to break.
੬ਜਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫੜ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ਼ ਫੱਟਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
7 And they beckoned to their partners in the other boat, to come and help them; and they came, and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
੭ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ, ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੋ। ਸੋ ਉਹ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਡੁੱਬਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ।
8 And Simon Peter seeing it fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.
੮ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਓ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
9 For he and all that were with him were amazed at the draught of fishes, which they had taken;
੯ਐਨੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫੜਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ।
10 and so were also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; henceforth thou shalt catch men.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਸਨ, ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ। ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਾ ਡਰ, ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਛਵਾਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ।
11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
੧੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਹੋ ਤੁਰੇ।
12 And it came to pass, when he was in one of the cities, lo! a man full of leprosy; and seeing Jesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me.
੧੨ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਇੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
13 And he put forth his hand and touched him, saying, I will; be thou cleansed. And immediately the leprosy left him.
੧੩ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
14 And he charged him to tell no one: but go, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
੧੪ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੀਂ ਪਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
15 But so much the more went abroad the report concerning him; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.
੧੫ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋਈ।
16 But he was wont to withdraw to desert places, and pray.
੧੬ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, that he was teaching, and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every town of Galilee and Judea, and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present that he might heal.
੧੭ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਇਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਈ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।
18 And lo! men brought on a bed a man that was palsied; and they endeavored to bring him in, and to set him before him.
੧੮ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਧਰੰਗੀ ਸੀ, ਮੰਜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖਣ।
19 And not finding any way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the house-top, and let him down through the tiling with the couch into the midst before Jesus.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਭੀੜ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਛੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਟਾਇਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜੀ ਸਣੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
20 And seeing their faith, he said, Man, thy sins have been forgiven thee.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਹੋਏ।
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?
੨੧ਤਦ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ? ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਪਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
22 But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered and said to them, What are ye thinking in your hearts?
੨੨ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?
23 Which is easier? to say, Thy sins have been forgiven thee? or to say, Arise, and walk?
੨੩ਕਿਹੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੌਖੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਕਿ ਉੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰ?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, —he said to the palsied man, —I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go to thy house.
੨੪ਪਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਅਧਰੰਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਜੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾ।
25 And he immediately rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and went away to his house, giving glory to God.
੨੫ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਜੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
26 And amazement seized them all, and they gave glory to God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to-day.
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ!।
27 And after these things he went out, and saw a publican named Levi, sitting at the custom-house; and he said to him, Follow me.
੨੭ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਦੀ ਚੌਂਕੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ।
28 And leaving everything, he arose and followed him.
੨੮ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ।
29 And Levi made a great feast for him at his house, and there was a great company of publicans and others, who were reclining at table with them.
੨੯ਫਿਰ ਲੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਾਵਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਸੀ।
30 And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners?
੩੦ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁੜਬੁੜਾ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਂਦੇ-ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹੋ?
31 And Jesus answering said to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick.
੩੧ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਨਰੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਰੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਕੀਮ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।
32 I have not come to call righteous men, but sinners to repentance.
੩੨ਮੈਂ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਬਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਉਣ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ।
33 And they said to him, The disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise those of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink.
੩੩ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ-ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
34 But Jesus said to them, Can ye make the companions of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?
੩੪ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਲਾੜਾ ਬਰਾਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਭਲਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਤ ਰਖਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ?
35 But the days will come—and when the bridegroom is taken from them, then will they fast in those days.
੩੫ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਜਦ ਲਾੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਉਹ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ।
36 And he spoke also a parable to them: No one taketh a patch from a new garment and putteth it upon an old one; for then both the new garment would be rent, and the patch from the new garment would not match with the old.
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਟਾਕੀ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਦੀ ਟਾਕੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਜਣੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
37 And no one putteth new wine into old skins; for the new wine would burst the skins, and would itself run out, and the skins would be spoilt.
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਅ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਅ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਵਗ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
38 But new wine must be put into new skins.
੩੮ਪਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਅ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
39 And no one, having drunk old wine, desireth new; for he saith, The old is good.
੩੯ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਮੈਅ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਮੈਅ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ।
