Luke 3
1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,
୧ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ତିବିରିଆ କାଇସର୍ ସାସନ୍ କର୍ବା ପନ୍ଦ୍ର ବରସ୍ ଅଇଲାବେଲେ, ପାନ୍ତିୟ ପିଲାତ୍ ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜ୍ ସାସନ୍ କର୍ତେରଇଲା । ଆରି ଏରଦ୍ ଗାଲିଲିର୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ରଇଲା । ଏରଦର୍ ବାଇ ପିଲିପ୍ ଇତୁରିଆ ଆରି ତାକ୍ନିତ୍ ରାଇଜର୍ ସାମନ୍ତ୍ ରାଜା ରଇଲା । ଲୁସାନିଆ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଅବିଲିନି ରାଇଜର୍ ସାମନ୍ତ୍ ରାଜା ରଇଲା ।
2 when Annas and Caiaphas were high-priests, the word of God came to John, the son of Zachariah, in the wilderness.
୨ଆନାନ୍ ଆରି କୟାପ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍ ବଡ୍ ପୁଜାରି ରଇଲାଇ । ସେବେଲେ ଜିକରିୟର୍ ପଅ ଜଅନ୍, ମରୁବାଲି ବୁଏଁ ରଇଲାବେଲେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ କାତା ସେ ସୁନ୍ଲା ।
3 And he came into all the country about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
୩ଜର୍ଦନ୍ ଗାଡ୍ ଲଗେ ରଇବା ଲଗର୍ ପାକର୍ ଗାଉଁଗଣ୍ଡାଇ ଜାଇ ଜଅନ୍ ପାପ୍ କେମାର୍ ଲାଗି, ପାପ୍କାମ୍ ଚାଡିକରି ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ବାଟେ ଆସି ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ଜାନାଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା ।
4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths!
୪ଜେନ୍ତାରି ଜିସାୟ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା ସୁନାଇରଇବା ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲାଆଚେ, “ମରୁବାଲିବୁଏଁ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ସବଦ୍ କରି କଇଲାନି, ମାପ୍ରୁ ଆଇବାଟା ତିଆର୍କରା, ତାର୍ ଆଇବା ବାଟ୍ ସଲ୍କାଆ ।
5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth;
୫ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ ଡଙ୍ଗର୍ ପର୍ବତ୍ ସବୁ ସଦ୍ରମ୍ ଅଇକରି ଗାଡ୍ କଣ୍ଡି କଣ୍ଡି ରଇବା ଆଁଟାଲ୍ ବୁଟାଲ୍ ସାର୍ଦି ଅଇସି, ବାଁକ୍ ଟେକ୍ ବାଟ୍ ସଲକ୍ ଅଇସି, ଆରି କାଲ୍ ଡେପ୍ ଜମି ସଦ୍ରମ୍ ଅଇଜାଇସି ।
6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”
୬ମଚ୍ପୁରର୍ ସବୁଲକ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଉଦାର୍କାରିଆକେ ଦେକ୍ବାଇ ।”
7 He said therefore to the multitudes that came forth to be baptized by him, Brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?
୭ଜଅନ୍ଟାନେ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାର୍ଲାଗି ବାରଇ ଆଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ବିସ୍ ରଇଲା ସାଁପର୍ ବଁସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ଆଇବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ କପେଅନି ପାଲାଇବାକେ ତମ୍କେ କେ ଚେତ୍ନା ଦେଲା?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance; and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; for I say to you, that God is able out of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.
୮ତେବର୍ପାଇ ପାପ୍କାମ୍ ଚାଡି ନିକ କାମ୍ କରା, ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ତା ଆମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦି ବଲି ମନେ ମନେ ବାବାନାଇ, କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଏ ପାକ୍ନାମନର୍ଟାନେଅନି ମିସା ଅବ୍ରାମର୍ ପିଲାଜିଲା ଉବ୍ଜାଇ ପାର୍ସି ।
9 And already also is the axe lying at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that beareth not good fruit is to be cut down, and cast into the fire.
୯ଏବେମିସା ଗଚ୍ମନର୍ ବୁନ୍ଦେ କୁରାଡି ଲାଗିଆଚେ, ତେବର୍ପାଇ ଜନ୍ ଗଚ୍ ନିମାନ୍ ପଲ୍ ନ ପଲେ, ସେଟା କାଟିକରି ଜଇଟାନେ ପିଙ୍ଗାଅଇସି ।”
10 And the multitudes asked him, saying, What then must we do?
୧୦ତେଇ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜଅନ୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ ଆମେ କାଇଟା କର୍ବୁ?”
11 He answered and said to them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath food, let him do likewise.
୧୧ଜଅନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା “ଜାର୍ଟାନେ ଦୁଇଟା ପିନ୍ଦ୍ବା ଲୁଗା ଆଚେ, ଜାକେ ନାଇ, ତାକେ ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦେଅ, ଆରି ଜାର୍ଟାନେ କାଦି ଆଚେ, ସେ ମିସା ସେନ୍ତାରି ବାଟା କରି ଦେଅ ।”
12 And there came also publicans to be baptized, and said to him, Teacher, what must we do?
୧୨ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁମନ୍ ମିସା ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ଆସି ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ “ଏ ଗୁରୁ ଆମେ କାଇଟା କର୍ବୁ?”
13 And he said to them, Exact no more than hath been ordered you.
୧୩ଜଅନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ତମର୍ ଜେତ୍କି ନେବାର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ଆଚେ, ତାର୍ତେଇଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ମାଙ୍ଗା ନାଇ ।”
14 And soldiers also asked him, saying, And what must we do? And he said to them, Do violence to no one, accuse no one falsely, and be content with your wages.
୧୪ସନିଅମନ୍ ମିସା ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଆରି ଆମେ କାଇଟା କର୍ବୁ?” ଜଅନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ବପୁ ଦେକାଇ କାଇଟା ମିସା ଜିକି ଆନା ନାଇ କି ନାଡାଇକରି କାର୍ ଦନ୍ସଁପତି ଆନା ନାଇ, ତମ୍କେ ଜେତ୍କି କୁଲି ମିଲ୍ଲାନି ସେତ୍କି ନେଇକରି ସାର୍ଦା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରୁଆ ।”
15 And while the people were in expectation, and all were considering in their hearts concerning John, whether he were the Christ,
୧୫ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆସାଅଇ କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ଜାଗ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ ଜେ, କେଡେବେଲେ ଏ ମିସା କିରିସ୍ଟ ଅଇରଇସି ବଲି ବାବି, ଜଅନର୍ ବିସଇ ଚିନ୍ତା କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
16 John answered and said to them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but he who is mightier than I is coming, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to loose; he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire.
୧୬ତେବେ ଜଅନ୍ ସବୁଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇସିନା ତମ୍କେ ପାନିଟାନେ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଲିନି, ମାତର୍ ମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ବପୁର୍ଲକ୍ ଆଇଲାନି, ମୁଇ ତାର୍ ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡା ଅଇ ପାଦର୍ ପାଣ୍ଡଇ ମିସା କୁସ୍ଲାଇବାକେ ମର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ନାଇ । ସେ ତମ୍କେ ଜଇସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆରି ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇସି ।
17 His winnowing-shovel is in his hand to thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor, and gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
୧୭ତାର୍ ଆତେ କୁଲାଆଚେ, ତେବେ ସେ କଟାରେ ରଇଲା ଦାନ୍ ପରିଚଲ୍ କରି ଟୁଲିଆଇ କଲ୍କିଟାନେ ସଙ୍ଗଇସି । କାଇ କାମେ ନ ଆଇବାଟା ଜାକ ସବୁବେଲେ ଲାଗିରଇବା ଜଇଟାନେ ପଡାଇଦେଇସି ।”
18 And giving many other exhortations he published the glad tidings to the people.
୧୮ଜଅନ୍ ଏନ୍ତାରି କେତେକ୍ କେତେକ୍ ଉପ୍ଦେସ୍ ଦେଇକରି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ବାଟେ ଆଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କରାଇତେରଇଲା ଆରି ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ନିକ କାତା ସୁନାଇତେରଇଲା ଆରି ପାପ୍ କର୍ବାଟାନେଅନି ବାଅଡ୍ବାକେ ବୁଜାଇତେରଇଲା ।
19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him on account of Herodias the wife of his brother, and on account of all the evil deeds which Herod had done,
୧୯ମାତର୍ ସାମନ୍ତ ରାଜା ଏରଦ୍ ନିଜର୍ ବାଇର୍ ମାଇଜି ଏରଦିଆକେ ସଙ୍ଗଇଲାକେ ତାର୍ କରିରଇବା ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ପାପ୍କାମର୍ ବିସଇ ଜାନି ଜଅନ୍ ତାକେ ଦମ୍କାଇତେରଇଲା ।
20 added this also to them all, that he shut up John in prison.
୨୦ଏରଦ୍ ଜଅନ୍କେ ବନ୍ଦିକରି ସେ କରିରଇବା ସବୁ ପାପ୍କାମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏ ବଡ୍ ପାପ୍ ମିସା ଜଡ୍ଲା ।
21 And it came to pass, when all the people had been baptized, and Jesus also had been baptized, and was praying, that the heaven was opened,
୨୧ସବୁଲକ୍ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେଲା ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ମିସା ଡୁବନ୍ ନେଲା । ଆରି ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବାବେଲେ, ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ବାଦଲ୍ ଉଗାଡିଅଇଗାଲା,
22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in a bodily shape as a dove; and a voice came from heaven: “Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased.”
୨୨ଆରି ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ପରୁଆର୍ ଗାଗଡ୍ ଦାରି ଉତ୍ରି ଆସି, ଜିସୁର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ବସ୍ଲା । ସର୍ଗେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ଏନ୍ତାରି ସବଦ୍ ଆଇଲା, “ତୁଇସେ ମର୍ ଆଲାଦର୍ ପିଲା, ତର୍ଟାନେ ମୁଇ ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଲିନି ।”
23 And Jesus himself was, when he began, about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, who was the son of Heli,
୨୩ଜିସୁ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ କାମ୍ ଆରମ୍ କଲାବେଲେ ତାକେ ତିରିସ୍ ବରସ୍ ଅଇରଇଲା । ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବାବ୍ନା ଇସାବେ, ଜିସୁ ଜସେପର୍ ପଅ, ଜସେପ୍ ଏଲିର୍ ପଅ ।
24 who was the son of Matthath, who was the son of Levi, who was the son of Melchi, who was the son of Jannai, who was the son of Joseph,
୨୪ଏଲି ମତ୍ତାତର୍ ପଅ, ମତ୍ତାତ୍ ଲେବିର୍ ପଅ, ଲେବି ମଲ୍କିର୍ ପଅ, ମଲ୍କି ଜନୟର୍ ପଅ, ଜନୟ ଜସେପର୍ ପଅ,
25 who was the son of Mattathias, who was the son of Amos, who was the son of Nahum, who was the son of Esli, who was the son of Naggai,
୨୫ଜସେପ୍ ମତିତିଆର୍ ପଅ, ମତିତିଆ ଅମସର୍ ପଅ, ଅମସ୍ ନାଉମର୍ ପଅ, ନାଉମ୍ ଏସ୍ମିର୍ ପଅ, ଏସ୍ମି ନଗୟର୍ ପଅ,
26 who was the son of Maath, who was the son of Mattathias, who was the son of Shimei, who was the son of Josech, who was the son of Joda,
୨୬ନଗୟ ମଅତର୍ ପଅ, ମଅତ୍ ମତିତିଆର୍ ପଅ, ମତିତିଆ ସମଇର୍ ପଅ, ସମୟି ଜସେକର୍ ପଅ, ଜସେକ୍ ଜଦାର୍ ପଅ,
27 who was the son of Joanan, who was the son of Rhesa, who was the son of Zerubbabel, who was the son of Shealtiel, who was the son of Neri,
୨୭ଜଦା ଜଅନର୍ ପଅ, ଜଅନ୍ ରେସାର୍ ପଅ, ରେସା ଜିରୁବାବେଲର୍ ପଅ, ଜିରୁବାବେଲ୍ ସିଅଲ୍ତିଏଲର୍ ପଅ, ସଅଲ୍ତିଏଲ୍ ନେରିର୍ ପଅ,
28 who was the son of Melchi, who was the son of Addi, who was the son of Kosam, who was the son of Elmadam, who was the son of Er,
୨୮ନେରି ମଲ୍କିର୍ ପଅ, ମଲ୍କି ଅଦିର୍ ପଅ, ଅଦି କସାମର୍ ପଅ, କସାମ୍ ଏଲୁଦାନର୍ ପଅ, ଏଲୁଦାନ୍ ଏରର୍ ପଅ,

36 who was the son of Cainan, who was the son of Arphaxad, who was the son of Shem, who was the son of Noah, who was the son of Lamech,
୩୬ସେଲା କଇନାନର୍ ପଅ, କଇନାନ୍ ଆର୍ପାକ୍ସଡର୍ ପଅ, ଆର୍ପାକ୍ସେଡର୍ ସେ ମର୍ ପଅ, ସେମ ନଅର୍ ପଅ, ନଅ ଲାମେକର୍ ପଅ,
37 who was the son of Methuselah, who was the son of Enoch, who was the son of Jared, who was the son of Mahalaleel, who was the son of Cainan,
୩୭ଲାମେକ୍ ମିତୁସେଲଅର୍ ପଅ, ମିତୁସେଲଅ ଅନକର୍ ପଅ, ଅନକ୍ ଜାରେଦର୍ ପଅ, ଜାରେଦ୍ ମଅଲେଲର୍ ପଅ, ମଅଲେଲ୍ କେନାନର୍ ପଅ
38 who was the son of Enos, who was the son of Seth, who was the son of Adam, who was the son of God.
୩୮କେନାନ୍ ଏନସର୍ ପଅ, ଏନସ୍ ସେତର୍ ପଅ, ସେତ ଆଦମର୍ ପଅ, ଆଦମ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପଅ ।
