Luke 24
1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
Jumapili mandawira ndaa, wadala walii wagenditi kulipumba pawatola na utuli ulii wawaunyawiti.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb;
Wawoniti libuwi lilii libilingisiwa pampenku pa lipumba.
3 and on entering they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
Pawingiriti mngati, wawoniti ndiri nshimba ya Mtuwa Yesu.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed about this, lo! two men stood by them in glittering apparel;
Wagolokiti palii na waweriti wankulishera kwajili shisoweru shilii, kamukamu hera wantu wawili wazivaliti nguwu zimeremeta mbuu wagolokiti pakwegera na womberi.
5 and when they were terrified, and bowed their faces to the earth, the men said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
Wadala walii wingiritwi na lyoga, wasuntama. Su wantu walii wawagambira, “Iwera ashi mwankumsakula mkomu pakati pa wahowiti?
6 He is not here, but hath risen. Remember how be spoke to you while yet in Galilee,
Ka panu ndiri, kazyuka kala! Mliholi galii gakawagambirani pakaweriti kulii Galilaya,
7 saying, The Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinners, and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.
‘Mwana gwa Muntu mpaka wamlaviyi kwa wantu wanavidoda, nayomberi hawamkong'onderi misumali mulupingika na lishaka lya tatu hakazyuki kwanjira pakahowiti’”
8 And they remembered his words.
Wadala walii waliholiti vyakatakuliti Yesu,
9 And returning from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
walawiti mulipumba, na watakuliti vintu avi vyoseri kwa wantumintumi walii lilongu na yumu na wamonga wawaweriti paliya.
10 It was Mary the Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; and the other women with them told these things to the apostles.
Hashina Mariya Magidalena na Yoana na Maliya mawu gwa Yakobu, pamuhera na wadala wamonga wawagenditi nawomberi ndo watakuliti vintu vilii kwa wantumintumi.
11 And these words seemed to them as an idle tale, and they did not believe them.
Kumbiti wantumintumi pawapikaniriti ntambu yawatakuliti wadala walii wahera mana, su wawajimilira ndiri.
Su Peteru kalawiti na kagenda pakatuga mpaka kulipumba, kasuntama na kawoniti sanda hera. Kawuyiti ukaya pakawera kankulihola kwajili ya galiya yagalawiriti.
13 And lo! two of them were going the same day to a village called Emmaus, distant a hundred and sixty furlongs from Jerusalem.
Lishaka lilalirii, wantu wawili mngati mwa wantu wawamfata Yesu waweriti wankugenda mushijiji shawashishemiti Emawu, utali wa kilumita lilongu na yimu kulawa Yerusalemu,
14 And they were conversing together about all those things which had taken place.
na waweriti wankuyowera kwajili ya goseri galii yagalawiriti.
15 And it came to pass, while they were conversing and reasoning, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
Pawaweriti wankuyowera na kuligambiziyana, Yesu mweni kalawira na kugenda pamuwera nawomberi.
16 But their eyes were restrained from knowing him.
Wamwoniti kwa masu, kumbiti wamumana ndiri.
17 And he said to them, What discourse is this which ye have one with another, as ye are walking? And they stood sad.
Yesu kawakosiya, “Mwankuyowera shishi pamgendagenda?” Womberi wagoloka jii, sheni zyawu zihinginikiti.
18 And one, whose name was Cleopas, answering said to him, Art thou the only sojourner in Jerusalem that doth not know the things which have come to pass there in these days?
Muntu yumu pakati pawu, yawamshema Kileopa, kamkosiya, “Hashi gwenga gwa muhenga gweka yaku Kuyerusalemu yaguvimana ndiri vitwatira yavirawiriti kulii mashaka aga?”
19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things relating to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in word and deed before God and all the people;
Yesu kawakosiya, “Vitwatila gaa?” Womberi wamwankula, “Vitwatira vyavimpatiti Yesu gwa Nazareti. Muntu ayu kaweriti mbuyi gwa Mlungu kana uwezu kulongolu kwa Mlungu na kulongolu kwa wantu, mukila shintu shakatakuliti na kutenda.
20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
Watambika wakulu na wakolamlima wetu wamlaviya wamtozi kuhowa, na wamkong'ondera misumali palupinjika.
21 But we are hoping that it is he who is to redeem Israel; moreover, besides all this, it is the third day since these things were done.
Na twenga tulitumbira handa mweni ndo kaweri yumu yakagenda kuikombola Israeli! Gamonga ga aga goseri, leru ndo lishaka lya tatu kwanjira vitwatira avi pavirawiriti.
22 And furthermore certain women of our company have amazed us; for going early to the tomb,
Wadala wamu mushipinga shetu watusintuziya, pawagenditi kulipumba mandawira putiputi,
23 they did not find his body, and came, saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
su wayiwoniti ndiri nshimba yakuwi. Wawuyiti pawalonga handa walawiritwi na wantumintumi wa kumpindi, pawawagambiriti handa kaweriti mkomu.
24 And some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it to be as the women had said; but him they saw not.
Wamonga mushipinga mwetu wagenditi kulipumba, wawona galii gawatakuliti wadala walii, su mweni wamwona ndiri.”
25 And he said to them, O dull of apprehension, and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!
Shakapanu Yesu kawagambira, “Iwera hashi mwa wazigizigi shiyasi ashi na myoyu yenu ikamala nentu kugajimira goseri galii gatakulitwi na wambuyi wa Mlungu!
26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things, and enter into his glory?
Hashi, ifiruwa ndiri Kristu kukong'onderwa misumali mulupingika, shakapanu kingiri muukwisa wakuwi?”
27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Na Yesu Kawagambira vitwatira vyoseri vya vimuwusu mweni Mumalembu Mananagala mushintola sha Musa na shawalembiti wambuyi woseri wa Mlungu.
28 And they drew near to the village whither they were going; and he made as though he would go further.
Pawaweriti pakwegera na shijiji shawashigenderiti, Yesu katenda gambira kankwendereya na mwanja,
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, for it is towards evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to stay with them.
kumbiti womberi wamluwiti pawalonga, “Gwikali pamuwera na twenga, mana kwinala, na pashiru pankwingira.” Su kingira na kulikala pamuwera nawomberi.
30 And it came to pass, as he was at table with them, that he took the bread, and blessed it, and broke and gave it to them.
Pakalivagiti kuliya shiboga pamuwera na womberi, katola libumunda na kulitekelera, shakapanu kalimega na kuwapanana.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
Masu gawu gavugukiti na wammana, kumbiti kawukiti pamasu pawu.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked with us on the way, while he opened to us the Scriptures?
Su waligambirana weni, “Hashi myoyu yetu iweriti iyaka ndiri shipindi pakaweriti kankututakulira Malembu Mananagala munjira kulii?”
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,
Wawuka shipindi shilaa shilii na wawuyiti Yerusalemu, wawoniti wantumintumi walii lilongu na yumu na walii wamonga waweriti pamuwera pawalijojinira
34 saying, The Lord hath risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
na walonga, “Nakaka Mtuwa kazyuka! Kamlawira Simoni!”
35 And they told what had happened on the way, and how he became known to them in the breaking of the bread.
Su wantumini wawili wawagambira ntambu yagawapatiti munjira, na ntambu yawammaniti pakamega libumunda.
36 And while they were thus speaking, he himself stood in the midst of them.
Wantu awili pawaweriti wankuwagambira aga, palaa paliya Yesu mweni kagoloka pakati pawu na kawagambira, “Ponga iweri na mwenga.”
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit.
Walilimuka na waweriti na lyoga pawavimana wawona shihoka.
38 And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
Su Yesu kawagambira, “Iwera ashi mwana lyoga? Iwera ashi myoyu yenu itira?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Mloli mawoku gangu na magulu gangu na mloli neni ndo mweni. Mumbati mundoli na hamvimani, mana shihoka shahera nshimba na mafupa ntambu yamndola.”
Katakuliti aga na kawalanguziyiti mawoku na magulu gakuwi.
41 And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye anything here to eat?
Waweriti wankali pawagajimira ndiri, toziya ya manemu gawu na wankali wankulishera, Yesu kawakosiyiti, “Mwanashu shiboga shoseri panu shakuliya?”
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.
Wamupa shipandi sha somba wa kubanika,
43 And he took and ate it before them.
kashitoliti na kushiiliya, woseri pawamlola.
44 And he said to them, These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which are written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me.
Shakapanu kawagambira, “Ayi ndo mana ga visoweru vyanuwagambiriti pamweriti pamuhera na mwenga, kila shintu shawalembiti kwajili ya neni Mulilagaliru lya Musa, na mukulemba gawalembiti wambuyi wa Mlungu, na mushintola sha Zaburi gawera nakaka.”
45 Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures.
Shakapanu kagavugula mahala gawu kugamana Malembu Mananagala,
46 And he said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and should rise from the dead on the third day,
na kawagambira, “Ashi ndo shawalembiti, Kristu mpaka katabiki na mpaka kazyuki kulawa kwa wahowiti lishaka lya tatu kwanjira pakahowiti,
47 and that repentance for the remission of sins should be preached in his name among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
nalitawu lyakuwi muujumbi kwajili ya kuleka vidoda vyawatenda mpaka wawubweri kwa isi zoseri, kwanjira Yerusalemu.
48 Ye are witnesses of these things.
Mwenga mwa wakapitawu wa vitwatira avi.
49 And I send forth upon you that which hath been promised by my Father; but do ye tarry in the city, until ye are endued with power from on high.
Na neni mweni hanuwajegerani ulii mweni Tati yakalagiliti kumjega, su muheperi muisi uganu mpaka pawakupanani makakala galawiti kumpindi kwakuwi.”
50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany; and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
Su Kawalonguziyiti kunja kuisi mpaka Betaniya, kanyasula mawoku gakuwi kumpindi, na kawatekelera.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, that he parted from them.
Pakaweriti kankuwatekelera, kawaleka, kanyasulitwi kugenda kumpindi kwa Mlungu.
52 And they returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
Womberi wamguwira, na wawuyiti kugenda Yerusalemu, pawawera na nemeli nkulu,
53 and were continually in the temple, praising God.
na walikaliti shipindi shoseri Mnumba nkulu ya Mlungu pawamkwisa Mlungu.
