Luke 24
1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
१आठवड्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी त्या स्त्रिया अगदी पहाटेस कबरेकडे आल्या आणि त्यांनी स्वतः तयार केलेले सुगंधी मसाले आणले.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb;
२त्यांना धोंड कबरेवरुन लोटलेला आढळला.
3 and on entering they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
३त्या आत गेल्या, परंतु त्यांना प्रभू येशूचे शरीर सापडले नाही.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed about this, lo! two men stood by them in glittering apparel;
४यामुळे त्या अवाक झाल्या असतानाच, अचानक लखलखीत कपडे घातलेले दोन पुरूष त्यांच्या बाजूला उभे राहिले.
5 and when they were terrified, and bowed their faces to the earth, the men said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
५तेव्हा अतिशय भयभीत होऊन त्यांनी आपले चेहरे जमिनीकडे केली असता ते त्यांना म्हणाले, जो जिवंत आहे त्याचा शोध तुम्ही मरण पावलेल्यांमध्ये का करता?
6 He is not here, but hath risen. Remember how be spoke to you while yet in Galilee,
६तो येथे नाही; तो उठला आहे! तो गालील प्रांतात असताना त्याने तुम्हास काय सांगितले याची आठवण करा.
7 saying, The Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinners, and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.
७ते असे की, “मनुष्याच्या पुत्राला धरुन पापी लोकांच्या हाती द्यावे, त्यास वधस्तंभावर खिळावे आणि तिसऱ्या दिवशी त्याने उठावे.”
8 And they remembered his words.
८नंतर स्त्रियांना येशूच्या शब्दाची आठवण झाली.
9 And returning from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
९त्या कबरेपासून परतल्या आणि त्यांनी या सर्व गोष्टींचे वर्तमान अकरा प्रेषितांना व इतर सर्वांना सांगितले.
10 It was Mary the Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; and the other women with them told these things to the apostles.
१०त्या स्त्रिया मग्दालीया नगराची मरीया, योहान्ना आणि याकोबाची आई मरीया या होत्या. त्या आणि इतर स्त्रियांसुद्धा ज्या त्यांच्याबरोबर होत्या, प्रेषितांना या गोष्टी सांगत होत्या.
11 And these words seemed to them as an idle tale, and they did not believe them.
११पण प्रेषितांना त्यांचे सांगणे मूर्खपणाचे वाटले आणि त्यांनी त्यांच्यावर विश्वास ठेवला नाही.
१२पण पेत्र उठला आणि कबरेकडे पळाला. त्याने खाली वाकून पाहिले पण त्यास तागाच्या गुंडाळण्याच्या वस्त्राशिवाय काही आढळले नाही. जे घडले त्याविषयी तो स्वतःशीच आश्चर्य करीत दूर गेला.
13 And lo! two of them were going the same day to a village called Emmaus, distant a hundred and sixty furlongs from Jerusalem.
१३त्याच दिवशी त्याच्यातील दोघे शिष्य यरूशलेम शहरापासून सुमारे अकरा किलोमीटर अंतरावर असलेल्या अम्माऊस नावाच्या गावाला चालले होते.
14 And they were conversing together about all those things which had taken place.
१४ते एकमेकांशी या घडलेल्या सर्व गोष्टीविषयी बोलत होते.
15 And it came to pass, while they were conversing and reasoning, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
१५ते बोलत असताना आणि या गोष्टींची चर्चा करीत असताना येशू स्वतः आला आणि त्यांच्याबरोबर चालू लागला.
16 But their eyes were restrained from knowing him.
१६पण त्यांचे डोळे त्यास ओळखण्यापासून बंद करण्यात आले होते.
17 And he said to them, What discourse is this which ye have one with another, as ye are walking? And they stood sad.
१७येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “चालत असताना तुम्ही एकमेकांबरोबर बोलत आहात त्या गोष्टी कोणत्या आहेत?” चालता चालता ते थांबले. ते अतिशय दुःखी दिसले.
18 And one, whose name was Cleopas, answering said to him, Art thou the only sojourner in Jerusalem that doth not know the things which have come to pass there in these days?
१८त्यांच्यातील एकजण ज्याचे नाव क्लयपा होते, तो त्यास म्हणाला, “या दिवसांमध्ये घडलेल्या गोष्टी माहीत नसलेले असे यरूशलेम शहरात राहणारे तुम्ही एकटेच आहात काय?”
19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things relating to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in word and deed before God and all the people;
१९येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “तुमच्या मते कोणत्या गोष्टी?” ते त्यास म्हणाले, “नासरेथकर येशूविषयीच्या सर्व गोष्टी. हाच तो मनुष्य जो आपल्या कृत्यांनी आणि शब्दांनी देवासमोर आणि मनुष्यांसमोर एक महान संदेष्टा झाला.
20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
२०आणि आम्ही चर्चा करीत होतो की, कसे आमच्या मुख्य याजकांनी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांनी त्यास मरणदंड भोगण्यासाठी स्वाधीन केले आणि त्यांनी त्यास वधस्तंभी खिळले.
21 But we are hoping that it is he who is to redeem Israel; moreover, besides all this, it is the third day since these things were done.
२१आम्ही अशी आशा केली होती की, तोच एक आहे जो इस्राएलाची मुक्तता करील आणि या सगळ्याशिवाय हे सर्व घडून गेलेल्या गोष्टीला आज तीन दिवस झालेत.
22 And furthermore certain women of our company have amazed us; for going early to the tomb,
२२आणि आमच्या परिवारातील काही स्त्रियांनी आम्हास आश्चर्यचकित केले आहे. आज अगदी पहाटे त्या कबरेकडे गेल्या,
23 they did not find his body, and came, saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
२३परंतु त्यांना त्याचे शरीर सापडले नाही. त्यांनी येऊन आम्हास सांगितले की, त्यांना देवदूतांचे दर्शन झाले आणि देवदूतांनी सांगितले की, तो जिवंत आहे.
24 And some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it to be as the women had said; but him they saw not.
२४तेव्हा आमच्यातील काही कबरेकडे गेले आणि स्त्रियांनी जसे सांगितले होते, तसेच त्यांना आढळले, पण त्यांनी त्यास पाहिले नाही.”
25 And he said to them, O dull of apprehension, and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!
२५मग येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “संदेष्ट्यांनी सांगितलेल्या सर्व गोष्टींवर विश्वास ठेवण्यास तुम्ही अति मूर्ख आणि मंद आहात.
26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things, and enter into his glory?
२६ख्रिस्तासाठी या सर्व गोष्टी सहन करणे आणि त्याच्या गौरवात जाणे आवश्यक नव्हते काय?”
27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
२७आणि म्हणून त्याने मोशेपासून सुरुवात करून आणि सर्व संदेष्टयापर्यंत सांगून, शास्त्रलेखात त्याच्याविषयी काय लिहिले आहे ते सर्व त्याने त्यांना स्पष्ट करून सांगितले.
28 And they drew near to the village whither they were going; and he made as though he would go further.
२८ज्या खेड्याकडे ते जात होते, त्याच्याजवळ ते आले आणि येशूने असा बहाणा केला की, जणू काय तो पुढे जाणार आहे.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, for it is towards evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to stay with them.
२९परंतु जास्त आग्रह करून ते म्हणाले, “आमच्याबरोबर राहा कारण संध्याकाळ झालीच आहे आणि दिवसही मावळला आहे.” मग तो त्यांच्याबरोबर रहावयास आत गेला.
30 And it came to pass, as he was at table with them, that he took the bread, and blessed it, and broke and gave it to them.
३०जेव्हा तो त्यांच्याबरोबर जेवायला मेजासभोवती बसला, त्याने भाकर घेतली आणि उपकार मानले. नंतर त्याने ती मोडली व ती त्यांना तो देऊ लागला.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
३१तेव्हा त्यांचे डोळे उघडले आणि त्यांनी त्यास ओळखले. पण तो त्यांच्यातून अदृश्य झाला.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked with us on the way, while he opened to us the Scriptures?
३२मग ते एकमेकांना म्हणू लागले, “तो वाटेवर आपणाशी बोलत असताना व शास्त्रलेखाचा उलगडा करीत होता तेव्हा आपल्या अंतःकरणाला आतल्या आत उकळी येत नव्हती काय?”
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,
३३मग ते लगेच उठले व यरूशलेम शहरास परत गेले. तेव्हा त्यांना अकरा प्रेषित व त्यांच्याबरोबर असलेले इतर एकत्र जमलेले आढळले.
34 saying, The Lord hath risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
३४प्रेषित आणि इतरजण म्हणाले, “खरोखर प्रभू उठला आहे! आणि शिमोनाला दिसला आहे.”
35 And they told what had happened on the way, and how he became known to them in the breaking of the bread.
३५नंतर त्या दोन शिष्यांनी वाटेत काय घडले ते त्यांना सांगितले आणि तो भाकर मोडत असताना त्यांनी त्यास कसे ओळखले ते सांगितले.
36 And while they were thus speaking, he himself stood in the midst of them.
३६ते या गोष्टी त्यांना सांगत असतानाच येशू त्यांच्यामध्ये उभा राहिला आणि त्यास म्हणाला, “तुम्हास शांती असो.”
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit.
३७ते दचकले आणि भयभीत झाले. त्यांना असे वाटले की, ते भूत पाहत आहेत.
38 And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
३८तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “तुम्ही असे अस्वस्थ का झालात? तुमच्या मनात शंका का निर्माण झाल्या?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
३९माझे हात व पाय पाहा तुम्हास मी दिसतो तोच मी आहे. मला स्पर्श करा आणि पाहा की, मला आहे तसे हाडमांस भूताला नसते.”
४०असे बोलून त्याने त्यास आपले हातपाय दाखवले. तरीही त्यांच्या आनंदामुळे त्यांना ते खरे वाटेना.
41 And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye anything here to eat?
४१तरी आनंदामुळे विश्वास न धरता आश्चर्यचकित झाले तेव्हा येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “येथे तुमच्याजवळ खाण्यासाठी काय आहे?”
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.
४२मग त्यांनी त्यास भाजलेला माशाचा तुकडा दिला.
43 And he took and ate it before them.
४३त्याने तो घेतला व त्यांच्यासमोर खाल्ला.
44 And he said to them, These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which are written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me.
४४तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “याच त्या गोष्टी ज्या मी तुम्हाबरोबर असताना सांगितल्या होत्या की, मोशेचे नियमशास्त्र, संदेष्टे आणि स्तोत्रे यामध्ये माझ्याविषयी जे सांगितले आहे ते सर्व पूर्ण झालेच पाहिजे.”
45 Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures.
४५नंतर शास्त्रलेख समजण्यासाठी त्याने त्यांची मने उघडली.
46 And he said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and should rise from the dead on the third day,
४६मग तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “पवित्र शास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे की, ख्रिस्ताने दुःख भोगावे आणि मरण पावलेल्यातून तिसऱ्या दिवशी उठावे,
47 and that repentance for the remission of sins should be preached in his name among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
४७आणि यरूशलेम शहरापासून आरंभ करून सर्व राष्ट्रास त्याच्या नावाने पश्चात्ताप व पापांची क्षमा घोषित करण्यात यावी.
48 Ye are witnesses of these things.
४८या गोष्टींचे तुम्ही साक्षी आहात.
49 And I send forth upon you that which hath been promised by my Father; but do ye tarry in the city, until ye are endued with power from on high.
४९पाहा, माझ्या पित्याने देऊ केलेली देणगी मी तुमच्याकडे पाठवतो; तुम्ही स्वर्गीय सामर्थ्याने युक्त व्हाल तोपर्यंत या शहरात राहा.”
50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany; and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
५०नंतर तो त्यांना बाहेर दूरवर बेथानीपर्यंत घेऊन गेला आणि त्याने हात वर करून आशीर्वाद दिला.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, that he parted from them.
५१तो आशीर्वाद देत असतानाच तोपर्यंत आकाशात घेतला गेला.
52 And they returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
५२नंतर त्यांनी त्याची उपासना केली व ते मोठ्या आनंदाने यरूशलेम शहरास परतले.
53 and were continually in the temple, praising God.
५३आणि ते परमेश्वराच्या भवनात देवाचा धन्यवाद सतत करत राहिले.
