Luke 21
1 And he looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅᏃ ᏚᎪᎮ ᏧᏁᎿᎭᎢ ᎠᏂᎲᏍᎨ ᎠᏕᎸ-ᏗᏗᏱ ᎤᎾᎵᏍᎪᎸᏔᏅᎯ.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎤᎪᎮ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎤᏬᏑᎶᏨᎯ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᎲᏍᎨ ᏔᎵ ᎠᎩᏄᏛᏗ ᎢᏯᏓᏅᏖᏗ.
3 And he said, In truth I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎢᏨᏲᏎᎭ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎤᏬᏑᎶᏨᎯ ᎤᏟ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎠᎲᎦ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᏂᏐᎢ.
4 For all these out of their abundance cast in to the offerings; but she out of her penury cast in all the living that she had.
ᎯᎠᏰᏃ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎤᏂᎲ ᎤᏃᏣᎴᏛ ᎠᏂᎲᎦ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎯᎠᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᎤᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎤᎲᎠᎲᎦ.
5 And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and sacred gifts, he said,
ᎢᎦᏛᏃ ᎤᏂᏁᎢᏍᏔᏅ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᏚᎢᏍᏛ ᎬᏔᏅᏅᏯ ᏧᏬᏚᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎵᏍᎪᎸᏔᏅᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ;
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be throw down.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏕᏥᎪᏩᏗᎭ, ᏛᏍᏆᎸᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎥᏝ ᏌᏉᎤᏅ ᏅᏯ ᏱᏚᏓᏌᏝᎮᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎪᎲᏔᏅᎾ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
7 And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when then will these things be? and what will be the sign when these things are about to come to pass?
ᎬᏩᏛᏛᏁᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎢᎳᎪᏃ ᎢᏳ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏔᏂ? ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎠᎵᏰᎢᎶᎸᎭ?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying, I am He, and the time is at hand. Go not after them.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎢᏤᏯᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏥᎡᏥᎶᎾᏍᏔᏂ; ᎤᏂᏣᏖᏍᏗᏰᏃ ᎠᏴ ᏓᏆᏙᎥ ᎠᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᏴ [ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ] ᎠᎾᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎯᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏗᏥᏍᏓᏩᏛᏒᎩ.
9 And when ye hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass; but not immediately is the end.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᏣᏛᎩᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏓᏅᏩ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎲᎢ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᏥᏍᎦ-ᎢᎮᏍᏗ; ᎯᎠᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏎ ᎢᎬᏱ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗ, ᎥᏝᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᎬᏪᏅᏛᏉ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
10 Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏙᏛᎾᎴᏂ ᏙᏛᎾᏓᏡᏔᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏰᎵ ᏚᏙᏢᏩᏗᏒ ᏙᏛᎾᏓᏡᏔᏂ;
11 and there will be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙᎯ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏓᎵᏖᎸᏂᏙᎮᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᎪᏄᎶᏏᏙᎮᏍᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎥᏳᎩᎯᏳ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎮᏍᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏰᎯᏍᏗᏳ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎦᎾᏄᎪᎨᏍᏗ ᎦᎸᎶᎢ.
12 But before all these things they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues, and into prisons, and bringing you before kings and governors on account of my name.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏏ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎾ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏙᏓᎨᏥᏂᏴᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲ ᏅᏓᎨᏨᏁᎵ, ᏕᎨᏥᏲᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏧᏂᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏓᏍᏚᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᏣᏗᏃᎯᎮᏍᏗ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᏚᏃᎸ ᎢᎬᏱᏗᏢ ᎠᏴ ᏓᏆᏙᎥ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
13 It will turn out to you an opportunity for bearing testimony.
ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎧᏃᎮᏍᎩ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏕ ᎸᏙᏗ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate l beforehand what ye shall answer.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏂᏗᏧᎪᏕᏍᏗ ᏕᏣᏓᏅᏛᎢ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎤᏓᎷᎴᏍᏗ, ᎢᏣᏓᏅᏖᎯᏐᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎢᏥᏪᏍᏗᏱ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏕᎵᏍᎬᎢ.
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or gainsay.
ᎠᏴᏰᏃ ᏓᏨᏁᎵ ᎢᏥᏪᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎨᏣᏈᏗᏍᎩ ᏰᎵ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᎦᏘᎸᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏂᏎᎷᎩᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
16 And ye will be delivered up both by parents and brothers and kinsmen and friends; and some of you will they put to death.
ᎠᎴ ᏕᎨᏥᏲᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏗᏥᎦᏴᎵᎨᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᎵᏅᏟ, ᎠᎴ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏗᏣᏓᏛᎿᎭ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏣᎵᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏛᏅᏂᏌᏂ ᎩᎶ ᏂᎯ ᏤᏥᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
17 And ye will be hated by all on account of my name.
ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᏴᏫ ᎨᏥᏍᎦᎩ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ ᏓᏆᏙᎥ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
18 But not a hair of your head will be lost.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏌᏉᎤᏅ ᎢᏥᏍᏗᏰᎬ ᎢᏥᏍᎪᎵ ᎤᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
19 By your constancy secure your lives.
ᏗᏨᏂᏗᏳ ᎨᏒ ᏕᏥᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏗᏣᏓᏅᏙᎩ.
20 But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻᏃ ᎢᏥᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᏯᏫᏍᎩ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏚᎾᏚᏫᏍᏕᏍᏗ, ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎯᏗᏒᎢ.
21 Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are within the city go out of it, and let not those in the open country enter it.
ᎿᎭᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏗᏱ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎠᎾᎵᏒᎭ ᎣᏓᎵ ᏩᏂᎶᏒᎭ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏁᏙᎯ ᎠᏂᏄᎪᏨᎭ; ᎢᏴᏛᏃ ᏭᏩᎫᏛ ᏗᏁᎯ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎾᎿᎭᏳᏂᏴᎴᏍᏗ.
22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
ᎤᏞᎩᏰᏃ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎵᏱᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᎪᏪᎳᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ.
23 But woe to the women with child, and to those having children at the breast, in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people;
ᏗᏂᏁᎵᏛᏍᎩᏂ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏍᏓᎢ ᎤᏲᎢᏳ ᎢᏳᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ! ᎤᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎠᎩᎵᏯ ᎡᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᏂ ᎦᏙᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏔᎳᏬᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏂᎷᏤᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎯᎠ ᏴᏫ.
24 and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the gentiles, until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.
ᎠᏰᎳᏍᏗᏃ-ᎦᏅᎯᏛ ᏧᏂᏅᎢᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎨᏥᏴᎩᏅᎯ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏓᏁᏩᏗᏒ ᏫᏗᎨᎦᏘᏅᏍᏛᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻᏃ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎤᎾᎳᏍᏓᎡᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎬᏂ ᎠᏍᏆᏛᎭ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎨᎦᏓᏁᎳᏁᎸᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
25 And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves;
ᎤᏰᎸᏛᏃ ᎠᎪᏩᏛᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏅᏙ ᎢᎦ ᎡᎯ ᎧᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏙ ᏒᏃᏱ ᎡᎯ ᎧᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏃᏈᏏ ᎠᏂᎧᎸᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᎲ ᎤᏪᎵᎯᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏕᏯᏙᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᎵ; ᎠᎺᏉᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎹ ᏓᎵᏍᏗᎳᏁᎬ ᎤᏍᏆᏃᏴᎨᏍᏗ;
26 men's hearts failing them from fear, and from looking for those things which are coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
ᏴᏫ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᏚᎸᏕᎯᎮᏍᏗ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᎾᏰᏍᎬ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᎦᏖᏃᎲ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎡᎳᏂᎬ ᎤᎾᏄᎪᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎦᎸᎶ ᏣᏂᎧᎳ ᏛᎾᎵᏖᎸᏂ.
27 And then will they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏛᏂᎪᎯ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏣᎢᏎᏍᏗ ᎤᎶᎩᎸᎢ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎦᎸᏉᏗ ᏅᏧᏛᎿᎭᏗᏎᏍᏗ.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎠᎴᏅᎲᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎿᎭᏉ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏫᏗᏣᎧᎾᏅᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᏥᏌᎳᏓᏅᎭ ᏗᏥᏍᎪᎵ; ᎡᏧᏓᎴᏍᏗᏰᏃ ᎨᏒ ᎾᎥᏂᏳ ᏣᎢᏎᏍᏗ.
29 And he spoke to them a parable: Behold the fig-tree and all the trees;
ᎤᏁᏤᏃ ᏚᏟᎶᏍᏓᏁᎴᎢ; ᏗᏣᎧᏅᎦ ᎡᎦᏔ-ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏡᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏕᏡᎬᎢ;
30 when they have already shot forth, ye see it, and know of yourselves that summer is now nigh at hand.
ᎿᎭᏉ ᎩᎳ ᏥᎦᎳᏍᏚᎲᏍᎪᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏥᎪᏩᏛ ᎢᏨᏒᏉ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎰᎪᎩ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎾᎥᏂᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ.
31 So also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏂᎯ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎢᏥᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎾᎥᏂᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ.
32 Truly do I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, till all shall have taken place.
ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎪᎯ ᏣᏁᎭ ᎥᏝ ᏴᏛᏂᎶᏐᏂ ᎬᏂ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏔᏅᎭ.
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
ᎦᎸᎶᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏛᏂᎶᏐᏂ; ᎠᎩᏁᏨᏍᎩᏂ ᎥᏝ ᏴᏓᎦᎶᏐᏂ.
34 But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with surfeiting and drunkenness and worldly cares, and that day come upon you unawares.
ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏓᎦᏌᏯᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎢᏨᏒ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᎢᎸᎯᏳ ᏕᏣᏓᏅᏛ ᎦᎨᏛ ᏱᏂᏣᎵᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏱᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎢᏥᎶᏒᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᏥᏴᏍᏕᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏓᏅᏖᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎢᎦ ᏂᏤᎵᏍᎬᎾ ᎢᏥᎷᏤᏗᏱ.
35 For as a snare will it come on all that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
ᏣᏌᏙᏰᏃ ᎢᎦᎦᏛ ᏓᏳᏂᎷᏤᎵ ᏂᎬᎾᏛ ᏗᏁᎯ.
36 But watch at all times, and pray that ye may be able to escape all the things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎢᏥᏯᏫᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏂᎪᎯᎸᎢ, ᎢᏣᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎤᎵᏰᎢᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᏥᎩ ᎬᏩᎾᏗᏫᏎᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏤ ᎤᏬᎸ ᎢᎬᏱᏗᏢ ᎬᏩᎾᎴᏗ ᎦᏰᏤᎵᏎᏗ ᏱᏂᎦᎵᏍᏓ.
37 And during the daytime he was teaching in the temple; but at night he went out, and lodged in the mount called the Mount of Olives.
ᎢᎦᏃ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨ ᎤᏛᎾᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ; ᎤᏒᏃ ᎦᏄᎪᎨᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᎵᏩᏲᎯ ᏣᏃᏎᎰ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎤᏒᎯᎮᎢ.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᏴᏫ ᏑᎾᎴᎢᏳ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎮ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎬᏩᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ.
