< Luke 2 >
1 And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be registered.
Ni nton ri ni sen, Kaisar Agustus a yo doka ndu ba bla ndji bi gbungblu ba wawu.
2 (This registering was the first made while Quirinius was governor of Syria.)
Wa a mumlan bla kena, u kiri niyus na Gona umeme suriya.
3 And all went to be registered, each to his own city.
U ko ba nha ba lu hi ni gbumba na ka nha inde ba.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
Isuwu, me a lunde hi ni Galili; Ibgu Nazarat hi ni gbu Yahudiya, Igbu Dawuda, ni wa ba yo ni Batalami, nitu wa a rji ni koh nan hi mlan Dawuda.
5 to be registered with Mary who had been betrothed to him, who was with child.
Ahi nha nde ma ba Maryamu wa a nna'u wa ahe nne.
6 And it came to pass, while they were there, that the days for her delivery were completed.
U ba rhi he niki ri u inton ngrji vren ma ye.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swathing-clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Bi yi ba alama wa ba tsro yi'a: Bi toh kpran vren ba yo'u nimi ikpi a kakru ni nju yawo.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Ni yiu riro me, gbugbu ndji ni shulu ni Maleku ba gbre Irji san na ni tre andi,
14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men of good will!”
“Khikle ruron hi u Irji ni shulu, u dun si he ni ngbungblu ni ba ndji wa suron Irji ku si ni ba.”
15 And it came to pass, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said one to another, Let us go at once to Bethlehem, and see that which hath come to pass, which the Lord hath made known to us.

25 And lo! there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and he was a righteous and devout man, waiting for the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was upon him;
