Lamentations 3
1 I am the man that hath seen affliction under the rod of His wrath;
ଯେ ତାହାଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧରୂପ ପାଞ୍ଚଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଖିଅଛି, ମୁଁ ସେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ।
2 He hath led me and brought me into darkness, and not into light;
ସେ ମୋତେ ଆଲୁଅରେ ନୁହେଁ, ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଚଳାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
3 Yea, against me doth he again and again turn his hand all the day long.
ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦିନସାରା ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ପୁନଃ ପୁନଃ ଫେରାଉ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
4 My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.
ସେ ମୋହର ମାଂସ ଓ ମୋର ଚର୍ମ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
5 He hath builded against me, and encompassed me with bitterness and woe.
ସେ ମୋତେ ଅବରୁଦ୍ଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋତେ ତିକ୍ତତା ଓ ଶ୍ରାନ୍ତିରେ ବେଷ୍ଟିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
6 He hath set me in dark places, as those that have long been dead.
ସେ ବହୁ କାଳରୁ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
7 He hath hedged me about, so that I cannot get out; he hath made my chain heavy;
ସେ ମୋର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ସୁରକ୍ଷାର ବାଡ଼ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି ମୁଁ ବାହାରିଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ; ସେ ମୋହର ଜଞ୍ଜିର ଭାରୀ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
8 Yea, when I cry and call aloud, he shutteth out my prayer.
ହଁ, ମୁଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ୱର କଲେ, ସେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି।
9 He blocketh up my way with hewn stone; he maketh my paths crooked.
ସେ କଟା ପଥରରେ ମୋହର ପଥ ଅବରୋଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋର ପଥସବୁ ବକ୍ର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
10 A bear lying in wait hath he been to me, a lion in lurking-places.
ସେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ଛକି ବସିଥିବା ଭାଲୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ତରାଳରେ ଥିବା ସିଂହ ପରି ଅଟନ୍ତି।
11 He hath turned aside my ways, and torn me in pieces; he hath made me desolate.
ସେ ମୋର ପଥ ବିପଥ କରି ମୋତେ ଟାଣି ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ମୋତେ ଅନାଥ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
12 He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
ସେ ଆପଣା ଧନୁରେ ଗୁଣ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋତେ ତୀର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି।
13 He hath caused the sons of his quiver to pierce my reins.
ସେ ଆପଣା ତୂଣର ଶର ମୋହର ହୃଦୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
14 I have been a laughing-stock to all my people, their song all the day.
ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଲୋକସକଳର ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ ଓ ଦିନସାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗାୟନ ହୋଇଅଛି।
15 He hath filled me with bitterness; he hath made me drunk with wormwood.
ସେ ମୋତେ ତିକ୍ତତାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ନାଗଦଅଣାରେ ମୋତେ ପୂରିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel-stones; He hath covered me with ashes.
ଆହୁରି, ସେ କଙ୍କରରେ ମୋର ଦନ୍ତ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଭସ୍ମରେ ମୋତେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
17 Yea, thou hast removed my soul far from peace; I have forgotten prosperity.
ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଶାନ୍ତିରୁ ଦୂରରେ ରଖିଅଛ; ମୁଁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ପାସୋରି ଯାଇଅଛି।
18 And I say, “My confidence and my hope in Jehovah are gone!”
ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ମୋହର ବଳ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୋର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି।”
19 Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall!
ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଗତି ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ତାହା ନାଗଦଅଣା ଓ ବିଷ ସ୍ୱରୂପ।
20 Yea, thou wilt remember them, for my soul sinketh within me!
ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣରେ ରଖୁଅଛି ଓ ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅବସନ୍ନ ହେଉଅଛି।
21 This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope;
ମୁଁ ଏହା ମନରେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଥାଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୋହର ଭରସା ଅଛି।
22 It is of the mercy of Jehovah that we are not consumed; yea, his compassion faileth not;
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିବିଧ ଦୟା ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନାହୁଁ, କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର କରୁଣା ଶେଷ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
23 It is new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.
ସେହି ସବୁ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ନୂତନ ହୋଇଥାଏ; ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ମହତ୍ ଅଟେ।
24 Jehovah is my portion, saith my soul, therefore do I hope in him.
ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ କୁହେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ବାଣ୍ଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖିବି।”
25 Jehovah is good to them that trust in him, to the soul that seeketh him.
ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରେ, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ସେ ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
26 It is good that a man hope, and quietly wait for salvation from Jehovah.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା କରି ସୁସ୍ଥିର ଭାବରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାର ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମଙ୍ଗଳ।
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth;
ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ଯୁଆଳି ବୋହିବା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଅଟେ।
28 That he sit alone and keep silence, since He layeth it upon him;
ସେ ଏକାକୀ ବସି ନୀରବ ହୋଇ ରହୁ, କାରଣ ସେ ତାହାର ସ୍କନ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଆଳି ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି।
29 That he put his mouth in the dust, [[saying to himself, ]] “Perhaps there may be hope!”
ସେ ଧୂଳିରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖୁ; ତାହାହେଲେ ଅବା ଭରସା ଥାଇପାରେ।
30 That he offer his cheek to the smiter; that he be filled with reproach.
ଯେ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରେ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଆପଣା ଗାଲ ଦେଖାଇ ଦେଉ; ସେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅପମାନରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉ।
31 For the Lord will not cast off forever;
କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାକାଳ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
32 For though he cause grief, yet doth he have compassion according to his great mercy;
କାରଣ ଯଦ୍ୟପି ସେ ଦୁଃଖ ଘଟାନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ଆପଣାର ଅପାର ଦୟାନୁସାରେ ସେ କରୁଣା କରିବେ।
33 For he doth not willingly afflict and grieve the children of men.
କାରଣ ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାରେ କ୍ଳେଶ କିଅବା ଦୁଃଖ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
34 Doth one trample under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
ପୃଥିବୀର ବନ୍ଦୀସକଳ ପଦ ତଳେ ଦଳିତ ହେବାର,
35 Doth he bend the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ସତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଅନ୍ୟଥା ହେବାର,
36 Doth he subvert a man in his cause, and shall not the Lord behold it?
ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ବିବାଦ ଅଯଥାର୍ଥ ରୂପେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହେବାର, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord hath not commanded?
ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ନ କଲେ, ଯେ କଥା କହେ ଓ ତାହା ସିଦ୍ଧ ହୁଏ, ଏପରି କିଏ ଅଛି?
38 Cometh not evil, as well as good, from the mouth of the Most High?
ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କି ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ?
39 Wherefore then murmureth the living man? Let him murmur at his own sin!
ଜୀବିତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କାହିଁକି ଅସନ୍ତୋଷର କଥା କହେ, ଆପଣା ପାପର ଦଣ୍ଡ ସକାଶୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କାହିଁକି ଅସନ୍ତୋଷର କଥା କହେ?
40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Jehovah!
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପଥ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ ଓ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁ, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରୁ।
41 Let us lift up our hearts with our hands to God in the heavens!
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ନିବାସୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼େ କୃତାଞ୍ଜଳିପୂର୍ବକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟ ଉଠାଉ।
42 We have transgressed; we have rebelled; thou hast not forgiven!
“ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘନ ଓ ବିଦ୍ରୋହାଚରଣ କରିଅଛୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷମା କରି ନାହଁ।
43 Thou hast hidden thyself in anger, and hast pursued us; thou hast slain and hast not spared;
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଧ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୟା କରି ନାହଁ।
44 Thou hast hidden thyself in a cloud, that our prayer may not pass through;
ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଯେପରି ଭେଦ କରି ଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ମେଘରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ।
45 Thou hast made us the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the nations.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଝଟା ଅଳିଆ ଓ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ।
46 All our enemies have opened their mouths against us;
ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫର୍ଚ୍ଚା କରି ମେଲାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
47 Terror and the pit have come upon us, desolation and destruction;
ତ୍ରାସ ଓ ଖାତ, ଉଜାଡ଼ ଓ ବିନାଶ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିଅଛି।
48 Mine eye runneth down with streams of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
ମୋʼ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାର ବିନାଶ ସକାଶୁ ମୋʼ ଚକ୍ଷୁରୁ ଜଳଧାରା ବହୁଅଛି।
49 Mine eye trickleth down and ceaseth not, without any intermission,
ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଅନାଇ ନ ଦେଖନ୍ତି,
50 Until Jehovah look down and behold from heaven.
ସେଯାଏ, ମୋର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଅବିଶ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଅଶ୍ରୁ ବର୍ଷାଉଅଛି, ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେଉ ନାହିଁ।
51 Mine eye is painful to me on account of all the daughters of my city.
ମୋʼ ନଗରୀର ସକଳ କନ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଦୁଃଖ ଆଣେ।
52 They that are my enemies without cause hunt me down like a bird;
ବିନା କାରଣରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ମୃଗୟା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
53 They take away my life in the dungeon; they cast a stone upon me;
ସେମାନେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ ସଂହାର କରି ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପକାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
54 Waters flow over my head; I say, “I am undone!”
ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକର ଉପର ଦେଇ ଜଳ ବହିଗଲା ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ମୁଁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲି।
55 I call upon thy name, O Jehovah, from the deep dungeon;
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ଗଭୀରତମ କୂପ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି।
56 Hear thou my voice! hide not thine ear from my cry for relief!
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିଲ ମୋର ନିଶ୍ୱାସ, ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଲୁଚାଅ ନାହିଁ।
57 Be near to me, when I call upon thee! Say, “Fear not!”
ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛାମୁରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି, ସେଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଲ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଲ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ।
58 Thou maintainest my cause, O Lord; thou redeemest my life!
ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣର ବିବାଦସକଳର ସପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ଜୀବନ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛ।
59 Thou, O Jehovah, seest the wrong done to me; Maintain thou my cause!
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି କୃତ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର।
60 Thou seest all their vengeance, all their devices against me.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ଓ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୃତ ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ଦେଖିଅଛ।
61 Thou hearest their reproach, O Jehovah, all their devices against me,
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ତିରସ୍କାର ଓ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୃତ ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ଶୁଣିଅଛ;
62 The words of my adversaries, and their machinations against me all the day long!
ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠିଲା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରର କଥା ଓ ଦିନଯାକ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଳ୍ପନାସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଅଛ।
63 Behold their sitting down and their rising up! I am their song.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବସିବାର ଓ ଉଠିବାର ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର; ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗାୟନ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଅଛି।
64 Render to them a recompense, O Jehovah, according to the work of their hands!
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବ।
65 Give them blindness of mind! thy curse be upon them!
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିତ୍ତର କଠିନତା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେବ।
66 Pursue them in thine anger, and destroy them from under Jehovah's heaven!
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ତଳୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବ।”
