Jude 1
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called, loved in God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ:
Mimi Yuda, mtumishi wa Yesu Kristo, ndugu yake Yakobo, nawaandikia ninyi mlioitwa na Mungu na ambao mnaishi katika upendo wa Mungu Baba, na katika ulinzi wa Yesu Kristo.
2 Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
Nawatakieni huruma, amani na upendo kwa wingi.
3 Beloved, while giving all diligence to write to you, I found it necessary to write to you concerning the common salvation, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
Ndugu wapenzi, wakati nimo katika jitihada ya kuwaandikieni juu ya ule wokovu tunaoshiriki sote, nimeona lazima ya kuwaandikieni na kuwahimizeni mwendelee kupigana kwa ajili ya imani ambayo Mungu amewajalia watu wake mara moja tu kwa wakati wote.
4 For there have stealthily crept in certain men who were of old appointed beforehand for this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into wantonness, and denying the only Sovereign, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Maana watu wasiomcha Mungu wamepata kujiingiza kwa siri miongoni mwetu, watu ambao, kwa faida ya maisha yao mabaya, wanaupotosha ujumbe wa neema ya Mungu wetu na kumkana Yesu Kristo aliye peke yake kiongozi na Bwana wetu. Maandiko Matakatifu yalikwisha bashiri tangu awali hukumu inayowangojea watu hao.
5 But I wish to remind you as once knowing it all, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who believed not;
Nataka kuwakumbusheni mambo fulani ambayo mmekwisha yajua: kumbukeni jinsi Bwana alivyowaokoa watu wa Israeli na kuwatoa katika nchi ya Misri, lakini baadaye aliwaangamiza wale ambao hawakuamini.
6 and the angels which kept not their principality, but left their own dwelling-place, he hath kept in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day; (aïdios g126)
Na, malaika ambao hawakuridhika na cheo chao, wakayaacha makao yao ya asili, Mungu amewafunga gizani kwa minyororo ya milele wahukumiwe Siku ile kuu. (aïdios g126)
7 even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner with them giving themselves over to fornication, and going away after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
Kumbukeni pia Sodoma na Gomora, na miji ya kandokando yake; wenyeji wake walifanya kama wale malaika; walifanya uzinzi na mambo yaliyo kinyume cha maumbile, wakapewa hukumu ya moto wa milele, iwe onyo kwa watu wote. (aiōnios g166)
8 Yet in like manner these dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and rail at dignities.
Hivyo ndivyo pia walivyo watu hawa. ndoto zao huwaongoza katika kuichafua miili yao wenyewe, kuyadharau mamlaka ya Mungu na kuvitukana viumbe vitukufu vya huko juu.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the Devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said: The Lord rebuke thee.
Hata Mikaeli, malaika mkuu, hakufanya hivyo. Katika ule ubishi kati yake na Ibilisi waliobishana juu ya mwili wa Mose, Mikaeli hakuthubutu kumhukumu Ibilisi kwa matusi; ila alisema: “Bwana mwenyewe na akukaripie.”
10 But these rail at the things which they know not; but what things they understand naturally, as brute beasts, in these they corrupt themselves.
Lakini watu hawa hutukana chochote wasichokielewa; mambo yaleyale wanayoyajua kwa silika kama vile wanyama wanayoyajua ndiyo yanayowaangamiza.
11 Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed on in the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
Ole wao! Watu hao wamefuata mwenendo uleule wa Kaini. Kwa ajili ya fedha, wamejiingiza katika mkosi uleule wa Baalamu. Wameasi kama Kora alivyoasi na wameangamizwa kama yeye alivyoangamizwa.
12 These are the rocks in your feasts of love, feasting together without fear, feeding only themselves; clouds without water, carried away by winds; trees in late autumn, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Kwa makelele yao yasiyo na adabu, watu hao ni kama madoa machafu katika mikutano yenu ya karamu ya Bwana. Hujipendelea wao wenyewe tu, na wako kama mawingu yanayopeperushwa huko na huko na upepo bila ya kuleta mvua. Wao ni kama miti isiyozaa matunda hata wakati wa majira yake, wamekufa kabisa.
13 raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
Watu hao ni kama mawimbi makali ya bahari, na matendo yao ya aibu yanaonekana dhahiri kama vile mapovu ya mawimbi. Wao ni kama nyota zinazotangatanga, ambao Mungu amewawekea mahali pao milele katika giza kuu. (aiōn g165)
14 Yea, and against these Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord cometh in the midst of his holy myriads,
Henoki, ambaye ni babu wa saba tangu Adamu, alibashiri hivi juu ya watu hawa: “Sikilizeni! Bwana atakuja pamoja na maelfu ya malaika wake watakatifu
15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly among them of all the deeds of their ungodliness which they committed; and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners spoke against him.”
kutoa hukumu juu ya binadamu wote, kuwahukumu wote kwa ajili ya matendo yao yote maovu waliyotenda na kwa ajili ya maneno yote mabaya ambayo watu waovu walimkashifu nayo.”
16 These are murmurers, complaining of their lot, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words; admiring men's persons, for the sake of profit.
Watu hawa wananung'unika daima na kuwalaumu watu wengine. Hufuata tamaa zao mbaya, hujigamba na kuwasifu watu wengine mno kusudi wafaulu katika mipango yao.
17 But do ye, beloved, remember the words which were before spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Lakini ninyi wapenzi wangu, kumbukeni yale mliyoambiwa hapo awali ni mitume wa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo.
18 that they told you that at the last time there would be scoffers, walking according to their own ungodly lusts.
Waliwaambieni: “Siku za mwisho zitakapofika, watatokea watu watakaowadhihaki ninyi, watu wafuatao tamaa zao mbaya.”
19 These are they that separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit.
Hao ndio watu wanaosababisha mafarakano, watu wanaotawaliwa na tamaa zao za kidunia, watu wasio na Roho wa Mungu.
20 But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Lakini ninyi, wapenzi wangu, endeleeni kujijenga kikamilifu katika imani yenu takatifu. Salini kwa nguvu ya Roho Mtakatifu,
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
na kubaki katika upendo wa Mungu, mkiwa mnamngojea Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo awapeni uzima wa milele kwa huruma yake. (aiōnios g166)
22 And some rebuke when they contend; and others save, snatching them out of the fire; and on others have compassion
Muwe na huruma kwa watu walio na mashaka;
23 with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
waokoeni kwa kuwanyakua kutoka motoni; na kwa wengine muwe na huruma pamoja na hofu, lakini chukieni hata mavazi yao ambayo yamechafuliwa na tamaa zao mbaya.
24 But to him that is able to keep them from falling, and to present them faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Kwake yeye awezaye kuwalinda msije mkaanguka, na kuwaleta ninyi bila hatia mpaka mbele ya utukufu wake,
25 to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, is glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
kwake yeye aliye peke yake Mungu, Mkombozi wetu, uwe utukufu, ukuu, nguvu na mamlaka kwa njia ya Kristo Bwana wetu, tangu zama zote, sasa na hata milele! Amina. (aiōn g165)
