Jude 1
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called, loved in God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ:
Judas, siervo de Jesucristo y hermano de Santiago, a los llamados, santificados por Dios Padre y guardados para Jesucristo:
2 Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
Que se os multiplique la misericordia, la paz y el amor.
3 Beloved, while giving all diligence to write to you, I found it necessary to write to you concerning the common salvation, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
Amados, mientras estaba muy ansioso por escribiros acerca de nuestra salvación común, me vi obligado a escribiros exhortándoos a que contendáis ardientemente por la fe que fue entregada una vez por todas a los santos.
4 For there have stealthily crept in certain men who were of old appointed beforehand for this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into wantonness, and denying the only Sovereign, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Porque hay algunos hombres que se han introducido secretamente, incluso aquellos que hace tiempo fueron escritos para esta condenación: hombres impíos, que convierten la gracia de nuestro Dios en indecencia, y niegan a nuestro único Maestro, Dios y Señor, Jesucristo.
5 But I wish to remind you as once knowing it all, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who believed not;
Ahora quiero recordaros, aunque ya lo saben, que el Señor, habiendo salvado a un pueblo de la tierra de Egipto, después destruyó a los que no creyeron.
6 and the angels which kept not their principality, but left their own dwelling-place, he hath kept in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day; (aïdios g126)
A los ángeles que no guardaron su primer dominio, sino que abandonaron su propia morada, los ha guardado en prisiones eternas bajo las tinieblas para el juicio del gran día. (aïdios g126)
7 even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner with them giving themselves over to fornication, and going away after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
Así como Sodoma y Gomorra y las ciudades que las rodeaban, habiéndose entregado de la misma manera que éstas a la inmoralidad sexual y a ir en pos de la carne extraña, se muestran como ejemplo, sufriendo el castigo del fuego eterno. (aiōnios g166)
8 Yet in like manner these dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and rail at dignities.
Pero de la misma manera, estos también en sus sueños contaminan la carne, desprecian la autoridad y calumnian a los seres celestiales.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the Devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said: The Lord rebuke thee.
Pero el arcángel Miguel, cuando contendía con el diablo y discutía sobre el cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a lanzar contra él una condena abusiva, sino que dijo: “¡Que el Señor te reprenda!”
10 But these rail at the things which they know not; but what things they understand naturally, as brute beasts, in these they corrupt themselves.
Pero estos hablan mal de las cosas que no conocen. Se destruyen en estas cosas que entienden naturalmente, como las criaturas sin razón.
11 Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed on in the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
¡Ay de ellos! Porque siguieron el camino de Caín, y corrieron desenfrenadamente en el error de Balaam por encargo, y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré.
12 These are the rocks in your feasts of love, feasting together without fear, feeding only themselves; clouds without water, carried away by winds; trees in late autumn, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Estos son arrecifes rocosos escondidos en tus fiestas de amor cuando festejan contigo, pastores que sin temor se alimentan a sí mismos; nubes sin agua, arrastradas por los vientos; árboles otoñales sin fruto, dos veces muertos, arrancados de raíz;
13 raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
olas salvajes del mar, que espuman su propia vergüenza; estrellas errantes, para las que se ha reservado la negrura de las tinieblas para siempre. (aiōn g165)
14 Yea, and against these Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord cometh in the midst of his holy myriads,
Acerca de éstos también profetizó Enoc, el séptimo desde Adán, diciendo: “He aquí que el Señor vino con diez mil de sus santos,
15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly among them of all the deeds of their ungodliness which they committed; and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners spoke against him.”
para ejecutar el juicio sobre todos, y para condenar a todos los impíos por todas sus obras de impiedad que han hecho impíamente, y por todas las cosas duras que los pecadores impíos han hablado contra él.”
16 These are murmurers, complaining of their lot, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words; admiring men's persons, for the sake of profit.
Estos son murmuradores y quejumbrosos, que andan en pos de sus lujurias, y su boca habla cosas soberbias, haciendo acepción de personas para sacar provecho.
17 But do ye, beloved, remember the words which were before spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Pero vosotros, amados, acordaos de las palabras que han dicho antes los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
18 that they told you that at the last time there would be scoffers, walking according to their own ungodly lusts.
Ellos os dijeron: “En el último tiempo habrá burladores, que andarán según sus propios deseos impíos”.
19 These are they that separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit.
Estos son los que causan divisiones y son sensuales, no teniendo el Espíritu.
20 But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Pero vosotros, amados, seguid edificando sobre vuestra santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo.
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Manteneos en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para la vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
22 And some rebuke when they contend; and others save, snatching them out of the fire; and on others have compassion
De algunos tened compasión, haciendo distinción,
23 with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
y de otros salvad, arrebatándolos del fuego con temor, odiando incluso la ropa manchada por la carne.
24 But to him that is able to keep them from falling, and to present them faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Ahora bien, a aquel que es capaz de evitarles el tropiezo y de presentarlos impecables ante la presencia de su gloria con gran alegría,
