Jude 1
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called, loved in God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ:
Juudas, Jesuksen Kristuksen palvelia, mutta Jakobin veli, niille kutsutuille, jotka Isässä Jumalassa pyhitetyt ovat ja Jesuksessa Kristuksessa vapahdetut:
2 Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
Laupius ja rauha ja rakkaus lisääntyköön teille!
3 Beloved, while giving all diligence to write to you, I found it necessary to write to you concerning the common salvation, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
Te rakkaat! että minulla oli suuri ahkeruus teille yhteisestä autuudesta kirjoittaa, pidin minä sen tarpeellisena teitä kirjoituksella neuvoa, että te uskon puolesta kilvoittelisitte, joka kerta pyhille annettu on.
4 For there have stealthily crept in certain men who were of old appointed beforehand for this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into wantonness, and denying the only Sovereign, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sillä muutamat ihmiset ovat luikahtaneet sisälle, jo muinen kirjoitetut tähän tuomioon, jumalattomat, jotka meidän Jumalan armon vetävät haureuteen ja kieltävät Jumalan, joka ainoa hallitsia on, ja meidän Herran Jesuksen Kristuksen.
5 But I wish to remind you as once knowing it all, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who believed not;
Mutta minä tahdon teille muistuttaa, että te sen kerran tietäisitte, että koska Herra kansansa Egyptistä terveenä pelastanut oli, hukkasi hän sitte ne, jotka ei uskoneet.
6 and the angels which kept not their principality, but left their own dwelling-place, he hath kept in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day; (aïdios g126)

7 even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner with them giving themselves over to fornication, and going away after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
Niinkuin Sodoma ja Gomorra ja ne lähikaupungit, jotka sillä muotoa kuin hekin huorin tehneet olivat ja muukalaisen lihan jälkeen menneet, ovat pannut muille opiksi, ijankaikkisen tulen vaivaa kärsimään. (aiōnios g166)
8 Yet in like manner these dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and rail at dignities.
Niin ovat myös nämät unennäkiät, jotka lihan saastuttavat, hallitukset katsovat ylön ja majesteetteja pilkkaavat.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the Devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said: The Lord rebuke thee.
Mutta Mikael, ylimmäinen enkeli, kuin hän perkeleen kanssa riiteli ja kamppaili Moseksen ruumiista, ei rohjennut sanoa sen pilkan tuomiota, vaan sanoi: Herra sinua rangaiskoon!
10 But these rail at the things which they know not; but what things they understand naturally, as brute beasts, in these they corrupt themselves.
Mutta nämät pilkkaavat niitä, joista ei he mitään tiedä; vaan mitä he luonnon kautta tietävät niinkuin muut järjettömät eläimet, niissä he turmeltuvat.
11 Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed on in the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
Voi heitä! sillä he käyvät Kainin tiellä ja lankeevat Balaamin eksytykseen palkan tähden, ja hukkuvat Koren kapinassa.
12 These are the rocks in your feasts of love, feasting together without fear, feeding only themselves; clouds without water, carried away by winds; trees in late autumn, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Nämät ovat häpiäpilkut vieraana ollessansa teidän rakkaus-aterioissanne, jotka ravitsevat itsiänsä pelkäämättä: he ovat vedettömät pilvet, jotka tuulelta ajetaan ympäri, paljaat, hedelmättömät puut, kahdesti kuolleet, juurinensa reväistyt ylös;
13 raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
Meren julmat aallot, jotka oman häpiänsä vaahtuvat; eksyväiset tähdet, joille pimeyden kauheus on ijankaikkisesti tähdelle pantu. (aiōn g165)
14 Yea, and against these Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord cometh in the midst of his holy myriads,
Niin on myös Enok, seitsemäs Adamista, senkaltaisista ennustanut ja sanonut: katso, Herra tulee monen tuhannen pyhäinsä kanssa,
15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly among them of all the deeds of their ungodliness which they committed; and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners spoke against him.”
Tekemään kaikkein tuomiota, ja rankaisemaan kaikkia jumalattomia heidän seassansa, kaikkein heidän jumalattomain töittensä tähden, joilla he pahaa tehneet ovat, ja kaikkea sitä kovaa, jota ne jumalattomat syntiset häntä vastaan puhuneet ovat.
16 These are murmurers, complaining of their lot, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words; admiring men's persons, for the sake of profit.
Nämät ovat napisiat ja valittajat, omain himoinsa jälkeen vaeltavaiset, ja heidän suunsa puhuu röyhkeitä sanoja ja he ihmettelevät ihmisiä hyödytyksen tähden.
17 But do ye, beloved, remember the words which were before spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Mutta te, rakkaat veljet, muistakaat niitä sanoja, joita ennen meidän Herran Jesuksen Kristuksen apostoleilta sanottiin:
18 that they told you that at the last time there would be scoffers, walking according to their own ungodly lusts.
Että viimeisellä ajalla tulevat pilkkaajat, jotka jumalattomissa himoissansa vaeltavat.
19 These are they that separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit.
Nämät ovat ne, jotka eriseurat tekevät, lihalliset, joilla ei henkeä ole.
20 But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Mutta te, minun rakkaani! rakentakaat itsiänne teidän kaikkein pyhimmän uskonne päälle, Pyhän Hengen kautta, ja rukoilkaat, pitäin teitänne keskenänne Jumalan rakkaudessa,
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Ja odottakaat meidän Herran Jesuksen Kristuksen laupiutta ijankaikkiseen elämään. (aiōnios g166)
22 And some rebuke when they contend; and others save, snatching them out of the fire; and on others have compassion
Ja pitäkäät se eroitus, että te muutamia armahtaisitte,
23 with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Mutta muutamia pelvolla autuaaksi tekisitte, ja temmatkaat heitä ulos tulesta, ja vihatkaat sitä lihalta saastutettua hametta.
24 But to him that is able to keep them from falling, and to present them faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Mutta hänelle, joka teidät voi viasta varjella ja asettaa nuhteetoinna kunniansa kasvoin eteen, riemulla,
25 to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, is glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Ainoalle viisaalle Jumalalle, meidän Vapahtajallemme, olkoon kunnia, ja majesteetti, ja valta, ja voima, nyt ja kaikessa ijankaikkisuudessa, amen! (aiōn g165)
