< John 9 >

1 And as he was passing along, he saw a man who had been blind from his birth.
Wana Yesu azalaki kokende, amonaki moto moko akufa miso wuta mbotama na ye.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Bayekoli na Ye batunaki Ye: — Moteyi, nani asalaki masumu mpo ete moto oyo abotama mokufi miso: boni, ezali ye moko to baboti na ye?
3 Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but that the works of God might be made manifest in him.
4 We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night is coming, when no one can work.
Lokola moyi ezali, esengeli na Ngai kosala misala ya Ye oyo atindaki Ngai; butu ezali koya, oyo moto ata moko te akokoka kosala mosala.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 Having thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay with the spittle, and anointed his eyes with the clay,
7 and said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam; (which is, when translated, Sent.) He went away therefore, and washed and came seeing.
Mokufi miso akendeki mpe asukolaki. Tango azongaki, abandaki komona.
8 The neighbors therefore, and they who before had seen him as a beggar, said, Is not this he that sits and begs?
Bato oyo bazalaki zingazinga na ye mpe ba-oyo bazalaki komona ye kosenga-senga mbongo bakomaki koloba: — Boni, ezali ye te moto oyo azalaki tango nyonso ya kovanda mpo na kosenga-senga mbongo?
9 Some said, This is he. Others said, No, but he is like him. He said, I am he.
Bamoko bazalaki koloba: — Ezali ye! Kasi ye moko, mokufi miso, azalaki koloba: — Ezali ngai!
10 They said therefore to him How then were thine eyes opened?
Bongo batunaki ye: — Miso na yo ebikaki ndenge nini?
11 He answered, The man who is called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes, and said to me, Go to Siloam, and wash. I went therefore and washed, and received sight.
Azongiselaki bango: — Moto oyo babengaka Yesu asalaki potopoto, apakolaki ngai yango na miso, bongo alobaki na ngai: « Kende kosukola na Siloe. » Boye, nakendeki, nasukolaki mpe, mbala moko, nakomaki komona.
12 And they said to him, Where is that man? He saith, I do not know.
Batunaki ye lisusu: — Moto yango azali wapi? Azongisaki: — Nayebi te!
13 They bring to the Pharisees him who had once been blind.
Bamemaki liboso ya Bafarizeo, mokufi miso oyo abikaki.
14 And the day on which Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes was the sabbath.
15 Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed them, and I see.
Yango wana Bafarizeo mpe batunaki ye soki ndenge nini miso na ye ebikaki. Azongiselaki bango: — Atiaki ngai potopoto na miso, nasukolaki mpe nakomi komona.
16 Therefore some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he keepeth not the sabbath. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such signs. And there was a division among them.
Kasi bamosusu balobaki: — Ndenge nini moto ya masumu akoki kozwa bokonzi ya kosala bikamwa ya ndenge wana? Bokabwani ekotaki kati na bango.
17 They say therefore to the blind man again, What dost thou say of him for having opened thine eyes? And he said, He is a prophet.
Azongiselaki bango: — Azali mosakoli.
18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
Bayuda baboyaki kondima ete azalaki liboso mokufi miso mpe ete abiki. Boye, babengaki baboti na ye
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? How then doth he now see?
mpe batunaki bango: — Mobali oyo azali mwana na bino? Boni, abotama solo mokufi miso? Ndenge nini sik’oyo akomi komona?
20 His parents, answered and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
Baboti na ye bazongisaki: — Toyebi ete azali mwana na biso mpe ete abotama mokufi miso;
21 but by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who opened his eyes, we know not; ask him, he is of age; he will speak for himself.
kasi mpo na oyo etali koyeba ndenge nini akomi komona sik’oyo mpe nani abikisi ye, toyebi eloko te. Botuna ye moko. Azali mokolo; akoloba na tina na ye moko.
22 This his parents said, because they feared the Jews. For the Jews had already agreed, that if any one should acknowledge him as the Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore his parents said, He is of age; ask him.
Yango wana baboti na ye bazongisaki: « Botuna ye moko, azali mokolo. »
24 They therefore called a second time the man that had been blind, and said to him, Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He therefore answered, Whether he is a sinner, I know not; one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
Azongiselaki bango: — Soki azali moto ya masumu, wana ngai nayebi yango te; kasi ngai nayebi kaka likambo moko: nazalaki mokufi miso, kasi sik’oyo, nakomi komona.
26 They said to him, What did he do to thee? How did he open thine eyes?
Batunaki ye lisusu: — Asalaki yo nini? Abikisaki miso na yo ndenge nini?
27 He answered them, I have already told you, and ye did not hear; why would ye hear it again? Are ye also inclined to become his disciples?
Azongiselaki bango: — Nasilaki koyebisa bino yango, kasi boyokaki te. Bongo mpo na nini bolingi lisusu koyoka yango? Boni, bino mpe bolingi kokoma bayekoli na ye?
28 They reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are disciples of Moses.
Bongo Bafarizeo bakomaki kofinga ye mpe koloba: — Ezali yo nde ozali moyekoli na ye; biso tozali bayekoli ya Moyize.
29 We know that God hath spoken to Moses; but as for this man, we know not whence he is.
Toyebi ete Nzambe alobaki na Moyize; kasi moto wana, toyebi kutu te soki awuti wapi!
30 The man answered and said to them, Why, herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he opened my eyes.
Moto yango azongisaki: — Oh, ezali penza likambo ya kokamwa soki boyebi te epai nini awuti! Kasi mpo na ngai, abikisi miso na ngai.
31 We know that God heareth not sinners; but if any one is a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Toyebi biso nyonso ete Nzambe ayokaka bato ya masumu te, kasi ayokaka nde moto oyo atosaka Ye mpe asalaka mokano na Ye.
32 Since the world began, it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind. (aiōn g165)
Mpe totikala nanu koyoka te ete moto abikisi moto moko akufa miso wuta mbotama na ye. (aiōn g165)
33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.
Soki moto wana awutaki epai ya Nzambe te, akokaki kosala ata eloko moko te.
34 They answered and said to him, Thou wast wholly born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
Bazongiselaki ye: — Ndenge nini yo moto oyo obotama mobimba kati na lisumu oteya biso? Boye, babenganaki ye.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and he found him, and said, Dost thou believe in the Son of man?
Tango Yesu ayokaki ete babengani moto wana, akendeki kokutana na ye mpe alobaki na ye: — Boni, ondimi Mwana na Moto?
36 He answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?
Moto wana azongiselaki Ye: — Nkolo, azali nani? Yebisa ngai mpo ete nandima Ye.
37 Jesus said to him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
Yesu alobaki: — Omoni Ye! Ezali Ye oyo azali koloba na yo.
38 And he said, I believe, Lord; and he prostrated himself before him.
Moto yango azongisaki: — Nkolo, nandimi. Mpe agumbamelaki Ye.
39 And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world; that they who see not might see, and that they who see might become blind.
Yesu alobaki: — Nayaki mpo na kotia bososoli kati na mokili; mpo ete bakufi miso bakoma komona, mpe ba-oyo bazali komona bakoma bakufi miso.
40 Some of the Pharisees who were with him heard this, and said to him, Are we also blind?
Bafarizeo mosusu oyo bazalaki elongo na ye bayokaki maloba yango mpe batunaki Yesu: — Boni, olingi koloba ete biso mpe tozali bakufi miso?
41 Jesus said to them, If ye were blind, ye would not have sin; but now ye say, We see. Your sin remaineth.
Yesu azongiselaki bango: — Soki bozalaki bakufi miso, bolingaki kozala na ngambo te; kasi lokola bolobi ete bomonaka, elingi koloba ete bozali penza na ngambo.
