John 6
1 After these things Jesus went away across the lake of Galilee, that of Tiberias.
১ইয়াৰ পাছত যীচু গালীল সাগৰৰ সিপাৰলৈ গ’ল। এই সাগৰক তিবিৰিয়া সাগৰো কোৱা হয়।
2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the signs which he wrought on the diseased.
২তেতিয়া বহু মানুহৰ এটা দল যীচুৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল, কাৰণ যীচুৱে ৰোগী সকললৈ যি যি কৰিছিল, সেই সকলো আচৰিত কার্যৰ চিনবোৰ তেওঁলোকে দেখা পাইছিল।
3 And Jesus went up into the mountain, and sat there with his disciples.
৩পাছত যীচু আৰু তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকল পাহাৰৰ ওপৰলৈ উঠি গৈ বহিল।
4 And the passover, the feast of the Jews, was near.
৪সেই সময়ত ইহুদী সকলৰ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ দিন ওচৰ চাপি আহিছিল।
5 Jesus then lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great crowd was coming to him, saith to Philip, Whence are we to buy bread, that these may eat?
৫যীচুৱে ওপৰৰ ফালে চাই দেখিলে যে এক বৃহৎ মানুহৰ দল তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি আছে। তেতিয়া তেওঁ ফিলিপক সুধিলে, “এওঁলোকক খোৱাবৰ কাৰণে আমি ক’ৰ পৰা পিঠা কিনিবলৈ পাম?”
6 But this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he was going to do.
৬ফিলিপক পৰীক্ষা কৰিবলৈকে যীচুৱে এই কথা ক’লে, কাৰণ যীচুৱে কি কৰিব তাক তেওঁ নিজে জানিছিল।
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred denaries' worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that each one may take a tittle.
৭ফিলিপে উত্তৰ দিলে, “এওঁলোক প্রত্যেকে যদি অলপকৈয়ো পায়, তথাপি দুশ আধলিৰ পিঠা কিনিলেও যথেষ্ট নহ’ব।”
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith to him,
৮যীচুৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মাজত এজনৰ নাম আছিল আন্দ্রিয়। তেওঁ চিমোন পিতৰৰ ভায়েক। তেওঁ যীচুক ক’লে,
9 There is a lad here, who hath five barley-loaves, and two small fishes; but what are they among so many?
৯“ইয়াত এজন সৰু ল’ৰা আছে আৰু তেওঁৰ ওচৰত পাঁচোটা যৱৰ পিঠা আৰু দুটা সৰু মাছ আছে; কিন্তু ইমান মানুহৰ মাজত তাৰে কি হ’ব?”
10 Jesus said, Make the men lie down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men lay down, in number about five thousand.
১০যীচুৱে ক’লে, “লোক সকলক বহিবলৈ দিয়া।” সেই ঠাইতে ভালেমান বন আছিল। তেতিয়া সকলো লোক তাৰ ওপৰতে বহিল। তাত পুৰুষৰ সংখ্যাই প্রায় পাঁচ হাজাৰ আছিল।
11 Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, distributed to those that were lying down; in like manner also of the fishes, as much as they desired.
১১তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে সেই পিঠাকেইখন লৈ ঈশ্বৰক ধন্যবাদ দি বহি থকা সকলৰ মাজত ভগাই দিলে। তেনেদৰে তেওঁ পাছত মাছো ভগাই দিলে। যেয়ে যিমান বিচাৰিলে সিমানকৈ পালে।
12 And when they were filled, he saith to his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain over, that nothing may be lost.
১২তেনেকৈ তেওঁলোক পৰিতৃপ্ত হোৱাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে শিষ্য সকলক ক’লে, “যি টুকুৰাবোৰ বাকী থাকিল, তাৰ একোৱেই যেন নষ্ট নহয়; সেইবোৰ একেলগে গোটাই লোৱা।”
13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley-loaves, which remained over and above to those that had eaten.
১৩তেতিয়া শিষ্য সকলে সেইবোৰ গোটালে আৰু লোক সকলে খোৱাৰ পাছত সেই পাঁচোটা যৱৰ পিঠাৰ যি টুকুৰাবোৰ বাকী থাকিল, সেইবোৰ গোটাই তেওঁলোকে বাৰটা পাচি পূৰ কৰিলে।
14 The men therefore seeing the sign which he wrought, said, This is truly the prophet that was to come into the world.
১৪যীচুৰ এই আচৰিত কার্য দেখি লোক সকলে কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “জগতলৈ যি জন ভাৱবাদী অহাৰ কথা আছে, এওঁ নিশ্চয়ে সেই ভাৱবাদী।”
15 Jesus therefore, knowing that they were about to come and take him by force to make him a king, withdrew again to the mountain alone.
১৫যেতিয়া যীচুৱে বুজিলে যে লোক সকলে তেওঁক জোৰ কৰি তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজা পাতিবৰ কাৰণে ধৰি নিবলৈ উদ্যত হৈছে; তেতিয়া তেওঁ আতৰি অকলে সেই পাহাৰলৈ পুণৰ উঠি গ’ল।
16 But when evening came, his disciples went down to the lake,
১৬যেতিয়া সন্ধিয়া নামি আহিল, যীচুৰ শিষ্য সকল সাগৰৰ তীৰলৈ নামি গ’ল।
17 and having gone on board a boat, were going over the lake to Capernaum. And darkness had overtaken them, and Jesus had not yet come to them.
১৭তেওঁলোকে গৈ এখন নাৱত উঠিল আৰু কফৰনাহূম নগৰৰ ফালে সাগৰ পাৰ হৈ যাবলৈ ধৰিলে। ইতিমধ্যে আন্ধাৰ হৈ গৈছিল, কিন্তু যীচু তেতিয়াও তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰ আহি নাপালে।
18 And as a strong wind was blowing, the waves ran high.
১৮বৰ জোৰেৰে বতাহ বলাত সাগৰত ঢৌ উঠিছিল।
19 When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walking on the lake, and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.
১৯শিষ্য সকলে নাও বাই প্রায় পাঁচ ছয় কিলোমিটাৰমান যোৱাৰ পাছত দেখিলে, যীচু সাগৰৰ ওপৰেদি খোজকাঢ়ি নাৱঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি আছে। তাকে দেখি তেওঁলোকে অতিশয় ভয় খালে।
20 But he saith to them, It is I, be not afraid.
২০তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “এয়া মইহে! ভয় নকৰিবা।”
21 Then they were willing to receive him into the boat; and immediately the boat was at the land whither they were going.
২১শিষ্য সকলে যীচুক নাৱত তুলি লবলৈ বিচাৰিলে আৰু তেওঁলোক যি ঠাইলৈ গৈ আছিল, নাও খন তেতিয়াই সেই ঠাই পালেগৈ।
22 The day following, the multitude which stood on the other side of the lake having seen that there was no other boat there but one, and that Jesus did not go with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples went away alone,
২২পিছদিনা খনৰ কথা। যি সকল লোক সাগৰৰ আন পাৰত থিয় হৈ আছিল, তেওঁলোকে দেখিছিল যে কেৱল মাত্র এখন নাৱৰ বাহিৰে সেই ঠাইত আন এখনো নাও নাছিল আৰু যীচু তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ সৈতে তাত নুঠিল, অকল শিষ্য সকলহে আতৰি গৈছিল।
23 (but there came other boats from Tiberias near the place where they ate the bread, when the Lord had given thanks; )
২৩কিন্তু, প্রভুৱে ধন্যবাদ দিয়াৰ পাছত লোক সকলে যি ঠাইত পিঠা খাইছিল, সেই ঠাইৰ ওচৰতে তিবিৰিয়াৰ পৰা অহা কিছুমান নাও আছিল।
24 when therefore the multitude saw that Jesus was not there nor his disciples, they went on board the boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
২৪সেয়ে, লোক সকলে যেতিয়া জানিলে যে যীচু আৰু তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকল সেই ঠাইত নাই, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে সেই নাওবোৰত উঠি যীচুক বিচাৰি কফৰনাহূমলৈ গ’ল।
25 And having found him on the other side of the lake, they said to him, Rabbi, when didst thou come hither?
২৫সাগৰৰ সিটো পাৰত তেওঁলোকে যীচুক দেখা পাই ক’লে, “ৰব্বি, আপুনি ইয়ালৈ কেতিয়া আহিল?”
26 Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly do I say to you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye ate of the loaves, and were filled.
২৬যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই আপোনালোকক অতি সত্যৰূপে কওঁ, আপোনালোকে আচৰিত চিন দেখিছে কাৰণে নহয়, বৰং পিঠা খাই তৃপ্ত হোৱাৰ কাৰণেহে মোক বিচাৰিছে।
27 Labor not for the food that perisheth, but for the food that endureth to everlasting life, which the Son of man giveth to you; for on him hath the Father set his seal, even God. (aiōnios g166)
২৭ক্ষয়ণীয় আহাৰৰকাৰণে শ্ৰম কৰিবলৈ এৰক; কিন্তু অনন্ত জীৱনলৈকে যি আহাৰ থাকে তাৰ কাৰণে শ্ৰম কৰক। সেই আহাৰ মানুহৰ পুত্ৰই আপোনালোকক দিব; কিয়নো পিতৃ ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ ওপৰত নিজৰ মোহৰমাৰিলে।” (aiōnios g166)
28 Then they said to him, What are we to do, that we may work the works of God?
২৮লোক সকলে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “তেনেহলে ঈশ্বৰৰ কৰ্ম কৰিবলৈ আমি কি কৰিব লাগে?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe in him whom he sent.
২৯যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দিলে, “ঈশ্বৰে যি জনক পঠালে, আপোনালোকে তেওঁত বিশ্বাস কৰাই হৈছে ঈশ্বৰৰ মনোনীত কৰ্ম।”
30 They said therefore to him, What sign doest thou, that we may see, and believe thee? What dost thou work?
৩০তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “আমি দেখি বিশ্বাস কৰিবলৈ আপুনি কি এনে কার্য কৰি আচৰিত চিন দেখুৱাব? আপুনি কি কৰ্ম কৰিব?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written, “He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”
৩১আমাৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ সকলে মৰুপ্রান্তত মান্না খাইছিল; যেনেকৈ শাস্ত্রত লিখা আছে, ‘তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক খাবলৈ স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা পিঠা দিলে’।”
32 Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, Moses hath not given you the bread from heaven; but my Father is giving you the true bread from heaven.
৩২যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মই আপোনালোকক সঁচাকৈয়ে কওঁ, স্বর্গৰ পৰা সেই পিঠা মোচিয়ে আপোনালোকক দিয়া নাছিল, কিন্তু মোৰ পিতৃয়েহে আপোনালোকক স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা প্রকৃত পিঠা দিয়ে
33 For the bread of God is that which is coming down from heaven, and giving life to the world.
৩৩কিয়নো স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি আহি যিহে জগতক জীৱন দান কৰে, সেয়ে ঈশ্বৰে দিয়া পিঠা।”
34 They said therefore to him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
৩৪লোক সকলে ক’লে, “তেনেহলে প্ৰভু, সেই পিঠা আমাক সকলো সময়তে দিয়ক।”
35 Jesus therefore said to them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me will not hunger; and he that believeth in me will never thirst.
৩৫যীচুৱে তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “জীৱন দিওঁতা আহাৰ ময়েই; যি জন মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহে, তেওঁৰ কেতিয়াও ভোক নালাগিব; আৰু যি জনে মোত বিশ্বাস কৰে, তেওঁৰ কেতিয়াও পিয়াহ নালাগিব।
36 But I said to you, that ye have even seen, and do not believe.
৩৬মই আপোনালোকক কৈছোঁ যে, আপোনালোকে মোক দেখিছে, কিন্তু আপোনালোকে বিশ্বাস নকৰে।
37 All that the Father giveth me will come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out;
৩৭পিতৃয়ে মোক যি সকলক দিছে, তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিব; আৰু মোৰ ওচৰলৈ অহা জনক মই কেতিয়াও বাহিৰ কৰি নিদিম।
38 for I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
৩৮কিয়নো মই মোৰ নিজৰ ইচ্ছা পূৰ কৰিবলৈ স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি অহা নাই, কিন্তু মোক পঠোৱা জনৰ ইচ্ছা পূৰ কৰিবলৈহে নামি আহিছোঁ।
39 And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up in the last day.
৩৯মোক পঠোৱা জনৰ ইচ্ছা এই যে, তেওঁ মোক যি সকলক দিলে, তেওঁলোকৰ এজনকো যেন মই নেহেৰুৱাও, কিন্তু শেষৰ দিনা তেওঁলোক সকলোকে যেন মই উঠাও।
40 For this is the will of my Father, that every one who looketh on the Son and believeth in him, shall have everlasting life; and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
৪০মোৰ পিতৃৰ ইচ্ছা এই- যি কোনোৱে পুত্ৰক দেখি তেওঁত বিশ্বাস কৰে, তেওঁ যেন অনন্ত জীৱন পায়; আৰু শেষৰ দিনা মই তেওঁক তুলিম।” (aiōnios g166)
41 The Jews therefore murmured about him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven;
৪১পাছত ইহুদী নেতা সকলে যীচুৰ বিষয়ে ভোৰভোৰনি আৰম্ভ কৰিলে; যিহেতু তেওঁ কৈছিল, “স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নমা আহাৰ ময়েই;”
42 and they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, one whose father and mother we know? How is it then that this man saith, I have come down from heaven?
৪২সেই নেতা সকলে কৈছিল, “এওঁ যোচেফৰ পুতেক যীচু, যাৰ বাপেক-মাকক আমি জানো, সেই জনেই নহয় নে? তেনেহলে ‘মই স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি আহিছোঁ’ এই কথা এতিয়া তেওঁ কেনেকৈ কৈছে?”
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Murmur not among yourselves.
৪৩যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “আপোনালোকে নিজৰ মাজত সেই ভোৰভোৰনি বন্ধ কৰক।
44 No one can come to me, unless the Father, who sent me, draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.
৪৪যি জনে মোক পঠাইছে, সেই পিতৃয়ে চপাই নললে, কোনেও মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিব নোৱাৰে; আৰু মই শেষৰ দিনা তেওঁক তুলিম।
45 It is written in the prophets, “And they shall all be taught of God.” Every one that hath heard the Father, and hath learnt from him, cometh to me.
৪৫ভাববাদী সকলৰ পুস্তকত এই বুলি লিখা আছে, ‘তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা শিক্ষা লাভ কৰিব।’যি জনে পিতৃৰ পৰা শুনি শিক্ষা পাইছে, তেৱেঁই মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহে।
46 Not that any one hath seen the Father, but he who is from God; he hath seen the Father.
৪৬কোনোৱে যে পিতৃক দেখিলে, এনে নহয়, কেৱল যি জন ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা হয়, তেৱেঁই পিতৃক দেখিলে।
৪৭মই সঁচাকৈয়ে কৈছোঁ, যি জনে বিশ্বাস কৰে, সেই জনৰ অনন্ত জীৱন আছে। (aiōnios g166)
48 I am the bread of life.
৪৮জীৱন দিওঁতা আহাৰ (পিঠা) ময়েই।
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died.
৪৯আপোনালোকৰ পিতৃপুৰুষ সকলে মৰুপ্রান্তত মান্না খাইছিল আৰু তেওঁলোক মৰিল৷
50 This is the bread which is coming down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
৫০স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি অহা আহাৰ এয়ে; যি মানুহে ইয়াক খায়, তেওঁ পুনৰ নমৰে।
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eat of my bread, he will live for ever. Yea, and the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh. (aiōn g165)
৫১স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নমা জীৱনময় আহাৰ ময়েই। যদি কোনোৱে এই আহাৰ খায়, তেনেহলে তেওঁ চিৰকাল জীৱ; আৰু জগতৰ জীৱনৰ কাৰণে মই যি আহাৰ দিম, সেয়ে মোৰ মাংস।” (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
৫২এই কথাত ইহুদী সকল খঙত জ্বলি উঠি পৰস্পৰে বাকযুদ্ধত লিপ্ত হৈ ক’লে, “কেনেকৈ এই মানুহ জনে তেওঁৰ দেহৰ মাংস আমাক খাবলৈ দিব পাৰে?”
53 Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, Unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
৫৩যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “সঁচাকৈয়ে মই আপোনালোকক কওঁ, মানুহৰ পুত্ৰৰ মাংস নাখালে আৰু তেওঁৰ তেজ পান নকৰিলে, আপোনালোকৰ ভিতৰত জীৱন নাই।
54 He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life; and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
৫৪যি কোনোৱে মোৰ মাংস খায়, আৰু মোৰ তেজ পান কৰে, তেওঁৰ অনন্ত জীৱন আছে; আৰু শেষৰ দিনা মই তেওঁক তুলিম। (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
৫৫কিয়নো মোৰ মাংসই প্রকৃত ভক্ষ্য আৰু মোৰ তেজেই প্রকৃত পানীয়।
56 He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me, and I in him.
৫৬যি জনে মোৰ মাংস খায় আৰু মোৰ তেজ পান কৰে, সেই জন মোত থাকে, ময়ো তেওঁত থাকোঁ।
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live by reason of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live by reason of me.
৫৭যেনেকৈ জীৱিত পিতৃয়ে মোক পঠালে আৰু পিতৃৰ কাৰণে মই জীৱিত আছোঁ, তেনেকৈ যি কোনোৱে মোক ভোজন কৰে, তেৱোঁ মোৰ দ্বাৰাই জীয়াই থাকিব।
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven; not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread will live for ever. (aiōn g165)
৫৮স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নমা আহাৰ এয়েই। পিতৃপুৰুষ সকলে যেনেকৈ খায়ো মৰিল, তাৰ নিচিনা নহয়; যি জনে এই আহাৰ খায়, সেই জন চিৰকাল জীৱ।” (aiōn g165)
59 These things he said in a synagogue, while teaching in Capernaum.
৫৯এই সকলো কথা যীচুৱে কফৰনাহূমত উপদেশ দিয়াৰ সময়ত নাম-ঘৰত ক’লে।
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they heard this, said, This teaching is hard; who can listen to it?
৬০যীচুৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মাজৰ অনেকে এই কথা শুনি ক’লে, “ই বৰ কঠিন শিক্ষা; কোনে ইয়াক গ্রহণ কৰিব পাৰে?”
61 Jesus therefore knew within himself that his disciples were murmuring about this, and said to them, Doth this offend you?
৬১যীচুৱে নিজৰ মনতে জানিব পাৰিছিল যে তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলে এই বিষয়ত বু বু বা বা কৰি আছে; সেয়ে তেওঁ শিষ্য সকলক সুধিলে, “এই কথাত তোমালোকে মনত বিঘিনি পাইছা নেকি?
62 What then if ye behold the Son of man ascending where he was before?
৬২মানুহৰ পুত্ৰক যেতিয়া উর্দ্ধত তেওঁৰ আগৰ থকা ঠাইলৈ উঠা দেখিবা, তেতিয়া তোমালোকে কি ভাবিবা?
63 It is the spirit which maketh alive; the flesh profiteth nothing. The words which I have spoken to you are spirit, and are life.
৬৩আত্মাইহে জীৱন দিয়ে। মাংস একো উপকাৰত নাহে; মই তোমালোকক যিবোৰ কথা কৈছোঁ, সেই কথাই আত্মা আৰু জীৱন।
64 But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe, and who it was that would betray him.
৬৪কিন্তু তোমালোকৰ মাজত এনে কিছুমান আছে, যি সকলে বিশ্বাস নকৰে।” কিয়নো যীচুৱে আদিৰে পৰা জানিছিল, কোনে কোনে বিশ্বাস নকৰে আৰু কোনে তেওঁক শত্ৰুৰ হাতত শোধাই দিব।
65 And he said, For this cause I have told you, that no one can come to me, unless it hath been given him from the Father.
৬৫তেওঁ পুনৰ ক’লে, “এই কাৰণে মই তোমালোকক কৈছিলোঁ যে, পিতৃয়ে ইচ্ছা নকৰিলে কোনেও মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিব নোৱাৰে।”
66 From this time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
৬৬ইয়াৰ পাছতে তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মাজৰ অনেক উলটি গ’ল; তেওঁৰ লগত পুনৰ অহা-যোৱা নকৰিলে।
67 Jesus therefore said to the twelve, Do ye also wish to go away?
৬৭যীচুৱে তেতিয়া সেই বাৰ জন পাঁচনিক ক’লে, “তোমালোকেও যাবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰা নে?”
68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of everlasting life; (aiōnios g166)
৬৮চিমোন পিতৰে তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিলে, “প্ৰভু, আমি কাৰ ওচৰলৈ যাম? অনন্ত জীৱনৰ কথা আপোনাৰ ওচৰতহে আছে। (aiōnios g166)
69 and we have believed and known, that thou art the Holy One of God.
৬৯আমি বিশ্বাস কৰিছোঁ আৰু জানিছোঁ যে আপুনিয়েই ঈশ্বৰৰ পবিত্ৰ জন।”
