< John 4 >
1 When therefore Jesus knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

3 he left Judaea, and went again to Galilee.
O den ñani jude ki guani Galile.
4 And he must necessarily pass through Samaria.
Ama li den tie tiladi wan tagini samali.
5 He cometh therefore to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the piece of land which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
O den pundi samali doyendu nni ke bi yi u sikali li kani den den kuu leni Jakobo n den puni o bijua Josefi yaa kuanu.
6 And Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with the journey, was sitting thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.

7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus saith to her, Give me to drink.

8 For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 The Samaritan woman saith to him, How is it that thou, who art a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman? For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, If thou hadst known the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Jesu den guani ki yedi: A ya bi bani U Tienu paabu n tie yaala leni yua n tua ha: Pa nni min ño n tie yua, fini n bi baa mia o. Lani o bi baa pa ha yaa ñima n pia li miali.
11 The woman saith to him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Whence hast thou the living water?
O pua yeni den guani ki yedi o: o Diedo haa pia yaala n baa luuni ke li caali mo nan ñua, a baa ba yaa ñima n pia li miali le?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his sons, and his cattle?
Atema ke ha cie ti yaa ja jakobo yua nden puni ti li naa caali, wani oba n den ñini naani leni obila leni oyandi?
13 Jesus answered and said to her, Every one that drinketh of this water, will thirst again;
Jesu den goani ki yedi o: Yua n ñuni mi naa ñima kuli ñu ñuulu go baa cuo o,
14 but whoever drinketh of the water that I will give him, will never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become within him a well of water springing up to everlasting life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Ama yua n ñuni min baa pa o yaa ñima yeni ñu ñuulu kan go cuo o hali abada.
15 The woman saith to him, Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come hither to draw.
O pua yeni den yedi o: o Diedo pa nni laa ñima ke u ñuñuulu n da go cuo nni, ke min da go cua nekanba ki luni mi ñima.
16 He saith to her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered, I have no husband. Jesus saith to her, Thou saidst well, that thou hast no husband.
O pua yeni den guani ki yedi o: N naa pia joa, Jesu den yedi o: Amaadi moamoani leni han yedi: N naa pia joa.
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband; in this thou hast spoken truly.
Kelima a den kuni ti jadi taalimamu, han ye leni yaa joa moala ne yeni mo naa tie acalo ka, han yedi yaala tie moamoani.
19 The woman saith to him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
O pua yeni den yedi o: o Diedo n laa ke a tie sawalipualo.
20 Our fathers worshipped on this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Ti yaajanba den kpiagidi U Tienu li naa juali kane, ama yinba Jufinba mo yedi ke li tie tilade yaaba n baa kpiagidi U Tienu kuli kali Jelusalema.
21 Jesus saith to her, Believe me, woman, the hour is coming, when ye shall neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship that which ye know not; we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for such worshippers the Father seeketh.

25 The woman saith to him, I know that Messiah cometh (who is called Christ); when he hath come, he will tell us all things.
O pua yeni den yedi o: N bani ke Mesia ba cua ban yi yua Kilisiti yeni o ya cua obaa waani ti libonla kuli.
26 Jesus saith to her, I who speak to thee am he.
Jesu den guani ki yedi o: Mini yua n maadi leni a yeni tie wane.
27 And upon this his disciples came, and marveled that he was talking with a woman. Yet no one said, What dost thou seek? or, Why dost thou talk with her?

28 The woman then left her water-pot, and went away into the city, and saith to the men,
O pua yeni den ha o cuali ki sani ki kua udogu nni, ki ban yini bi niba ki yedi ba
29 Come, see a man who told me all things which I have done. Is this the Christ?

30 They went out of the city, and came to him.
Bi den ñani udogu nni cua o kani.
31 In the mean while the disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, eat.

32 But he said to them, I have food to eat that ye know not of.
Ama o den yedi ba: N pia yin ki bani yaa jiema ki baa je.
33 The disciples therefore said to one another, Hath any one brought him anything to eat?
Bi hoadikaaba den tua bi yaba niloba nan cuani opo jiema bii?
34 Jesus saith to them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: N yaa jiema tie min yaa tiendi yua n soani nni yanbuama ki soani o tuonli ki dudi.
35 Do ye not say, There are yet four months, and the harvest cometh? Lo! I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.

37 And herein is fulfilled the true saying, One soweth, and another reapeth.
Kelima ban yedi yaala ne tie moamoani, one buu one mo yendi.
38 I have sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored. Others have labored, and ye have entered into their labor.

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him because of the words of the woman, who testified, He told me all things which I have done.
Samali yaaba siiga boncianla yaaba n ye laa dogu nni den daani Jesu kelima o pua yeni n den doagidi ki waani ba yaa maama ne «o bandi min tieni yaala kuli»
40 When therefore the Samaritans came to him, they besought him to remain with them; and he remained there two days.
Samali yaaba, yaaba n den cua Jesu kani yeni den mia o, ke wan sedi leni ba, o den tieni li kani danalie.
41 And many more believed on account of his word;
Bi niba boncianla den daani omaama po.
42 and said to the woman, No longer do we believe on account of what thou hast told us; for we have ourselves heard him, and know that this is in truth the Saviour of the world.
43 And after the two days he went from that place into Galilee.

44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honor in his own country.
45 When therefore he came into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all that he did in Jerusalem at the feast; for they also went to the feast.
Wan den pundi Galile, Galile yaaba den ga ocangu hali bohanla kelima ban moko den gedi Jelusalema mi jaanma yogunu ki laa wan den tiendi yaala.
46 So he came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick, at Capernaum.
O den guani kana Galile dogu nni wan den kpa lebidi mi ñima naani ke mi tua duven obado koanbali den ye kapenayuma dogu nni ke o bijua yia.

49 The nobleman saith to him, Sir, come down before my child die.
Obado koanbali den yedi o: Canba cua tin yegi ki gedi hali ke n biga daa kpe.
50 Jesus saith to him, Go; thy son liveth. The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and went away.
Jesu den yedi o: Kuni abiga baa laa fia. Laa joa den daani Jesu n den yedi o yaala ki gedi.
51 And as he was now going down, the servants met him, and brought word that his child was living.

52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he began to mend. And they said to him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
O den buali ba ki biga n li baa laa fia yaa yogunu cap, Bi den yedi o: Wenli kudlele yogunu ke ogbannanbiendi kagidi opo.
53 So the father knew that it was in the same hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son is living. And he himself believed, and his whole house.
