John 2
1 And on the third day there was a marriage-feast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਤ੍ਰੁਤੀਯਦਿਵਸੇ ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਯੇ ਕਾੰਨਾਨਾਮ੍ਨਿ ਨਗਰੇ ਵਿਵਾਹ ਆਸੀਤ੍ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਚ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਰ੍ਮਾਤਾ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ੍|
2 And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.
ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਵਿਵਾਹਾਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਨਿਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਆਸਨ੍|
3 And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.
ਤਦਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਸ੍ਯ ਨ੍ਯੂਨਤ੍ਵਾਦ੍ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਰ੍ਮਾਤਾ ਤਮਵਦਤ੍ ਏਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੋ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ|
4 Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.
ਤਦਾ ਸ ਤਾਮਵੋਚਤ੍ ਹੇ ਨਾਰਿ ਮਯਾ ਸਹ ਤਵ ਕਿੰ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯੰ? ਮਮ ਸਮਯ ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਨੋਪਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ|
5 His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾਸਾਨਵੋਚਦ੍ ਅਯੰ ਯਦ੍ ਵਦਤਿ ਤਦੇਵ ਕੁਰੁਤ|
6 Now there were set there six water-pots of stone, in conformity with the Jews' custom of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਚਿਤ੍ਵਕਰਣਵ੍ਯਵਹਾਰਾਨੁਸਾਰੇਣਾਢਕੈਕਜਲਧਰਾਣਿ ਪਾਸ਼਼ਾਣਮਯਾਨਿ ਸ਼਼ਡ੍ਵ੍ਰੁʼਹਤ੍ਪਾਤ੍ਰਾਣਿਆਸਨ੍|
7 Jesus saith to them, Fill the water-pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਕਲਸ਼ਾਨ੍ ਜਲੈਃ ਪੂਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਤਾਨਾਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਤ੍, ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਕੁਮ੍ਭਾਨਾਕਰ੍ਣੰ ਜਲੈਃ ਪਰ੍ੱਯਪੂਰਯਨ੍|
8 And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it.
ਅਥ ਤੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦੁੱਤਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਭੋਜ੍ਯਾਧਿਪਾਤੇਃਸਮੀਪੰ ਨੇਤੁੰ ਸ ਤਾਨਾਦਿਸ਼ਤ੍, ਤੇ ਤਦਨਯਨ੍|
9 But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom
ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਤੱਜਲੰ ਕਥੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੋ(ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍ ਤੱਜਲਵਾਹਕਾਦਾਸਾ ਜ੍ਞਾਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਾਃ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਦ੍ਭੋਜ੍ਯਾਧਿਪੋ ਜ੍ਞਾਤੁੰ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤ੍ ਤਦਵਲਿਹ੍ਯ ਵਰੰ ਸੰਮ੍ਬੋਦ੍ਯਾਵਦਤ,
10 and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.
ਲੋਕਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੰ ਉੱਤਮਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੰ ਦਦਤਿ ਤਸ਼਼ੁ ਯਥੇਸ਼਼੍ਟੰ ਪਿਤਵਤ੍ਸੁ ਤਸ੍ਮਾ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦਨੁੱਤਮਞ੍ਚ ਦਦਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤ੍ਵਮਿਦਾਨੀਂ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਉੱਤਮਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਸਿ|
11 This beginning of the signs Jesus made in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
ਇੱਥੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰ੍ਗਾਲੀਲਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਕਾਰ੍ੰਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਮ੍ਭ ਨਿਜਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਕਾਸ਼ਯਤ੍ ਤਤਃ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍|
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples; and they abode there not many days.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰਮ੍ ਸ ਨਿਜਮਾਤ੍ਰੁਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁਸ੍ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧ੍ਂ ਕਫਰ੍ਨਾਹੂਮਮ੍ ਆਗਮਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੂਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਆਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ੍|
13 And the passover of the Jews was near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
ਤਦਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯਿਹੂਦਿਯਾਨਾਂ ਨਿਸ੍ਤਾਰੋਤ੍ਸਵੇ ਨਿਕਟਮਾਗਤੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੁ ਰ੍ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ ਨਗਰਮ੍ ਆਗੱਛਤ੍|
14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting.
ਤਤੋ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਗੋਮੇਸ਼਼ਪਾਰਾਵਤਵਿਕ੍ਰਯਿਣੋ ਵਾਣਿਜਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਚੋਪਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਨ੍ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ
15 And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables;
ਰੱਜੁਭਿਃ ਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਾਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਗੋਮੇਸ਼਼ਾਦਿਭਿਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਾਦ੍ ਦੂਰੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍|
16 and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
ਵਣਿਜਾਂ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਦਿ ਵਿਕੀਰ੍ੱਯ ਆਸਨਾਨਿ ਨ੍ਯੂਬ੍ਜੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਪਾਰਾਵਤਵਿਕ੍ਰਯਿਭ੍ਯੋ(ਅ)ਕਥਯਦ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ਵਾਣ੍ਯੇਤਾਨਿ ਨਯਤ, ਮਮ ਪਿਤੁਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਵਾਣਿਜ੍ਯਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਮਾ ਕਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਟ|
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thy house will consume me.”
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤਨ੍ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਾਰ੍ਥ ਉਦ੍ਯੋਗੋ ਯਸ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਗ੍ਰਸਤੀਵ ਮਾਮ੍| ਇਮਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਯਲਿਪਿੰ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃਸਮਸ੍ਮਰਨ੍|
18 The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign dost thou show us, seeing thou doest these things?
ਤਤਃ ਪਰਮ੍ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਯੀਸ਼਼ਿਮਵਦਨ੍ ਤਵਮਿਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਕਰ੍ੰਮਕਰਣਾਤ੍ ਕਿੰ ਚਿਹ੍ਨਮਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਯਸਿ?
19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਾਨਵੋਚਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਰੇ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੇ ਨਾਸ਼ਿਤੇ ਦਿਨਤ੍ਰਯਮਧ੍ਯੇ(ਅ)ਹੰ ਤਦ੍ ਉੱਥਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
20 Then said the Jews, Forty-six years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
ਤਦਾ ਯਿਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵ੍ਯਾਹਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਃ, ਏਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ ਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਾਣੇਨ ਸ਼਼ਟ੍ਚਤ੍ਵਾਰਿੰਸ਼ਦ੍ ਵਤ੍ਸਰਾ ਗਤਾਃ, ਤ੍ਵੰ ਕਿੰ ਦਿਨਤ੍ਰਯਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤਦ੍ ਉੱਥਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਸਿ?
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਨਿਜਦੇਹਰੂਪਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੇ ਕਥਾਮਿਮਾਂ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
22 When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.
ਸ ਯਦੇਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਗਦਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੱਛਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨਾਤ੍ ਤਦੀਯੋੱਥਾਨੇ ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਧਰ੍ੰਮਗ੍ਰਨ੍ਥੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨੋਕ੍ਤਕਥਾਯਾਂ ਚ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਸ਼਼ੁਃ|
23 And when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, at the feast, many believed in his name, when they saw his signs which he wrought.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਨਿਸ੍ਤਾਰੋਤ੍ਸਵਸ੍ਯ ਭੋਜ੍ਯਸਮਯੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ ਨਗਰੇ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁਤਾਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਬਹੁਭਿਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਮਨਿ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਤੰ|
24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men;
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਕਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸ੍ਵੰ ਨ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਯਤ੍, ਯਤਃ ਸ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨਵੈਤ੍|
25 and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
ਸ ਮਾਨਵੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਕਸ੍ਯਚਿਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਨਾਪੇਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤ ਯਤੋ ਮਨੁਜਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਯਦ੍ਯਦਸ੍ਤਿ ਤੱਤਤ੍ ਸੋਜਾਨਾਤ੍|
