John 2
1 And on the third day there was a marriage-feast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there.
അനന്തരം ത്രുതീയദിവസേ ഗാലീൽ പ്രദേശിയേ കാന്നാനാമ്നി നഗരേ വിവാഹ ആസീത് തത്ര ച യീശോർമാതാ തിഷ്ഠത്|
2 And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.
തസ്മൈ വിവാഹായ യീശുസ്തസ്യ ശിഷ്യാശ്ച നിമന്ത്രിതാ ആസൻ|
3 And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.
തദനന്തരം ദ്രാക്ഷാരസസ്യ ന്യൂനത്വാദ് യീശോർമാതാ തമവദത് ഏതേഷാം ദ്രാക്ഷാരസോ നാസ്തി|
4 Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.
തദാ സ താമവോചത് ഹേ നാരി മയാ സഹ തവ കിം കാര്യ്യം? മമ സമയ ഇദാനീം നോപതിഷ്ഠതി|
5 His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it.
തതസ്തസ്യ മാതാ ദാസാനവോചദ് അയം യദ് വദതി തദേവ കുരുത|
6 Now there were set there six water-pots of stone, in conformity with the Jews' custom of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
തസ്മിൻ സ്ഥാനേ യിഹൂദീയാനാം ശുചിത്വകരണവ്യവഹാരാനുസാരേണാഢകൈകജലധരാണി പാഷാണമയാനി ഷഡ്വൃഹത്പാത്രാണിആസൻ|
7 Jesus saith to them, Fill the water-pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
തദാ യീശുസ്താൻ സർവ്വകലശാൻ ജലൈഃ പൂരയിതും താനാജ്ഞാപയത്, തതസ്തേ സർവ്വാൻ കുമ്ഭാനാകർണം ജലൈഃ പര്യ്യപൂരയൻ|
8 And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it.
അഥ തേഭ്യഃ കിഞ്ചിദുത്താര്യ്യ ഭോജ്യാധിപാതേഃസമീപം നേതും സ താനാദിശത്, തേ തദനയൻ|
9 But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom
അപരഞ്ച തജ്ജലം കഥം ദ്രാക്ഷാരസോഽഭവത് തജ്ജലവാഹകാദാസാ ജ്ഞാതും ശക്താഃ കിന്തു തദ്ഭോജ്യാധിപോ ജ്ഞാതും നാശക്നോത് തദവലിഹ്യ വരം സംമ്ബോദ്യാവദത,
10 and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.
ലോകാഃ പ്രഥമം ഉത്തമദ്രാക്ഷാരസം ദദതി തഷു യഥേഷ്ടം പിതവത്സു തസ്മാ കിഞ്ചിദനുത്തമഞ്ച ദദതി കിന്തു ത്വമിദാനീം യാവത് ഉത്തമദ്രാക്ഷാരസം സ്ഥാപയസി|
11 This beginning of the signs Jesus made in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
ഇത്ഥം യീശുർഗാലീലപ്രദേശേ ആശ്ചര്യ്യകാർമ്മ പ്രാരമ്ഭ നിജമഹിമാനം പ്രാകാശയത് തതഃ ശിഷ്യാസ്തസ്മിൻ വ്യശ്വസൻ|
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples; and they abode there not many days.
തതഃ പരമ് സ നിജമാത്രുഭ്രാത്രുസ്ശിഷ്യൈഃ സാർദ്ധ്ം കഫർനാഹൂമമ് ആഗമത് കിന്തു തത്ര ബഹൂദിനാനി ആതിഷ്ഠത്|
13 And the passover of the Jews was near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
തദനന്തരം യിഹൂദിയാനാം നിസ്താരോത്സവേ നികടമാഗതേ യീശു ര്യിരൂശാലമ് നഗരമ് ആഗച്ഛത്|
14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting.
തതോ മന്ദിരസ്യ മധ്യേ ഗോമേഷപാരാവതവിക്രയിണോ വാണിജക്ഷ്ചോപവിഷ്ടാൻ വിലോക്യ
15 And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables;
രജ്ജുഭിഃ കശാം നിർമ്മായ സർവ്വഗോമേഷാദിഭിഃ സാർദ്ധം താൻ മന്ദിരാദ് ദൂരീകൃതവാൻ|
16 and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
വണിജാം മുദ്രാദി വികീര്യ്യ ആസനാനി ന്യൂബ്ജീകൃത്യ പാരാവതവിക്രയിഭ്യോഽകഥയദ് അസ്മാത് സ്ഥാനാത് സർവാണ്യേതാനി നയത, മമ പിതുഗൃഹം വാണിജ്യഗൃഹം മാ കാർഷ്ട|
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thy house will consume me.”
തസ്മാത് തന്മന്ദിരാർഥ ഉദ്യോഗോ യസ്തു സ ഗ്രസതീവ മാമ്| ഇമാം ശാസ്ത്രീയലിപിം ശിഷ്യാഃസമസ്മരൻ|
18 The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign dost thou show us, seeing thou doest these things?
തതഃ പരമ് യിഹൂദീയലോകാ യീഷിമവദൻ തവമിദൃശകർമ്മകരണാത് കിം ചിഹ്നമസ്മാൻ ദർശയസി?
19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
തതോ യീശുസ്താനവോചദ് യുഷ്മാഭിരേ തസ്മിൻ മന്ദിരേ നാശിതേ ദിനത്രയമധ്യേഽഹം തദ് ഉത്ഥാപയിഷ്യാമി|
20 Then said the Jews, Forty-six years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
തദാ യിഹൂദിയാ വ്യാഹാർഷുഃ, ഏതസ്യ മന്ദിരസ നിർമ്മാണേന ഷട്ചത്വാരിംശദ് വത്സരാ ഗതാഃ, ത്വം കിം ദിനത്രയമധ്യേ തദ് ഉത്ഥാപയിഷ്യസി?
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
കിന്തു സ നിജദേഹരൂപമന്ദിരേ കഥാമിമാം കഥിതവാൻ|
22 When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.
സ യദേതാദൃശം ഗദിതവാൻ തച്ഛിഷ്യാഃ ശ്മശാനാത് തദീയോത്ഥാനേ സതി സ്മൃത്വാ ധർമ്മഗ്രന്ഥേ യീശുനോക്തകഥായാം ച വ്യശ്വസിഷുഃ|
23 And when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, at the feast, many believed in his name, when they saw his signs which he wrought.
അനന്തരം നിസ്താരോത്സവസ്യ ഭോജ്യസമയേ യിരൂശാലമ് നഗരേ തത്ക്രുതാശ്ചര്യ്യകർമ്മാണി വിലോക്യ ബഹുഭിസ്തസ്യ നാമനി വിശ്വസിതം|
24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men;
കിന്തു സ തേഷാം കരേഷു സ്വം ന സമർപയത്, യതഃ സ സർവ്വാനവൈത്|
25 and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
സ മാനവേഷു കസ്യചിത് പ്രമാണം നാപേക്ഷത യതോ മനുജാനാം മധ്യേ യദ്യദസ്തി തത്തത് സോജാനാത്|
