< John 2 >
1 And on the third day there was a marriage-feast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there.
Ni thum ni ciang in Galilee huam Kana khua ah mopoai om a; tua mun ah Jesus i nu zong om hi:
2 And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.
Taciang Jesus le a nungzui te zong mopoai ah ki sam hi.
3 And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.
Amate sapittui a ki sap uh ciang in, a nu in Jesus kung ah, amate in sapittui nei nawn ngawl hi, ci hi.
4 Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it.
A nu in naseam te kung ah, hong son theampo seam vun, ci hi.
6 Now there were set there six water-pots of stone, in conformity with the Jews' custom of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Tua mun ah Judah te ngeina bang in, thiansuana tu in suang tuibeal luk koi uh hi, beal khat sung ah tui gallon kul pan sawmthum kiim ta hi.
7 Jesus saith to them, Fill the water-pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Jesus in amate tung ah, Tuibeal te tui dim vun, ci hi. Taciang amate in a dim in tui dim uh hi.
8 And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it.
Jesus in amate tung ah, Tu in tui suak vun a, poai ukpa kung ah paipui vun, ci hi. Taciang amate in paipui uh hi.
9 But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom
Poai uk pa in tua sapittui a ki suaksak tui a tep zawkciang in, koisung pan ci a he bua hi: ahihang naseam tuitoai te in he uh hi; poai uk pa in mopa sam a,
10 and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of the signs Jesus made in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
Jesus in hi amasabel nalamdang sia Galilee huam Cana khua ah vawt a, a minthanna kilangsak hi; taciang nungzui te in Ama um uh hi.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples; and they abode there not many days.
Hite zawkciang in, Jesus le a nu, a suapui te le a nungzui te sia Capernaum ah pai uh a: tua mun ah ni tampi sung taam ngawl hi.
13 And the passover of the Jews was near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting.
Biakinn sung ah khuital, tuu le vakhu zuak te le sumtheak te a to hon uh laitak mu hi:
15 And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables;
Ciangduai tang in khauhual vawt a, tuu le khuital te biakinn sung pan in bengkeak hi; taciang sumtheak te i sum te sung keak a, sabuai te zong lotthalsak hi;
16 and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
Taciang vakhu zuak te tung ah, Hi van te hi mun pan in lasiat vun; ka Pa inn sia sumzuakna mun suaksak heak vun, ci hi.
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thy house will consume me.”
A nungzui te in, na inn i lawpna in hong ne siat hi, ci a ki atkhol sia phawk uh hi.
18 The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign dost thou show us, seeing thou doest these things?

19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Jesus in zo kik a, Hi biakinn pheltham vun, nithum sung sakik tu khi hi, ci hi.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty-six years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
Ahihang Jesus in Ama pumpi biakinn a son na a hihi.
22 When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.
Tua ahikom Jesus sia thina pan a thawkik ciang in, a nungzui te in hi thu te son a hi hunlam phawkkik uh hi; taciang amate in laithiangtho le Jesus i son thu te um uh hi.
23 And when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, at the feast, many believed in his name, when they saw his signs which he wrought.
Tu in Jesus sia Jerusalem ah paisanpoai ni in, nalamdang tampi a vawt te a mu uh hu in, mi tampi in Ama min um uh hi.
24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men;
Ahihang Jesus in amate tung ah Ama le Ama ki ap ngawl hi, banghangziam cile mi theampo a heak hang a hihi,
25 and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
