John 2
1 And on the third day there was a marriage-feast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there.
১তিন দিনৰ দিনা গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ কান্না নগৰত এখন বিয়া হৈছিল আৰু যীচুৰ মাক তাত আছিল।
2 And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.
২সেই বিয়ালৈ যীচু আৰু তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলকো নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰা হৈছিল।
3 And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.
৩পাছত যেতিয়া দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস শেষ হৈ আহিল, তেতিয়া যীচুৰ মাকে আহি যীচুক ক’লে, “তেওঁলোকৰ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস শেষ হ’ল।”
4 Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.
৪যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে নাৰী, এই কথাত মোৰ সৈতে কি কাম? মোৰ এতিয়াও সময় হোৱা নাই।”
5 His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it.
৫তেওঁৰ মাকে দাস সকলক ক’লে, “এওঁ তোমালোকক যিহকে কয়, তাকে কৰিবাহঁক।”
6 Now there were set there six water-pots of stone, in conformity with the Jews' custom of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
৬সেই ঠাইতে ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰীতি অনুসাৰে শুচি হবৰ কাৰণে পাথৰৰ ছয়টা পানী থোৱা শিলৰ পাত্র আছিল। সেইবোৰৰ প্রত্যেকতে প্ৰায় আশীৰ পৰা এশ বিশ লিটাৰ পানী ধৰে।
7 Jesus saith to them, Fill the water-pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
৭যীচুৱে দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “এই পাত্রকেইটাত পানী ভৰাই দিয়া।” দাসবোৰে তেতিয়া সেই পাত্রকেইটাৰ কাণলৈকে পূৰ্ণ কৰি পানী ভৰাই দিলে।
8 And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it.
৮তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে সিহঁতক ক’লে, “এতিয়া তাৰ পৰা অলপ উলিয়াই ভোজৰ অধিকাৰীৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ যোৱা।” তাতে দাসবোৰে সেইদৰে কৰিলে।
9 But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom
৯ভোজৰ অধিকাৰীয়ে পানীৰ পৰা হোৱা সেই দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস চাকি চালে; কিন্তু সেই ৰস ক’ৰ পৰা আহিল, তেওঁ নাজানিলে। যি দাসবোৰে পানী তুলিছিল, সিহঁতেহে জানিলে। তেতিয়া ভোজৰ অধিকাৰীয়ে দৰাক মাতি ক’লে,
10 and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.
১০“সাধাৰণতে সকলো মানুহে প্রথমে উত্তম দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস পৰিবেশন কৰে আৰু অতিথি সকলে সেয়া ইচ্ছামতে খোৱাৰ পাছত, তেওঁলোকক আগতকৈ নিম্নমানৰ দ্রাক্ষাৰস পৰিবেশন কৰে। কিন্তু তোমালোকে হ’লে এতিয়ালৈকে উত্তম দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস ৰাখি থৈছা।”
11 This beginning of the signs Jesus made in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
১১গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ কান্না নগৰত এই প্রথম আচৰিত চিনৰ কার্য কৰি যীচুৱে নিজৰ মহিমা প্রকাশ কৰিলে। তাতে তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলে তেওঁৰ ওপৰত বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples; and they abode there not many days.
১২তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ মাক, ভায়েকহঁত আৰু শিষ্য সকলৰ সৈতে কফৰনাহূমলৈ গ’ল আৰু তাতে তেওঁলোক কিছুদিন থাকিল।
13 And the passover of the Jews was near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
১৩ইহুদী সকলৰ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্ব পালনৰ সময় ওচৰ হোৱাত যীচু যিৰূচালেমলৈ গ’ল।
14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting.
১৪তেওঁ তাত গৈ দেখিলে যে মন্দিৰৰ মাজত লোক সকলে ষাঁড়-গৰু, মেৰ, কপৌ চৰাই বেচি আছে আৰু ধন সলোৱা লোক সকলো তাত বহি আছে।
15 And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables;
১৫তেতিয়া তেওঁ কিছুমান ৰছীৰে এডাল চাবুক বনাই ললে আৰু সেইডালেৰে ষাঁড়-গৰু, মেৰবোৰেৰে সৈতে সকলোকে মন্দিৰৰ পৰা খেদাই দিলে, আৰু ধন সলোৱা সকলৰ টকা-পইচা সকলো বাকি দি সিহঁতৰ মেজবোৰ লুটিয়াই পেলালে।
16 and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
১৬যি সকলে পাৰচৰাই বেচিছিল, তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “ইয়াৰ পৰা এইবোৰ লৈ যোৱা! মোৰ পিতৃৰ গৃহক ব্যৱসায়ৰ গৃহ নকৰিবা।”
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thy house will consume me.”
১৭ইয়াতে শাস্ত্রত লিখা এই কথা তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মনত পৰিল: “তোমাৰ গৃহৰ প্রতি মোৰ আগ্ৰহে মোক গ্ৰাস কৰিব।”
18 The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign dost thou show us, seeing thou doest these things?
১৮তেতিয়া ইহুদী নেতা সকলে যীচুক সুধিলে, “এইবোৰ আচৰিত কাৰ্য কৰিবলৈ তুমি যে অধিকাৰ পাইছা, তাৰে কি প্রমাণ তুমি আমাক দেখুৱাব পাৰিবা?”
19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
১৯যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকে এই মন্দিৰ ভাঙি পেলোৱা, মই তিনি দিনত তাক তুলি ধৰিম।”
20 Then said the Jews, Forty-six years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
২০তেতিয়া ইহুদী সকলে ক’লে, “এই মন্দিৰ নির্ম্মাণ কৰোঁতে ছয়চল্লিশ বছৰ লাগিছিল আৰু তুমি তাক তিন দিনতে তুলিবা নে?”
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
২১কিন্তু যীচুৱে মন্দিৰ বুলি নিজৰ দেহ-মন্দিৰৰ বিষয়লৈহে সেই কথা কৈছিল।
22 When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.
২২সেয়ে, পাছত যেতিয়া যীচুক মৃত লোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা তোলা হ’ল, তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মনত পৰিল যে তেওঁ এই কথাই কৈছিল। তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ধৰ্মশাস্ত্ৰৰ কথাত আৰু যীচুৰ এই কথাত বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
23 And when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, at the feast, many believed in his name, when they saw his signs which he wrought.
২৩নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ সময়ত যিৰূচালেমত থাকোতে যীচুৱে যিবোৰ আচৰিত কাম কৰি চিন দেখুৱালে, সেইবোৰ দেখি বহু মানুহে তেওঁৰ নামত বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men;
২৪কিন্তু যীচুৱে হ’লে তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত নিজে কোনো বিশ্বাস স্থাপন নকৰিলে, কাৰণ তেওঁ সকলো লোককে জানিছিল।
25 and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
২৫মানুহৰ সম্পর্কে কোনো লোকৰ সাক্ষ্যৰ প্ৰয়োজন তেওঁৰ নাছিল; কিয়নো মানুহৰ অন্তৰত কি আছে, তেওঁ নিজে তাক জানিছিল।
