John 17
1 When Jesus had thus spoken, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee;

3 And this is the everlasting life, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send. (aiōnios g166)

4 I have glorified thee on the earth, having finished the work which thou gavest me to do;

5 and now, Father! do thou glorify me with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6 I manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

7 Now they know that all things whatever thou hast given me are from thee;

8 for I have given to them the words which thou hast given me; and they received them, and knew surely that I came forth from thee, and believed that thou didst send me.

9 I pray for them; I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine;

10 and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And I am no longer in the world; and they are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father! keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

12 While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me, and guarded them; and no one of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

13 But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in them.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Nange na lawk ahnimouh koe ka poe toe. Kai teh het talaivan hoi ka kâkuet hoeh e patetlah ahnimouh hai a kâkuet hoeh dawkvah talai taminaw ni a hmuhma awh.
15 I do not pray thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from evil.
Talaivan dawk hoi ahnimanaw na la hanelah ka ratoum hoeh, hawihoehnae koehoi na khetyawt hanlah ka ratoum.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Kai teh talaivan hoi ka kâkuet hoeh e patetlah ahnimouh hai talai hoi kâkuen hoeh.
17 Sanctify them in thy truth; thy word is truth.
Na lawkkatang hoi ahnimouh thoungsak haw. Nange lawk teh lawkkatang doeh.
18 As thou didst send me into the world, I also sent them into the world.
Kai heh talaivan na patoun awh e patetlah kai ni hai ahnimouh talaivan ka patoun.
19 And in their behalf I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in the truth.
Ahnimouh ni lawkkatang lahoi a thoung thai, na han kai ni kama hoi kama ka kamthoung.
20 Yet not for these alone do I pray, but also for those who believe in me through their word;
Ahnimouh han dueng ka ratoum hoeh, ahnimouh ni a dei e lawk lahoi kai kayuemnaw hanelah hai ka ratoum.
21 that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that thou didst send me.
Bawipa, nang ni kai na patoun e talaivan taminaw ni a yuem awh nahan, ahnimanaw pueng teh buet touh lah ao a vaiteh, kai hai nang dawk ka o patetlah ahnimanaw hoi nang dawk cungtalah o thai nahan ka ratoum. Het hateh Bawipa nang ni kai na patoun e talai taminaw ni a yuem awh nahane doeh.
22 And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one;
Maimanaw teh buet touh lah o e patetlah ahnimouh hai buet touh lah ao awh nahan na bawilennae na poe e patetlah ahnimouh koehai ka poe toe.
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Ahnimae thung vah kai ka o teh kaie ka thung vah nang na o. Ahnimouh teh buet touh lah ao teh a kuep thai awh nahan nang ni kai na patoun teh lung na pataw e patetlah ahnimouh hai lung na pataw tie talaivan ni a panue han.
24 Father! as to that which thou hast given me, I desire that they also be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Oe a Pa talaivan ao hoehnahlan hoi kai lung na pataw teh kai na poe e kaie bawilennae hah kai koe na poe e taminaw ni a hmu awh nahanelah, ahnimanaw hah kai ka onae koe kai hoi rei o sak hanelah ka ngai.
25 Righteous Father! and yet the world knew thee not! but I knew thee, and these knew that thou didst send me.

26 And I made known to them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
