Joel 1
1 The word of Jehovah, which came to Joel, the son of Pethuel.
ପଥୂୟେଲଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋୟେଲଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
2 Hear this, ye old men; Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land! Hath such a thing happened in your days, Or even in the days of your fathers?
ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣ, ଆଉ ହେ ଦେଶନିବାସୀସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ସମୟରେ କି ଏହା ଘଟିଅଛି?
3 Tell ye your children of it, And let your children tell their children, And their children another generation!
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଏହା ଜଣାଅ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଜଣାଉନ୍ତୁ, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆସନ୍ତା ପିଢ଼ିଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଉନ୍ତୁ।
4 That which the gnawing-locust left hath the swarming-locust eaten, And that which the swarming-locust left hath the licking-locust eaten, And that which the licking-locust left hath the consuming-locust eaten.
ଶୂକ କୀଟ ଯାହା ଛାଡ଼ିଲା, ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ତାହା ଖାଇଅଛି ଓ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ଯାହା ଛାଡ଼ିଲା, ପତଙ୍ଗ ତାହା ଖାଇଅଛି ଓ ପତଙ୍ଗ ଯାହା ଛାଡ଼ିଲା, ଘୁର୍ଘୁରିଆ ତାହା ଖାଇଅଛି।
5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep! Howl, all ye drinkers of wine, For the new wine, which is snatched from your mouths!
ହେ ମତୁଆଳାମାନେ, ଜାଗି ଉଠ ଓ ରୋଦନ କର, ହେ ମଦ୍ୟପାୟୀ ସମସ୍ତେ, ମିଷ୍ଟ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ସକାଶୁ ହାହାକାର କର; କାରଣ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖରୁ ଅନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଅଛି।
6 For a nation hath come up on my land, Strong, and not to be numbered; Their teeth are the teeth of the lion; They have the jaw-teeth of the lioness.
ଯେହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଉଠି ଆସିଅଛି, ସେ ବଳବାନ ଓ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ; ତାହାର ଦନ୍ତ ସିଂହଦନ୍ତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ତାହାର କଳଦନ୍ତ ଏକ ବୃହତ ସିଂହର କଳଦନ୍ତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ।
7 They have made my vine a desolation, And my fig-tree a broken branch; They have made it quite bare and cast it away; The branches thereof are made white.
ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ଉଜାଡ଼ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଡିମ୍ବିରି ବୃକ୍ଷର ଛେଲି ଛଡ଼ାଇ ପକାଇଅଛି; ସେ ତାହା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଛେଲିଶୂନ୍ୟ କରି ପକାଇ ଦେଇଅଛି; ତହିଁର ଶାଖାସବୁ ଶୁକ୍ଳ କରାଯାଇଅଛି।
8 Lament ye, like a bride, Clothed in sackcloth for the husband of her youth!
ଯୌବନକାଳୀନ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଶୋକରେ ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିହିତା କନ୍ୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିଳାପ କର।
9 The flour-offering and the drink-offering are cut off from the house of Jehovah; The priests, the servants of Jehovah mourn.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହରୁ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଓ ପେୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଅଛି; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପରିଚାରକ ଯାଜକଗଣ ଶୋକ କରନ୍ତି।
10 The field is laid waste; The ground mourneth, For the corn is laid waste; The new wine is dried up; The oil languisheth.
କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଉଜାଡ଼ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଭୂମି ଶୋକ କରୁଅଛି; କାରଣ ଶସ୍ୟ ଉଜାଡ଼ ହୋଇଅଛି, ନୂତନ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଶୁଖି ଯାଇଅଛି; ତୈଳ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇଅଛି।
11 Lament, O ye husbandmen, Howl, O ye vine-dressers, For the wheat and the barley, For the harvest of the field hath perished!
ହେ କୃଷକଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୁଅ, ହେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ପାଳକଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗହମ ଓ ଯବ ବିଷୟରେ ହାହାକାର କର; କାରଣ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ଶସ୍ୟ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
12 The vine is dried up, And the fig-tree languisheth; The pomegranate, the palm-tree, and the apple-tree, —All the trees of the field, are withered; Yea, joy is withered away from the sons of men.
ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ଡିମ୍ବିରିବୃକ୍ଷ ମ୍ଳାନ ହେଉଅଛି; ଡାଳିମ୍ବ ବୃକ୍ଷ, ମଧ୍ୟ ଖର୍ଜ୍ଜୁର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ନାଗରଙ୍ଗ ବୃକ୍ଷ, ଆଉ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଯାବତୀୟ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଅଛି।
13 Gird yourselves with sackcloth and mourn, ye priests! Howl, ye ministers of the altar! Come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God, For the flour-offering and the drink-offering are withholden from the house of your God!
ହେ ଯାଜକଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କଟି ବାନ୍ଧି ବିଳାପ କର; ହେ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିର ପରିଚାରକଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହାହାକାର କର; ହେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ପରିଚାରକଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆସ, ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧି ସାରାରାତ୍ରି କ୍ଷେପଣ କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରୁ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଓ ପେୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଯାଇଅଛି।
14 Appoint ye a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly! Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of Jehovah, your God, And cry unto Jehovah!
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ଉପବାସ ନିରୂପଣ କର, ମହାସଭା ଆହ୍ୱାନ କର, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଦେଶ ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର।
15 Alas, alas the day! For the day of Jehovah is near; Even as destruction from the Almighty doth it come.
ହାୟ ହାୟ ସେ ଦିନ! କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦିନ ସନ୍ନିକଟ, ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରଳୟର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତାହା ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବ।
16 Is not our food cut off from before our eyes, Yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କି ଅଲଗା କରାଯାଇ ନାହିଁ?
17 The seeds are rotten under their clods, The storehouses are laid desolate, the garners are destroyed; For the corn is withered.
ବିହନସବୁ ଟେଳା ତଳେ ପଚି ଯାଉଅଛି; ଗୋଲାସବୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସିତ, ଶସ୍ୟ ଅମାରସବୁ ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ଶସ୍ୟ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଅଛି।
18 How do the beasts groan, How do the herds of oxen wander perplexed, Having no pasture! The flocks of sheep also are destroyed.
ପଶୁଗଣ କିପରି ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ୱର କରନ୍ତି! ଚରା ନ ଥିବାରୁ ଗୋରୁପଲ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି; ମେଷପଲ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଉଅଛନ୍ତି।
19 To thee, O Jehovah, do I call, For a fire hath devoured the pastures of the desert, And a flame hath burned all the trees of the field!
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି; କାରଣ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରର ଚରାଣି ସ୍ଥାନସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ବୃକ୍ଷସବୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିଅଛି।
20 The beasts of the field, also, cry unto thee, For the streams of water are dried up, And a fire hath devoured the pastures of the desert!
ହଁ, କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ପଶୁସକଳ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଧଇଁସଇଁ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି; ଯେହେତୁ ଜଳସ୍ରୋତସବୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରର ଚରାଣି ସ୍ଥାନସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛି।
