Joel 2
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion; Sound an alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble! For the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is near!
Вострубите трубою в Сионе, проповедите в горе Моей святей, и да смятутся вси живущии на земли, яко предстоит день Господень, яко близ,
2 A day of darkness, and gloominess, A day of clouds, and thick darkness. As the morning light spreadeth itself upon the mountains, There cometh a numerous people and a strong; Like them there have been none of old time, And after them there shall not be, Even to the years of many generations.
день тмы и бури, день облака и мглы: якоже утро разлиются по горам людие мнози и крепцы, подобни им не быша от века, и по них не приложится до лет в род и род:
3 A fire devoureth before them, And behind them a flame burneth; The land is as the garden of Eden before them. And behind them a desolate wilderness! Yea, nothing escapeth them.
яже пред ним огнь потребляяй, и яже за ним возгараяся пламень: якоже рай Сладости земля пред лицем его, и яже созади его поле пагубы, и спасающагося не будет им:
4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, And like horsemen do they run;
якоже вид конский вид их, и якоже конницы, тако проженут:
5 Like rattling chariots they leap on the tops of the mountains; Like the crackling flame of fire, which devoureth stubble; Like a mighty host set in battle array.
якоже глас колесниц на верхи гор востекут, и яко глас пламене огненна попаляюща тростие, и яко людие мнози и крепцы воополчающиися на брань.
6 Before them the people tremble, And all faces gather blackness.
От лица их сокрушатся людие: всякое лице аки опаление горнца.
7 They run like mighty men; They climb the wall like warriors; They march every one on his way; They change not their paths.
Якоже борцы потекут, и якоже мужие храбри взыдут на ограды: и кийждо в путь свой пойдет, и не совратят путий своих,
8 One doth not thrust another; They march every one in his path, And though they rush among weapons, they are not wounded.
и кийждо от брата своего не отступит: отягощени оружии своими пойдут и в стрелах своих падут, но не скончаются.
9 They run through the city; They run upon the wall; They go up into the houses; They enter in at the windows, like a thief.
Града имутся, и на забрала востекут, и на храмины взлезут, и оконцами внидут, якоже татие.
10 The earth quaketh before them, And the heavens tremble; The sun and the moon are darkened, And the stars withdraw their shining.
Пред лицем его смятется земля и потрясется небо: солнце и луна померкнут, и звезды угасят свет свой.
11 Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; For very great is his host; Yea, it is mighty, executing his word; The day of Jehovah is great, and very terrible; Who shall be able to bear it?
И Господь даст глас Свой пред лицем силы Своея, яко мног есть зело полк Его, яко крепка дела словес Его: зане велик день Господень, велик и светел зело, и кто будет доволен ему?
12 Yet even now, saith Jehovah, Turn ye to me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning!
И ныне глаголет Господь Бог ваш: обратитеся ко Мне всем сердцем вашим в посте и в плачи и в рыдании,
13 And rend your hearts, and not your garments, And turn to Jehovah your God, For he is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness, And repenteth of a threatened evil.
и расторгните сердца ваша, а не ризы ваша, и обратитеся ко Господу Богу вашему, яко милостив и щедр есть, долготерпелив и многомилостив и раскаявайся о злобах.
14 Who knoweth but he will turn and repent, And leave a blessing behind him, Even a flour-offering and a drink-offering for Jehovah your God.
Кто весть, обратится ли, и раскается, и оставит за собою благословение и жертву и возлияние Господу Богу вашему?
15 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion; Appoint yea fast; proclaim a solemn assembly!
Вострубите трубою в Сионе, освятите пост, проповедите цельбу,
16 Gather the people; appoint a congregation; Assemble the elders; Gather the children and the sucklings! Let the bridegroom come forth from his chamber, And the bride from her nuptial bed!
соберите люди, освятите церковь, изберите старейшины, совокупите младенцы ссущия сосцы: да изыдет жених от ложа своего, и невеста от чертога своего.
17 Let the priests, the servants of Jehovah, Weep between the porch and the altar, And say, Spare thy people, O Jehovah, And give not thine inheritance to reproach, And to be a by-word to the nations! Why should they say among the nations, Where is their God?
Между степеньми жертвенника восплачутся жерцы служащии Господу и рекут: пощади, Господи, люди Твоя и не даждь достояния Твоего на укоризну, да не обладают ими языцы, да не рекут во языцех: где есть Бог их?
18 Then will Jehovah be zealous for his land, And have compassion on his people,
И возревнова Господь о земли Своей и пощаде люди Своя.
19 Yea, Jehovah will answer, and say to his people, Behold, I will send you corn, And new wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; And I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.
И отвеща Господь людем Своим и рече: се, Аз вам послю пшеницу и вино и масло древяное, и насытитеся их, и не дам вас ксему на поругание во языцех:
20 I will remove far from you the northern host, And I will drive it into a dry and desolate land; Its van toward the Eastern sea, And its rear toward the Western sea. And its scent shall come up, And its ill savor shall come up, Because it hath done great things.
и сущаго от севера отжену от вас и отрину его на землю безводную, и погублю лице его в мори первем и задняя его в мори последнем, и взыдет гнилость его, и взыдет смрад его, яко возвеличи дела своя.
21 Fear not, O land, exult and rejoice, For Jehovah hath done great things!
Дерзай, земле, радуйся и веселися, яко возвеличи Господь, еже сотворити.
22 Fear not, O ye beasts of the field, For the pastures of the desert spring up, For the tree beareth its fruit; The fig-tree and the vine yield their strength!
Дерзайте, скоти польстии, яко прозябнуша поля пустыни, яко древо принесе плод свой, виноград и смокви даша силу свою.
23 And, O ye sons of Zion, exult, And rejoice in Jehovah your God! For he giveth you the former rain in just measure, And causeth showers to come down upon you, Even the former rain, and the latter rain, as aforetime.
И чада Сионя, радуйтеся и веселитеся о Господе Бозе вашем, яко даде вам пищу в правду и одождит вам дождь ранний и поздный, якоже и прежде:
24 And the threshing-floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
и наполнятся гумна ваша пшеницы, и преизлиются точила вином и елеем.
25 And I will restore to you the years Which the swarming-locust hath eaten, The licking-locust, the consuming-locust, and the gnawing-locusts, My great army, which I sent among you.
И воздам вам вместо лет, в няже поядоша прузи и мшица, и сиплеве и гусеницы, сила Моя великая, юже послах на вы:
26 Ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, And praise the name of Jehovah your God, Who hath dealt wondrously with you; And my people shall never be put to shame.
и снесте ядуще и насытитеся, и похвалите имя Господа Бога вашего, Яже сотвори с вами чудеса: и не посрамятся людие Мои во век.
27 Ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am Jehovah, your God, and none else; And my people shall never be put to shame.
И уведите, яко посреде Израиля Аз есмь, и Аз Господь Бог ваш, и несть иного разве Мене: и не посрамятся ктому людие Мои во век.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, That I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
И будет по сих, и излию от Духа Моего на всяку плоть, и прорекут сынове ваши и дщери ваша, и старцы ваши сония узрят, и юноты ваши видения увидят:
29 Upon the men-servants also, and upon the handmaids, Will I pour out my spirit in those days.
ибо на рабы Моя и на рабыни Моя во дни оны излию от Духа Моего:
30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth; Blood and fire, and pillars of smoke.
и дам чудеса на небеси и на земли, кровь и огнь и курение дыма:
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of Jehovah cometh, The great and the terrible day. Then whoever calleth on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered;
солнце обратится во тму, и луна в кровь, прежде неже приити дню Господню великому и просвещенному:
32 For upon mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, shall be deliverance, As Jehovah hath spoken; And among the remnant, whom Jehovah shall call.
и будет, всяк иже призовет имя Господне, спасется: яко в горе Сионе и во Иерусалиме будет спасаемый, якоже рече Господь, и благовествуемии, ихже Господь призва.
