Job 5
1 Call now, see if any will answer thee! And to which of the holy ones wilt thou look?
“ಈಗ ನೀನು ಕರೆದರೆ, ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೋ? ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ?
2 Verily grief destroyeth the fool, And wrath consumeth the weak man.
ಮೂಢನನ್ನು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು; ಮುಗ್ಧನನ್ನು ಅಸುಹೆ ಸಾಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
3 I have seen an impious man taking root, But soon I cursed his habitation.
ಮೂಢನು ಬೇರೂರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವನ ಮನೆ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕಿಡಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
4 His children are far from safety; They are oppressed at the gate, and there is none to deliver them.
ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭದ್ರತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗುವರು; ಬಿಡಿಸತಕ್ಕವರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋತುಹೋಗುವರು.
5 His harvest the hungry devour, Carrying it even through the thorns; And a snare gapeth after his substance.
ಹಸಿದವರು ಅವನ ಪೈರನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವರು; ಮುಳ್ಳುಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾದವರು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವರು.
6 For affliction cometh not from the dust, Nor doth trouble spring up from the ground;
ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೊಂದರೆ ಮೊಳೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
7 Behold, man is born to trouble, As the sparks fly upward.
ಆದರೂ ಕಿಡಿಗಳು ಹಾರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಶ್ರಮೆಹೊಂದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.
8 I would look to God, And to God would I commit my cause,
“ನಾನು ನೀನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವರಿಗೇ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
9 Who doeth great things and unsearchable; Yea, marvellous things without number;
ದೇವರು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗದಷ್ಟು ಮಹಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, And sendeth water upon the fields;
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹೊಲಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
11 Who placeth the lowly in high places, And restoreth the afflicted to prosperity;
ದೇವರು ತಗ್ಗಿದವರನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದುಃಖವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಭದ್ರತೆಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 Who disappointeth the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot perform their enterprises;
ದೇವರು ವಂಚಕರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರ ಕೈಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
13 Who taketh the wise in their own craftiness, And bringeth to nought the counsel of the artful.
ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಕುತಂತ್ರಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
14 They meet with darkness in the daytime; They grope at noon as if it were night.
ಕುತಂತ್ರರು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಂತೆ ತಡಕಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
15 So he saveth the persecuted from their mouth; The oppressed from the hand of the mighty.
ದೇವರು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಮಾಡುವವರ ಬಾಯಿಯೆಂಬ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
16 So the poor hath hope, And iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ಅನ್ಯಾಯವು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth; Therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.
“ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ಗದರಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಬೇಡ.
18 For he bruiseth, and bindeth up; He woundeth, and his hands make whole.
ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಗಾಯ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರೂ ದೇವರೇ; ಹೊಡೆಯುವುದೂ ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವುದೂ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯೇ.
19 In six troubles will he deliver thee; Yea, in seven shall no evil touch thee.
ದೇವರು ಆರು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ಹೌದು, ಏಳರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೇಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದು.
20 In famine he will redeem thee from death, And in war from the power of the sword.
ಬರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರಣದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗದ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವರು.
21 Thou shalt be safe from the scourge of the tongue, And shalt not be afraid of destruction, when it cometh.
ನೀನು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೆಂಬ ಚಾಟಿಹೊಡೆತಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆ; ನಾಶ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh, And of the wild beasts of the land shalt thou not be afraid.
ನೀನು ನಾಶಕ್ಕೂ, ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೂ ನಗುವೆ; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field; Yea, the beasts of the forest shall be at peace with thee.
ಹೊಲದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಇರುವುದು; ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿರುವವು.
24 Thou shalt find that thy tent is in peace; Thou shalt visit thy dwelling, and not be disappointed.
ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರವು ಕ್ಷೇಮವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾಗ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
25 Thou shalt see thy descendants numerous, And thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.
26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in full age, As a shock of corn gathered in its season.
ಸಿವುಡು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಸೇರುವೆ.
27 Lo! this we have searched out; so it is: Hear it, and lay it up in thy mind!
“ಇದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಇದು ಸತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ, ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅನ್ವಯಿಸು.”
