Job 40
1 Moreover Jehovah spake to Job, and said:
याहवेहले इयोबलाई भन्नुभयो:
2 Will the censurer of the Almighty contend with him? Will the reprover of God answer?
“के सर्वशक्तिमान्सँग तर्क गर्नेले उहाँलाई सुधार गर्न सक्छ? परमेश्वरलाई दोष लगाउनेले नै उहाँलाई जवाफ देओस्!”
3 Then Job answered Jehovah, and said:
तब इयोबले याहवेहलाई जवाफ दिए:
4 Behold, I am vile! what can I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.
“म अयोग्य छु, म तपाईंलाई कसरी जवाफ दिन सक्छु? म मेरो हातले आफ्नो मुख छोप्दछु।
5 Once have I spoken, but I will not speak again; Yea, twice, but I will say no more.
म एक पटकको लागि बोलिहालेँ, तर मसँग कुनै जवाफ छैनँ, दुई पटक म बोलेँ, तर अब म केही भन्नेछैनँ।”
6 Then spake Jehovah to Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
तब याहवेह आँधीबेहरीको बीचबाट इयोबसँग बोल्नुभयो:
7 Gird up now thy loins like a man! I will ask thee, and do thou instruct me!
“अब मर्दझैँ कम्मर कसेर खडा हो; म तँलाई प्रश्न गर्नेछु, अनि तैँले मलाई जवाफ दिनेछस्।
8 Wilt thou even disannul my right? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayst be righteous?
“के तैँले मेरो न्यायलाई गलत ठहराउँछस्? के तैँले आफूलाई सही ठहराउनलाई मलाई दोषी ठहराउँछस्?”
9 Hast thou an arm like God's? Or canst thou thunder with thy voice like him?
के तेरो पाखुरा परमेश्वरको जस्तो छ? के तेरो सोर उहाँको जस्तै गर्जन सक्छ?
10 Deck thyself with grandeur and majesty, And array thyself in splendor and glory!
त्यसो भए आफूलाई महिमा र गौरवले आभूषित गर्! अनि आफूलाई आदर र सम्मानको वस्त्रले ढाक्।
11 Send forth the fury of thy wrath! Look upon every proud one, and abase him!
तेरो रिसको आगो पोखिदे; घमण्डीहरूलाई हेर्, र तिनीहरूलाई विनम्र पारिदे,
12 Look upon every proud one, and bring him low; Yea, tread down the wicked in their place!
हरेक घमण्डीलाई हेर्, र तिनीहरूलाई होच्च्याइदे, दुष्टलाई तिनीहरू उभिएकै ठाउँमा कुल्चिदे।
13 Hide them in the dust together; Shut up their faces in darkness!
तिनीहरूलाई एकसाथ धुलोमा गाडिदे; चिहानमा तिनीहरूका अनुहार कात्रोले छोपिदे।
14 Then, indeed, will I give thee the praise, That thine own right hand can save thee.
तब तेरो आफ्नै दाहिने हातले तँलाई रक्षा गर्न सक्छ भनी म आफैँले तँसँग स्वीकार गर्नेछु।
15 Behold the river-horse, which I have made as well as thyself; He feedeth on grass like the ox.
“तँसँगै मैले बनाएको जलगैँडालाई हेर, जसले गोरुले जस्तै घाँस खान्छ।
16 Behold, what strength is in his loins! And what force in the muscles of his belly!
त्यसको कम्मरमा कति बल छ, त्यसको पेटका मांसपेशीहरूमा कति शक्ति छ!
17 He bendeth his tail, like the cedar, And the sinews of his thighs are twisted together.
त्यसको पुच्छर देवदारुजस्तै बलियो हुन्छ; त्यसका तिघ्राका नशाहरू खूब कसिएर बुनिएका छन्।
18 His bones are pipes of brass, And his limbs are bars of iron.
त्यसका हड्डीहरू काँसोका नलीहरू जस्तै बलिया छन्; त्यसका हातखुट्टाहरू फलामका छडी जस्तै छन्।
19 He is chief among the works of God; He that made him gave him his sword.
त्यो परमेश्वरका कामहरूमध्ये पहिलो दर्जामा आउँछ; तापनि त्यसलाई बनाउनुहुनेले आफ्नो तरवारले त्यसलाई भेट्न सक्नुहुन्छ।
20 For the mountains supply him with food, Where all the beasts of the field play.
डाँडाहरूले तिनीहरूका उब्जनी ल्याउँछन्, र सबै जङ्गली जनावरहरू त्यसको छेउछाउतिरै खेल्छन्।
21 He lieth down under the lote-plants, In the covert of reeds, and in the fens.
कमलको बोटमुनि त्यो ढल्कन्छ, सिमसारका निगालोहरूका आडमा लुक्छ।
22 The lote-plants cover him with their shadow, And the willows of the brook compass him about.
कमलका फूलहरूले त्यसलाई आफ्ना छायामुनि लुकाउँछन्; खोलाको किनारका लहरे पीपलले त्यसलाई घेरेर राख्छन्।
23 Lo! the stream overfloweth, but he starteth not; He is unmoved though Jordan rush forth even to his mouth.
वेगसँग उर्लेर आएको नदीलाई देखेर त्यो डराउँदैन; यर्दन नदीको भेल त्यसको विरुद्ध मुखैमा उर्लेर आए तापनि त्यो सुरक्षित रहन्छ।
24 Can one take him before his eyes, Or pierce his nose with hooks?
के त्यसको आँखा खुल्ला हुँदा कसैले त्यसलाई पक्रन सक्छ? वा त्यसलाई पासोमा पारेर त्यसको नाक छेड्न सक्छ?
