Job 4
1 Then spake Eliphaz the Temanite, and said:
၁ထိုအခါ တေမန် အမျိုးသားဧလိဖတ် မြွက်ဆို သည်ကား၊
2 If one attempt a word with thee, wilt thou be offended? But who can refrain from speaking?
၂ငါတို့သည် သင် နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် စမ်း လျှင်၊ သင်သည် စိတ်ပျက် ကောင်းပျက်လိမ့်မည်။ သို့ သော်လည်း၊ အဘယ် သူသည် စကား မ ပြောဘဲ နေနိုင် မည်နည်း။
3 Behold, thou hast admonished many; Thou hast strengthened feeble hands;
၃သင်သည် လူအများ တို့ကို ဆုံးမ ပြီ။ လက် မ စွမ်းသောသူတို့ကို ခိုင်ခံ့ စေပြီ။
4 Thy words have upheld him that was falling, And thou hast given strength to feeble knees.
၄သင် ၏စကား သည် လဲ လုသောသူကို ထောက်မ ပြီ။ နုန့်နဲ သောဒူး တို့ကိုလည်း တည့် စေပြီ။
5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; It toucheth thee, and thou art confounded!
၅ယခု မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်အမှုတွေ့၍ စိတ်ပျက် ၏။ အထိ အခိုက်ခံရသောကြောင့် မိန်းမော တွေဝေလျက် နေ၏။
6 Is not thy fear of God thy hope, And the uprightness of thy ways thy confidence?
၆သင် ၏ရိုသေ သောသဘော၊ ယုံကြည် ကိုးစားသောသဘော၊ မြော်လင့် သောသဘော၊ တည်ကြည် သော သဘော၊ တရားသဖြင့် ကျင့်တတ်သောသဘောသည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။
7 Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished being innocent? Or where have the righteous been cut off?
၇အပြစ် နှင့်ကင်းလွတ်လျက်ပင်ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ အဘယ်သူ ရောက်သနည်း။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် အဘယ် အရပ်၌ ဆုံးသနည်းဟု ဆင်ခြင် ပါလော့။
8 According to what I have seen, they who plough iniquity, And sow mischief, reap the same.
၈ငါသိ မြင်သည်အတိုင်း ၊ မ တရားသော လယ်ထွန် ခြင်းကို ပြုသောသူနှင့် အဓမ္မ မျိုးစေ့ကို ကြဲ သောသူတို့ သည် ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီစပါးရိတ် တတ်ကြ၏။
9 By the blast of God they perish, And by the breath of his nostrils they are consumed.
၉ဘုရား သခင်မှုတ် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ပျက်စီး ၍ ၊ ရှုတော်မူသောအသက်ဖြင့်လည်း ဆုံးရှုံး ရကြ ၏။
10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken.
၁၀ခြင်္သေ့ ဟောက် ခြင်း၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော ခြင်္သေ့ အသံ မြည်ခြင်း၊ ခြင်္သေ့ ကလေးကိုက်ဝါး ခြင်း ငြိမ်းရ၏။
11 The fierce lion perisheth for lack of prey, And the whelps of the lioness are scattered abroad.
၁၁ဘမ်း ၍ စားစရာမ ရှိသောကြောင့်၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော ခြင်္သေ့ သည်သေ ၍၊ ခြင်္သေ့ မ၏သား ငယ်တို့သည် အရပ်ရပ်ကွဲပြား ရကြ၏။
12 A word was once secretly brought to me, And mine ear caught a whisper thereof.
၁၂တရံရောအခါငါ သည် တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ ဗျာဒိတ် တော်ကို ရ၍ တို သောအသံကိုကြား ရ၏။
13 Amid thoughts from visions of the night, When deep sleep falleth upon men,
၁၃လူ တို့သည်ကြီးစွာ သော အိပ်ပျော်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၍ ၊ ထူးဆန်းသောရူပါရုံ ထင်ရှားရာ ကာလညဉ့် အချိန်၌ ငါအောက်မေ့စဉ်တွင်၊
14 A fear and a horror came upon me, Which made all my bones to shake.
၁၄ငါ့ အရိုး များ တုန်လှုပ် သည်တိုင်အောင်၊ ငါ အလွန်ကြောက် အားကြီး၍ ထိတ်လန့် လျက်နေ၏။
15 Then a spirit passed before my face, The hair of my flesh rose on end;
၁၅ဝိညာဉ် တပါးသည် ငါ့ ရှေ့ ၌ ကန့်လန့်ရှောက်သွား ၍၊ ငါသည် ကြက်သီး မွေးညှင်းထ လေ၏။
16 It stood still, but its form I could not discern; An image was before mine eyes; There was silence, and I heard a voice:
၁၆ထိုဝိညာဉ်သည်ရပ် နေ၍၊ ပုံ သဏ္ဍာန်လည်း သေချာစွာ မထင်မရှားအရိပ်ကိုသာ ငါ မြင်ရ၏။ ငြင်း သော အသံရှိ၍ ငါကြား သောစကား သံဟူမူကား၊
17 “Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall man be more pure than his Maker?
၁၇သေတတ်သောလူ သည် ဘုရား သခင့်ရှေ့မှာ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းရှိရသလော။ လူ သတ္တဝါသည် ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောအရှင်ရှေ့မှာ သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်း ရှိရသလော။
18 Behold, he putteth no trust in his ministering spirits, And his angels he chargeth with frailty.
၁၈အမှု တော်ထမ်းတို့ကို ယုံ တော်မ မူ။ ကောင်းကင်တမန် တော်တို့၌ စုံလင် ခြင်းမရှိဟု ထင်တော်မူ၏။
19 What then are they who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who crumble to pieces, as if moth-eaten!
၁၉သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် မြေမှုန့် ၌ တည်၍ မြေ ထဲတွင် နေ တတ်သောသူတို့ကို အဘယ်ဆိုဘွယ်ရှိအံ့နည်း။ ထိုသူ တို့ကို ပိုးရွ ပင်နိုင်တတ်၏။
20 Between morning and evening are they destroyed; They perish for ever, and none regardeth it.
၂၀တနေ့ခြင်းတွင် ပျက်စီး တတ်ကြ၏။ အဘယ်သူမျှပမာဏ မ ပြုဘဲ အစဉ် ဆုံးရှုံး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်ကြ၏။
21 The excellency that is in them is torn away; They die before they have become wise.”
၂၁သူ တို့၏ဂုဏ်အသရေကွယ်ပျောက်၍ သူတို့သည် ပညာ မ ရှိဘဲ သေ သွားတတ်ကြ၏။
