Job 37
1 At this my heart trembleth, And leapeth out of its place.
१“खरोखर हे ऐकूण माझे हृदय थरथरते, ते त्याच्या जागेवरून सरकले आहे.
2 Hear, O hear, the thunder of his voice, And the noise which goeth forth from his mouth!
२ऐका! हो ऐका! देवाच्या आवाजाची गर्जना ऐका, देवाच्या मुखातून येणारा ध्वनी ऐका.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, And his lightning to the ends of the earth.
३देव त्याच्या विजेला सर्व आकाशात चमकण्यासाठी पाठवतो. ती सर्व पृथ्वीभर चमकते.
4 After it the thunder roareth; He thundereth with his voice of majesty, And restraineth it not, when his voice is heard.
४त्यानंतर आवाजाची गर्जना होते, देव त्याच्या वैभवी आवाजात गर्जतो. वीज चमकल्यानंतर देवाची गर्जना ऐकू येते.
5 God thundereth with his voice marvellously; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
५देवाचा गडगडाटी आवाज अद्भुत आहे. देव आपल्याला न कळणाऱ्या महान गोष्टी करत असतो.
6 For he saith to the snow, “Be thou on the earth!” To the shower also, even the showers of his might.
६तो हिमाला पृथ्वीवर पडण्याची आज्ञा करतो. ‘पावसास पृथ्वीवर जोरात पड असे सांगतो.’
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may acknowledge him.
७देवाने निर्माण केलेल्या सर्व लोकांस तो काय करु शकतो हे कळावे म्हणून देव या गोष्टी करतो हा त्याचा पुरावा आहे.
8 Then the beasts go into dens, And abide in their caverns.
८म्हणून पशू लपण्यास जातात, आणि त्यांच्या गूहेत राहतात.
9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind, And cold out of the north.
९दक्षिणेकडून चक्रीवादळ येते उत्तरेकडून थंड वारे येतात.
10 By the breath of God ice is formed, And the broad waters become narrow,
१०देवाच्या नि: श्वासाने बर्फ दिल्या जाते आणि पाण्याच्या विस्तार धातूसारखा गोठून जातो.
11 Yea, with moisture he burdeneth the clouds; He spreadeth abroad his lightning-clouds.
११खरोखर, देव गडद ढगांना पाण्याने भरतो तो आपल्या विजेचा ढग चोहोकडे पसरवतो.
12 They move about by his direction, To execute all his commands throughout the world;
१२तो ढगांना सर्व पृथ्वीभर त्याच्या मार्गदर्शनाने पसरण्याची आज्ञा करतो देव जी आज्ञा देतो ती त्यांनी सर्व पृथ्वीच्या पाठीवर पाळावी.
13 Whether he cause them to come for punishment, Or for the land, or for mercy.
१३काही वेळा हे सुधारणुक करण्यासाठी असते, काहीवेळा त्यांच्या भूमीसाठी, हे सर्व तो घडवून आणतो, आणि काहीवेळा विश्वासाच्या कराराची कृती असते
14 Give ear to this, O Job! Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God!
१४ईयोबा, याकडे लक्ष दे, थांब आणि देव ज्या आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टी करतो त्यांचा विचार कर.
15 Dost thou know when God gave commandment to them, And caused the lightning of his cloud to flash?
१५देव ढगांवर आपला अधिकार कसा गाजवतो ते तुला माहीत आहे का? तो विजेला कसे चमकावितो ते तुला माहीत आहे का?
16 Dost thou understand the balancing of the clouds, The wondrous works of Him that is perfect in knowledge?
१६ढग आकाशात कसे तरंगतात ते तुला कळते का? देव जो ज्ञानाने परिपूर्ण त्याचे आश्चर्यकर्म तू जाणतोस काय?
17 How thy garments become warm, When he maketh the earth still by the south wind?
१७तुझे कपडे गरम कसे होतात हे तुला समजते काय, दक्षिणेकडून वारे वाहते तेव्हा सगळे काही स्तब्ध असते.
18 Canst thou like him spread out the sky, Which is firm like a molten mirror?
१८तो जसे आकाश पसरवतो तसे तू करू शकतो काय? जे आकाश ओतीव आरशाप्रमाणे अढळ आहे?
19 Teach us what we shall say to him! For we cannot set in order our words by reason of darkness.
१९देवाला आम्ही काय सांगायचे ते तू आम्हांला सांग. अंधारामुळे आम्हास आमचे भाषण रचता येत नाही.
20 Shall it be told him that I would speak? Shall a man speak, that he may be consumed?
२०मला त्याच्याशी बोलायचे आहे असे तो म्हणाला काय? तसे म्हणणे म्हणजे स्वत: चा नाश करून घेणे आहे.
21 For now men do not look upon the light, When it is bright in the skies, When the wind hath passed over them, and made them clear.
२१आता, लोक सुर्य जेव्हा तापत असतो त्यावेळी लोक त्याकडे आकाशात बघू शकत नाही वाऱ्याने ढग पळवून लावले की तो स्वच्छ आणि चकचकीत दिसतो.
22 From the north cometh gold; But with God is terrible majesty!
२२उत्तरेकडून सोनेरी वैभव येते, देवाच्या भोवती भितीदायक तेजोवलय असते.
23 The Almighty, we cannot find him out; Great is he in power and justice, Abundant in righteousness; he doth not oppress.
२३जो सर्वशक्तिमान तो महान आहे आपणाला त्याचा शोध लागत नाही, तो सामर्थ्यवान आहे न्यायाने वागतो. तो लोकांस त्रास देत नाही.
24 Therefore let men fear him! Upon none of the wise in heart will he look.
२४म्हणूनच लोक त्याचे भय धरतात. परंतु देव आपल्या शहाणपणाचा अभिमान बाळगणाऱ्या लोकांस मान देत नाही.”
