Job 37
1 At this my heart trembleth, And leapeth out of its place.
“ഇതിങ്കൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയം വിറയ്ക്കുന്നു; അതു സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു കുതിച്ചുചാടുന്നു.
2 Hear, O hear, the thunder of his voice, And the noise which goeth forth from his mouth!
അവിടത്തെ ശബ്ദത്തിന്റെ ഗർജനവും അവിടത്തെ വായിൽനിന്നുള്ള മുഴക്കവും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, And his lightning to the ends of the earth.
അവിടത്തെ മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകളെ ആകാശത്തിൻകീഴിലെല്ലാം അഴിച്ചുവിടുന്നു, അതിനെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറുതിയോളം അയയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 After it the thunder roareth; He thundereth with his voice of majesty, And restraineth it not, when his voice is heard.
അവയ്ക്കു പിന്നാലെ ഒരു ഗർജനശബ്ദം ഉയരുന്നു; തന്റെ മഹത്തായ നാദത്തോടെ അവിടന്ന് ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ ശബ്ദം മുഴങ്ങുമ്പോഴും അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണരിനെ തടഞ്ഞുവെക്കുന്നില്ല.
5 God thundereth with his voice marvellously; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാദം അത്ഭുതകരമായി ഇടിമുഴക്കും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു; നമുക്കു ഗ്രഹിക്കാനാകാത്ത വൻകാര്യങ്ങൾ അവിടന്നു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
6 For he saith to the snow, “Be thou on the earth!” To the shower also, even the showers of his might.
മഞ്ഞിനോട്, ‘ഭൂമിയിൽ പതിക്കുക’ എന്നും മഴയോട്, ‘അതിശക്തമായ പേമാരി പൊഴിക്കുക’ എന്നും അവിടന്നു കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may acknowledge him.
സകലമനുഷ്യരും അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, അവിടന്ന് ഓരോ മനുഷ്യന്റെയും പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നിർത്തിവെപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
8 Then the beasts go into dens, And abide in their caverns.
മൃഗങ്ങളെല്ലാം അവയുടെ ഒളിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങുന്നു; ഓരോന്നും അതിന്റെ ഗുഹയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.
9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind, And cold out of the north.
കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് അതിന്റെ പള്ളിയറയിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നു; വടക്കൻകാറ്റിൽനിന്നു ശൈത്യവും.
10 By the breath of God ice is formed, And the broad waters become narrow,
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിശ്വാസത്താൽ മഞ്ഞുകട്ട ഉളവാകുന്നു; ആഴിയുടെ പരപ്പ് ദ്രവിച്ചുറഞ്ഞു കട്ടിയാകുന്നു.
11 Yea, with moisture he burdeneth the clouds; He spreadeth abroad his lightning-clouds.
ഈർപ്പത്താൽ അവിടന്നു മേഘത്തെ സാന്ദ്രമാക്കുന്നു; അവയിലൂടെ അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണർ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു.
12 They move about by his direction, To execute all his commands throughout the world;
ഭൂമുഖത്തെങ്ങും അവിടന്നു കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നിറവേറ്റുന്നതിന് അവിടത്തെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരം അവ ചുറ്റിസഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
13 Whether he cause them to come for punishment, Or for the land, or for mercy.
അവിടന്നു മേഘങ്ങളെ അയച്ച് മനുഷ്യരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നു, അല്ലായെങ്കിൽ ഭൂമിയെ നനയ്ക്കുകയും അവിടത്തെ സ്നേഹം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
14 Give ear to this, O Job! Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God!
“ഇയ്യോബേ, ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക; ഒന്നു നിൽക്കുക, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി ചിന്തിക്കുക.
15 Dost thou know when God gave commandment to them, And caused the lightning of his cloud to flash?
ദൈവം മേഘജാലങ്ങളെ എങ്ങനെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നു എന്നും തന്റെ മിന്നൽപ്പിണരിനെ എങ്ങനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നും താങ്കൾക്കറിയാമോ?
16 Dost thou understand the balancing of the clouds, The wondrous works of Him that is perfect in knowledge?
മേഘപാളികൾ സന്തുലിതാവസ്ഥയിൽ തങ്ങിനിൽക്കുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ എന്നും ജ്ഞാനപൂർണനായവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും നീ അറിയുന്നുണ്ടോ?
17 How thy garments become warm, When he maketh the earth still by the south wind?
തെക്കൻകാറ്റിനാൽ ഭൂമി ശാന്തമായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾപ്പോലും വസ്ത്രത്തിനുള്ളിൽ വിയർത്തൊലിക്കുന്ന നിനക്കു
18 Canst thou like him spread out the sky, Which is firm like a molten mirror?
വെങ്കലക്കണ്ണാടി വാർത്തെടുക്കുമ്പോലെ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിക്കുന്നവന്റെ പങ്കാളിയാകാൻ നിനക്കു കഴിയുമോ?
19 Teach us what we shall say to him! For we cannot set in order our words by reason of darkness.
“അവിടത്തോട് എന്തു പറയണമെന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കുക, ഞങ്ങളിൽ ബാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അന്ധകാരംനിമിത്തം പരാതി തയ്യാറാക്കാൻപോലും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുന്നില്ല.
20 Shall it be told him that I would speak? Shall a man speak, that he may be consumed?
എനിക്കു സംസാരിക്കണം എന്ന് അവിടത്തോടു ബോധിപ്പിക്കണമോ? അങ്ങനെ സ്വയം വിഴുങ്ങപ്പെടാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ടോ?
21 For now men do not look upon the light, When it is bright in the skies, When the wind hath passed over them, and made them clear.
കാറ്റടിച്ച് മേഘമൊഴിഞ്ഞ സ്വച്ഛമായ ആകാശത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന സൂര്യനെ നോക്കാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിയുകയില്ല.
22 From the north cometh gold; But with God is terrible majesty!
ഉത്തരദിക്കിൽനിന്നും സൗവർണശോഭയിൽ അവിടന്ന് ആഗമിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവം ഭയജനകമായ തേജസ്സിലേറി വരുന്നു.
23 The Almighty, we cannot find him out; Great is he in power and justice, Abundant in righteousness; he doth not oppress.
സർവശക്തൻ നമുക്ക് അപ്രാപ്യൻ, അവിടന്നു ശക്തിയിൽ അത്യുന്നതൻ; അവിടന്നു ന്യായവും മഹത്തായ നീതിയും ഉള്ളവൻ ആയതിനാൽ ആരെയും അടിച്ചമർത്തുന്നില്ല.
24 Therefore let men fear him! Upon none of the wise in heart will he look.
അതിനാൽ മനുഷ്യർ അവിടത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ജ്ഞാനികളെന്നു ഭാവിക്കുന്നവരെ അവിടന്ന് ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല.”
