Job 33
1 Hear, therefore, my discourse, I pray thee, O Job! And attend unto all my words!
“ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೋಬನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
2 Behold, I am opening my mouth; My tongue is now speaking in my palate.
ಈಗ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
3 My words shall be in the uprightness of my heart; My lips shall utter knowledge purely.
ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತ್ವವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತವೆ.
4 The spirit of God made me, And the breath of the Almighty gave me life.
ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಶ್ವಾಸವೇ ನನಗೆ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.
5 If thou art able, answer me; Set thyself in array against me; stand up!
ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು; ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲೇ ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಾದಿಸು.
6 Behold, I, like thee, am a creature of God; I also was formed of clay.
ನೋಡು, ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಸಹ ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ರೂಪಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
7 Behold, my terror cannot dismay thee, Nor can my greatness be heavy upon thee.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಭೀತಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸದಿರಲಿ; ನನ್ನ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು.
8 Surely thou hast said in my hearing, I have heard the sound of thy words:
“ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ, ನೀನು ಆಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ. ನಾನೇ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ:
9 “I am pure, and without transgression; I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
‘ನಾನು ಶುದ್ಧನು, ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಪಾಪವಿಲ್ಲ.
10 Behold, He seeketh causes of hostility against me; He regardeth me as his enemy.
ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks; He watcheth all my paths.”
ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೋಳ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.’
12 Behold, in this thou art not right; I will answer thee; For God is greater than man.
“ಹೀಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡವರು.
13 Why dost thou contend with Him? For he giveth no account of any of his doings.
ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವುದೇಕೆ?
14 For God speaketh once, Yea, twice, when man regardeth it not.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೂ ಯಾರು ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falleth upon men, In slumber upon the bed;
ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ತೂಕಡಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ,
16 Then openeth he the ears of men, And sealeth up for them admonition;
ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು, ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುದ್ರೆಹಾಕಿ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
17 That he may turn man from his purpose, And hide pride from man.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ದುಷ್ಕಾರ್ಯದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ, ಅವನ ಗರ್ವವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ದೇವರು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
18 Thus he saveth him from the pit, Yea, his life from perishing by the sword.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕುಣಿಯಿಂದ ತಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, And with a continual agitation of his bones,
“ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋವಿನಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವಾಗ, ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೋವು ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ, ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿದ್ದುತ್ತಾರೆ.
20 So that his mouth abhorreth bread, And his taste the choicest food;
ಆಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಹಸಿವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅವನ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿ ಊಟವೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು.
21 His flesh is consumed, that it cannot be seen, And his bones, that were invisible, are naked;
ಅವನ ಶರೀರವು ಕಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸವೆಯುವುದು; ಕಾಣದಿದ್ದ ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಸಹ ಬಯಲಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near to the pit, And his life to the destroyers.
ಹೀಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವುದು. ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಾವಿನ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಹಕರ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗುವುದು.
23 But if there be with him a messenger, An interpreter, one of a thousand, Who may show unto man his duty,
ಆಗ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದೂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ,
24 Then will God be gracious to him, and say, “Save him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.”
ಆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಅಧೋಲೋಕವೆಂಬ ಕುಣಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುವುದರಿಂದ ಇವನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಇವನಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
25 His flesh shall became fresher than a child's; He shall return to the days of his youth.
ಅವನ ದೇಹವು ಮಗುವಿನ ದೇಹಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೃದುವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಅವನು ಪುನಃ ತನ್ನ ಯೌವನದ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
26 He shall pray to God, and he will be favorable to him, And permit him to see his face with joy, And restore unto man his righteousness.
ಆಗ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುವನು; ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವರು; ಅವನು ಆನಂದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು; ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವರು.
27 He shall sing among men, and say, “I sinned; I acted perversely; Yet hath he not requited me for it:
ಅವನು ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುವನು: ‘ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಡೆದೆ. ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ದಂಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇವರು ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ,
28 He hath delivered me from going down to the pit, And my life beholdeth the light.”
ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಜೀವ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸಲು ಬಾಳುವೆನು.’
29 Lo! all these things doeth God Time after time with man,
“ನೋಡು, ದೇವರು ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿಯಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವರು.
30 That he may bring him back from the pit, That he may enjoy the light of the living.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಅಧೋಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು, ಜೀವ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆಯೇ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವರು.
31 Mark well, O Job! hearken to me! Keep silence, and I will speak.
“ಯೋಬನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಗಮನಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳು. ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇಳು, ಈಗ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
32 Yet if thou hast any thing to say, answer me! Speak! for I desire to pronounce thee innocent.
ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಳು, ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು, ಮಾತನಾಡು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನನ್ನ ಆಶೆ.
33 But if not, do thou listen to me! Keep silence, and I will teach thee wisdom!
ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ಮೌನವಾಗಿರು, ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.”
