Job 28
1 Truly there is a vein for silver, And a place for gold, which men refine.
— «Шүбһисизки, күмүч тепилидиған канлар бар, Алтунниң тавлинидиған өз орни бардур;
2 Iron is obtained from earth, And stone is melted into copper.
Төмүр болса йәр астидин қезивелиниду, Мис болса таштин еритилип елиниду.
3 Man putteth an end to darkness; He searcheth to the lowest depths For the stone of darkness and the shadow of death.
Инсанлар [йәр астидики] қараңғулуққа чәк қойиду; У йәр қәригичә чарлап жүрүп, Қараңғулуққа тәвә, өлүмниң сайисидә турған ташларни издәйду.
4 From the place where they dwell they open a shaft; Forgotten by the feet, They hang down, they swing away from men.
У йәр йүзидикиләрдин жирақ җайда тик болған қудуқни колайду; Мана шундақ адәм аяқ басмайдиған, унтулған йәрләрдә улар арғамчини тутуп бошлуқта пулаңлап жүриду, Кишиләрдин жирақта есилип туриду.
5 The earth, out of which cometh bread, Is torn up underneath, as it were by fire.
Ашлиқ чиқидиған йәр, Тәкти коланғанда болсаялқундәк көрүниду;
6 Her stones are the place of sapphires, And she hath clods of gold for man.
Йәрдики ташлар арисидин көк яқутлар чиқиду, Униңда алтун рудисиму бардур.
7 The path thereto no bird knoweth, And the vulture's eye hath not seen it;
У йолни һеч қандақ алғур қуш билмәйду, Һәтта сарниң көзиму униңға йәтмигән.
8 The fierce wild beast hath not trodden it; The lion hath not passed over it.
Һакавур житқучларму у йәрни һеч дәссәп бақмиған, Әшәддий ширму у җайдин һеч қачан өтүп бақмиған.
9 Man layeth his hand upon the rock; He upturneth mountains from their roots;
Инсан балиси қолини чақмақ тешиниң үстигә тәккүзиду, У тағларни йилтизидин қомуриветиду.
10 He cleaveth out streams in the rocks, And his eye seeth every precious thing;
Ташлар арисидин у қаналларни чапиду; Шундақ қилип униң көзи һәр хил қиммәтлик нәрсиләрни көриду;
11 He bindeth up the streams, that they trickle not, And bringeth hidden things to light.
Йәр астидики еқинларни тешип кәтмисун дәп уларни тосувалиду; Йошурун нәрсиләрни у ашкарилайду.
12 But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
Бирақ даналиқ нәдин тепилар? Йорутулушниң макани нәдиду?
13 Man knoweth not the price thereof, Nor can it be found in the land of the living.
Инсан балилири униң қиммәтликлигини һеч билмәс, У тирикләрниң зиминидин тепилмас.
14 The deep saith, It is not in me; And the sea saith, It is not with me.
[Йәр] теги: «Мәндә әмәс» дәйду, Деңиз болса: «Мән биләнму биллә әмәстур» дәйду.
15 It cannot be gotten for gold, Nor shall silver be weighed out as the price thereof.
Даналиқни сап алтун билән сетивалғили болмайду, Күмүчниму униң билән бир таразида тартқили болмас.
16 It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, With the precious onyx or the sapphire.
Һәтта Офирда чиқидиған алтун, ақ һеқиқ яки көк яқут биләнму бир таразида тартқили болмайду.
17 Gold and crystal are not to be compared with it; Nor can it be purchased with jewels of fine gold.
Алтун вә хрусталъниму униң билән селиштурғили болмайду, Есил алтун қача-қучилар униң билән һеч алмаштурулмас.
18 No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; For wisdom is more precious than pearls.
У үнчә-марҗан, хрусталъни адәмниң есидин чиқириду; Даналиқни елиш қизил яқутларни елиштин әвзәлдур.
19 The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be purchased with pure gold.
Ефиопийәдики сериқ яқут униңға йәтмәс, Сериқ алтунму униң билән бәслишәлмәйду.
20 Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?
Ундақта, даналиқ нәдин тепилиду? Йорутулушниң макани нәдиду?
21 Since it is hidden from the eyes of all living, And kept close from the fowls of the air.
Чүнки у барлиқ һаят егилириниң көзидин йошурулған, Асмандики учар-қанатлардинму йошурун туриду.
22 Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.
Һалакәт вә өлүм пәқәтла: «Униң шөһритидин хәвәр алдуқ» дәйду.
23 God knoweth the way to it; He knoweth its dwelling-place.
Униң маңған йолини чүшинидиған, Туридиған йерини билидиған пәқәтла бир Худадур.
24 For he seeth to the ends of the earth, And surveyeth all things under the whole heaven.
Чүнки Униң көзи йәрниң қәригичә йетиду, У асманниң астидики барлиқ нәрсиләрни көриду.
25 When he gave the winds their weight, And meted out the waters by measure;
У шамалларниң күчини таразиға салғанда, [Дунияниң] сулирини өлчигәндә,
26 When he prescribed a law to the rain, And a path to the thunder-flash, —
Ямғурларға қанунийәт чүшүргинидә, Гүлдүрмаминиң чақмиқиға йолини бекиткинидә,
27 Then did he see it, and make it known; He established it, and searched it out.
У чағда У даналиққа қарап уни баян қилған; Уни нәмунә қилип бәлгүлигән; Шундақ, У униң баш-айиғиға қарап чиқип,
28 But he said unto man, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.
Инсанға: «Мана, Рәбдин қорқуш даналиқтур; Яманлиқтин жирақлишиш йорутулуштур» — дегән».
