Job 28
1 Truly there is a vein for silver, And a place for gold, which men refine.

2 Iron is obtained from earth, And stone is melted into copper.
Ny vy dia alaina avy amin’ ny tany, ary ny varahina arendrika avy amin’ ny vato.
3 Man putteth an end to darkness; He searcheth to the lowest depths For the stone of darkness and the shadow of death.
Ny mpihady vola mampisava ny maizina ka mizaha hatramin’ ny faran’ ny zavatra rehetra ao, dia ny vaton’ ny aizim-pito sy ny aloky ny fahafatesana;
4 From the place where they dwell they open a shaft; Forgotten by the feet, They hang down, they swing away from men.
Mihady lavaka mihalavitra amin’ izay itoeran’ olona izy ka tsy ampoizin’ ny tongotra akory, ary mihantona sy mitsingevaheva any ambany lavitra ny olona izy.
5 The earth, out of which cometh bread, Is torn up underneath, as it were by fire.
Ny tany no ihavian’ ny hanina; Ary ny ao ambaniny dia avadika tahaka ny afo.
6 Her stones are the place of sapphires, And she hath clods of gold for man.
Fitoeran’ ny safira ny vatony, ary misy akoram-bolamena ao aminy
7 The path thereto no bird knoweth, And the vulture's eye hath not seen it;
Làlana tsy fantatry ny vorona mpihaza ary tsy hitan’ ny mason’ ny voromahery,
8 The fierce wild beast hath not trodden it; The lion hath not passed over it.
Sady tsy nodiavin’ ny zanaky ny bibi-dia ary tsy mba nalehan’ ny liona masiaka.
9 Man layeth his hand upon the rock; He upturneth mountains from their roots;
Maninjitra ny tànany amin’ ny vatokaranana ireo ary mamadika ny tendrombohitra hatramin’ ny fotony;
10 He cleaveth out streams in the rocks, And his eye seeth every precious thing;
Ny vatolampy tatahany hatao lalan-drano, ary izay zava-tsoa rehetra dia hitan’ ny masony avokoa.
11 He bindeth up the streams, that they trickle not, And bringeth hidden things to light.
Tampenany ny lalan-drano mba tsy hisy mitete. Ary izay zava-miafina dia avoakany ho amin’ ny mazava.
12 But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
Fa aiza kosa no hahitana ny fahendrena? ary aiza no fitoeran’ ny fahalalana?
13 Man knoweth not the price thereof, Nor can it be found in the land of the living.
Tsy misy zanak’ olombelona mahalala ny vidiny, ary tsy hita eo amin’ ny tanin’ ny velona izy.
14 The deep saith, It is not in me; And the sea saith, It is not with me.
Hoy ny lalina: Tsy ato anatiko izy; Ary, tsy ato amiko izy, hoy ny ranomasina.
15 It cannot be gotten for gold, Nor shall silver be weighed out as the price thereof.
Ny volamena tsara tsy mahatakalo azy, ary ny volafotsy tsy azo lanjaina ho vidiny;
16 It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, With the precious onyx or the sapphire.
Ny volamena avy any Ofira tsy ampy ho tombany, na ny beryla saro-bidy sy ny safira aza.
17 Gold and crystal are not to be compared with it; Nor can it be purchased with jewels of fine gold.
Ny volamena sy ny fitaratra tsy azo ampitahaina aminy, ary tsy azo takalozana firavaka tena volamena izy.
18 No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; For wisdom is more precious than pearls.
Tsy tokony hotsaroana akory ny voahangy sy ny vato krystaly, fa ny fahazoana fahendrena dia mihoatra noho ny voahangy.
19 The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be purchased with pure gold.
Ny topaza avy any Etiopia dia tsy azo ampitahaina aminy, ary tsy mahatakalo azy ny tena volamena tsara
20 Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?
Dia avy aiza ary ny fahendrena? Ary aiza no fitoeran’ ny fahalalana?
21 Since it is hidden from the eyes of all living, And kept close from the fowls of the air.
Miafina amin’ ny mason’ ny velona rehetra izany ary takona amin’ ny voro-manidina.
22 Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.
Hoy Abadona sy Ifahafatesana: Ny sofinay ihany no nandrenesany ny filazana azy.
23 God knoweth the way to it; He knoweth its dwelling-place.
Andriamanitra ihany no mahalala ny lalana ho any aminy, ary Izy no mahafantatra ny itoerany;
24 For he seeth to the ends of the earth, And surveyeth all things under the whole heaven.
Fa Izy no mitsinjo hatramin’ ny faran’ ny tany ary mahatazana manerana izao ambanin’ ny lanitra rehetra izao,
25 When he gave the winds their weight, And meted out the waters by measure;
Ka manendry ny lanjan’ ny rivotra ary mamatra ny rano amin’ ny famarana.
26 When he prescribed a law to the rain, And a path to the thunder-flash, —
Raha nanao lalana ho an’ ny ranonorana Izy sy lalana halehan’ ny helatry ny kotrokorana,
27 Then did he see it, and make it known; He established it, and searched it out.
Dia nahita ka nanambara azy Izy; Eny, nanorina azy Izy sady namantatra azy;
28 But he said unto man, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.
Dia hoy Izy tamin’ ny olona: Indro, ny fahatahorana ny Tompo no fahendrena. Ary ny fialàna amin’ ny ratsy no fahalalana.
