Job 27
1 Moreover Job continued his discourse, and said:
੧ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਤਰਕ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,
2 As God liveth, who hath rejected my cause, And the Almighty, who hath afflicted my soul;
੨“ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਲਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੌੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ!
3 As long as my breath is in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
੩ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ,
4 Never shall my lips speak falsehood, Nor my tongue utter deceit.
੪ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੇਗੀ!
5 God forbid that I should acknowledge you to be just: To my last breath will I assert my integrity.
੫ਇਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਵਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਖਰਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ।
6 I will hold fast my innocence, and not let it go; My heart reproacheth me for no part of my life.
੬ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਰਮ ਤਕੜਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਫੜ੍ਹਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਮਰ ਭਰ ਉਲਾਹਮਾ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
7 May mine enemy be as the wicked, And he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous!
੭“ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇ।
8 For what is the hope of the wicked, when God cutteth off his web, And taketh away his life?
੮ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਭਗਤੀਹੀਣ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਲਵੇ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਵੇ?
9 Will he listen to his cry, When trouble cometh upon him?
੯ਜਦ ਦੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ?
10 Can he delight himself in the Almighty, And call at all times upon God?
੧੦ਕੀ ਉਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਗਨ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰੇਗਾ?
11 I will teach you concerning the hand of God; That which is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
੧੧“ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
12 Behold, ye yourselves have all seen it; Why then do ye cherish such vain thoughts?
੧੨ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਿਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?
13 This is the portion of the wicked man from God, —The inheritance which oppressors receive from the Almighty.
੧੩“ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਰਸਾ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; And his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
੧੪ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਰੱਜੇਗੀ।
15 Those of them that escape shall be buried by Death, And their widows shall not bewail them.
੧੫ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾ ਰੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
16 Though he heap up silver as dust, And procure raiment as clay, —
੧੬ਜੇ ਉਹ ਧੂੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਲਾ ਲਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਸਤਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੇ,
17 He may procure, but the righteous shall wear it, And the innocent shall share the silver.
੧੭ਉਹ ਤਿਆਰ ਤਾਂ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਬੇਦੋਸ਼ੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਲੈਣਗੇ।
18 He buildeth his house like the moth, Or like the shed which the watchman maketh.
੧੮ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਮੱਕੜੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝੌਂਪੜੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
19 The rich man lieth down, and is not buried; In the twinkling of an eye he is no more.
੧੯ਉਹ ਧਨੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੰਮਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ,
20 Terrors pursue him like a flood; A tempest stealeth him away in the night.
੨੦ਭੈਅ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he perisheth; Yea, it sweepeth him away from his place.
੨੧ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਵਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੂੰਝ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
22 God sendeth his arrows at him, and doth not spare; He would fain escape from His hand.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਧੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਨੱਠੇਗਾ।
23 Men clap their hands at him, And hiss him away from his place.
੨੩ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੁੰਕਾਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੇਗਾ।”
