Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:

Så tog Sjuhiten Bildad til Orde og sagde:

2 Dominion and fear are with Him; He maintaineth peace in his high places.

"Hos ham er der Vælde og Rædsel, han skaber Fred i sin høje Bolig.

3 Is there any numbering of his hosts? And upon whom doth not his light arise?

Er der mon Tal på hans Skarer? Mod hvem står ikke hans Baghold op?

4 How then can man be righteous before? Or how can he be pure that is born of woman?

Hvor kan en Mand have Ret imod Gud, hvor kan en kvindefødt være ren?

5 Behold, even the moon, it shineth not; And the stars are not pure in his sight,

Selv Månen er ikke klar i hans Øjne og Stjernerne ikke rene

6 How much less, man, a worm; And the son of man, a reptile!
